This was a fun little thing, I enjoy seeing more non-live action works like Manga. And I was ready to go for another group, but their tweet following the Buster Manga reveal said they'd be caught up soon so I'm waiting.

BUSTER #1 HERO

Just finished myself; I like this a lot! I was surprised just how much I was drawn in and completely forgot this was a Kamen Rider thing for the first two thirds (and I mean that completely to its credit). The twist was a great surprise too!

Honestly between this and the show, yeah this basically cements my favorite character in Saber as Ogami.

Second up is Daishinji though because he's real good too.

I have a feeling that Daichi Kamji as Saber and/or Hayato Fukamiya as Calibur will show up either as full on appearances or as cameos at the very least. I'm pretty sure they're a tad bit older than Ogami.

I'm expecting those two as young adults when Ogami finally visits the Northern Base. Oh, WAIT! OH MY GOD, YOUNG SOPHIA! AAAAAAHHH!

I always assumed Hayate and Ikazuchi were "newer additions" to the line of holy Seiken and Ren and Kento were its first users.

I'm sure I'm completely wrong, though, when we finally get some more characterization for the two. We've been shown the previous users for Rekka, Kurayami, Nagare, and Gekido, and Suzune was Daishinji's personal invention iirc. If not, then his grandpa who forged Rekka or that grandpa's son who is Dainshji's father.

With all additional gimmick that retcon thing in future. I reckon they do hibiki route where southern riders are endless not just foot soldiers. A lot of ONI riders existed. It's weird north kept majority of the sword . Also, in the course of thousands of years there's only few sword made and some are from eons ago. There is possibility daishinji can be useful if they develop him to be a swordsmith that create the final upgrade or weapon for touma instead of touma magically manifest it. There still yet to be an episode where a sword broke in half and need repairs. Daishinji was repair his own sword for unknown reasons.

I don't expect these to be canon anyway if the show decide to take a different route like star war comics.

I'm pretty certain that this is canon. The Star Wars comics from Marvel are canon. The old Legends comics got cut because Disney thought that continuity was too convoluted for their taste.

hopefully we'll get saikou shadow with the arm and leg forms of x-swordman while x-swordman is its own release, mostly 'cuz i'm sure he'll go the evol shf route of "one shf has parts for other forms while the other shf is the final form"

Suzune hasn’t been mentioned to have been created by Daishinji, no, but I agree it makes sense that either he created it, it that his father/grandfather did and used it.
It’d be great to hear more about the Seiken in general, though, and when each was created. I doubt we will, but it’d be lovely all the same!

But if he’s the new Calibur, who’ll take his place as the new Espada? Either Mei or a new recruit joining Touma’s side or Logos’.

The way I see it either Mei gets it or Kento reclaims Ikazuchi some point along the way and gives Kurayami to either Touma or Yuuri. Or Kento says, "Ehh, you keep it" and Touma dual-wields it while Kento becomes Calibur till the end.

My guess is that Kento eventually returns to Espada and we get an all new villain.

Or Desast as a possibility.

Kento will probably give Ikazuchi to Mei and teach her his way of combat and it'll come close to Touma's.

I want Ren to have Ikazuchi, though....

I'm thinking Kento might eventually use the Caliber sword for good (since his dad was good and used it), and that the lightning sword remains unoccupied for a bit. I also feel like Kento will get the next upgrade after elemental dragon whether he sticks as Caliber or goes back to Espada, but it could also go to Rintaro (I'll miss seeing king lion daisenki if it does though).

As for Ren I can see him picking up the lightning sword, that or he gets a new belt, that'll be released through p-bandi, that'll be like a dark ninja.

I'm unsure where the plot is going to take desast other then he and Ren will be rivals in some regards.

If this leaks are true, then this would be THE homage to Rider-1. Considering the name is Shin Ichigo or somewhere near that.

Zero-One was a gateway to new era, his design was bug-themed but he was largely different and didn't make any Rider 1 or 2 references till Ichigata and Zero-Two. He was supposed to scream 'new', I guess.

This Synchro/Shin Ichigo will be that homage, what with the 50th anniversary. I still doubt that that screenshot is related to it, but the Shocker combatrooper is something alright.

On another topic, why is Jakkun the only WRB that changes the forehead sword?

Probably was one of the early drafts for Saber's form change and they decided to throw away the additives for the head blade to save on costs. Tho, to be fair, Elemental Dragon recolors the head blade as well.

If this turns out to be true, then I guess this is the Reiwa equivalent of Skyrider, which is funny considering his show was recently added to Toei Tokusatsu World.

Either way, sounds interesting. There looks to be a Shocker Combatman with the Rider in question, who looks kind of like Zeronos from the image (Kinda wish he had a different color scheme if it is him). The plot sounds kind of like the premise of Kikai's world in Zi-O, which I find neat, but I'm loving how it sounds like a return to formula.

Anyone remembers the Image of all Seiken?
There were 3 Seiken whose appearance we did not know yet. One of them is Sabera's sword, the other is Falchion's. Now for the remaining sword: it looks really similar to the sword of Legeiel, and he is the only Megid to actually use a sword. So maybe he stole a Seiken and transformed it?

While I'd prefer an Ichigo reference to be green or blue like the original instead of the overused red, that all sounds very exciting!
