Those look cool. I still have to figure out whther I'm getting alternate forms or just sticking to base forms though. It seems they're releasing them roughly around when Fuuto PI is releasing which is neat.
But wouldn't you need a spiky version of the Trigger half to make FangTrigger?

I actually think they really cheaped out on the suitcase. The Gaia Memories for the models aren't complete, being cut off where the button and jack would be. The little half memories in the case looks dumb and they should've at least included single-colour, full sized memories you could paint yourself.

The only memory included with the case seems to be Joker, which is cut-off as it's the same as the ones included with the Riders, which are meant to go in to the driver.
While including six full memories with Skull would've been good, I feel the compromise of including one, but making it compatible with the already released ones works.

I dunno, doesn't make much sense to me. I mean even if you put all the memories in the suitcase it's still going to look obviously wrong.

It's not so much that the memories weren't included as it is the fact that there's no option for complete memories for these kits out there, so we're stuck with these little cut in half ones that look awful. At least if they included six grey memories with stickers we could just paint them. It makes the whole suitcase kind of useless.

I still remember how the SIC figure actually gave us the full six, coloured clear plastic memories for its case. I would think the model kits would at least be able to match that, given the fact that models primarily focus on details exactly like that.

I can definitely see why you're annoyed, and it would've been much better if they included full memories with this, even if they were all grey or black.
I think the thing about the SIC version is that it's a quite expensive collectible, and I think that having five more colours on the A runner for the tiny memories
wouldn't have been worth Bandai's effort to them.

I found out the reason. You're not gonna like it.

Basically, due to scalping Bandai has now put restrictions on most every hobby retailer they give stock of their model kits too -- including that they are not allowed to sell to other countries anymore. HLJ is holding out for now but who knows how long that'll last; and I'm not sure how it'll effect pre-orders. Also worth noting that this is just for shops Bandai sells stock directly to, so naturally resellers like Mandarake will continue as normal (though you can probably assume higher demand, obviously).

Geez, it was going good for the first paragraph, and then it just falls apart.
On paper it seems like a good idea, but that'll just make looking for P-Bandai stuff a lot more difficult, nay, just model kits in general. I haven't tried buying kits on, say, Amiami, but it'd be difficult looking for older P-Bandai kits now with this.

Gunpla supply out here locally is pretty scarce too unless you travel to well-developed places.

Probably not my place to say this too, since we already have an official P-Bandai store, but that place is pretty scarce too since they don't stock all the P-Bandai releases they put out. For one they didn't put in orders for the HG Qubeleys.

Just putting this out there, but there's a wonderful third party middleman service called wakuwakumono for those who are interested in buying stuff directly from Japan. I bought some stuff through them for a pretty reasonable price.

What you're saying also misconstrues what's being said. Bandai is still placing restrictions on model kits being sold internationally and it is the reason why AmiAmi and 1999 are no longer listing FRS kits for international customers; the bit that the original poster got wrong is that the actual limitation is on shops that did not have a limit of 1 pre-order per customer (which is why HLJ is still fine). It's definitely not as bad as it seemed at first, but it's certainly knocked out a lot of options for purchasing

Fair enough. Will hope that we'll be getting easier ways to purchase Bandai products, but it'll probably still be difficult. Big ol' RIP either way.

I've taken NNG off my recommend list of sellers. Too many issues and I'm just not a fan of their private warehouse and shipping system. Those really low prices also speak to how messy their business is. Maybe they'll honor those prices or maybe they'll tack on extra high shipping charges, but I'm always worried I'm gonna go to their website and its just gonna be a 404.

I never had any troubles with nin-nin game, I had some with Nippon Yasan that tried at one point to pass as being nin-nin game.
Also, buying on nin-nin game is way cheaper for me than buying on ami ami or mykonbini or even mandarake...

This week NNG upgraded my shipping at their own expense when Japan Post suddenly stopped shipping to my country.

They can be slow sometimes, but they are decent.

Ooh nice, this is our first time seeing a physical model with the updated colours and eye placement. Looks really nice!

Painted and modded Fourze. Some light panel lining I might come back to later, but I painted the driver handle, all the switches, and the green spots on the forehead & collar (screw those stickers)

I hated how the shoulder pads would sit under the arms if you put them straight upwards, so I fixed them in place with some strips of fabric and double-stick tape

Much like the Fourze kit, looks like almost all the orange bits on Ghost are all stickers

Ghost looks quite good, although I am kind of disappointed that the eyecon is molded into the driver. And as for that, the single piece sticker covering the Driver's internals does not look good. I see they also didn't add the horn to the parka ghost's chin, although at least they did fix the sleeve straps.

Reading this blog two things stand out to me -- first being that he has a fair bit more stickers than I thought; with the driver handle and coat stickers being standouts. The second is that despite that he looks stunning! I really like Ore's design to begin with but I really think this will stand out in any FRS display as one of the best

Wow so there's no orange runner at all huh?

Well it does look impressive for what they had to work with. I'm most impressed with how they managed to do multiple layers without it looking bulky. I thought it was gonna look too thick in Ore form and too skinny in Transient. I really need to see the kit without any stickers, but this does make me more confident about Wizard.

I hope the clear part on the belt can be made more transparent with a little ceramic polish.

Man Bandai really phoned this one in. Those stickers are horrid, and orange is such a hard colour to paint over black. All my hype for this kit just died.

Could probably paint it silver and put transparent orange over it.
Though it'd make it metallic orange opposed to the suit's normal orange.

At least if the coat bits on the front were cats in orange you could paint the edges black. There's really no reason we couldn't have had the hood trim and jacket folds as orange. Plus that means the belt is a sticker as well.

I feel like Bandai just gave up. If Ghost was a really complicated design with lots of colours I could understand, but they made most of OOO's line details separate parts, why couldn't they at least try with Ghost?
