I own most of the SHF Riders on sale there and they're all solid. If any of you don't have them & were interested, they're each worth it.

It kind of makes me sad that so many Gaim SHFs are on sale there. After initial worries about some of those disappearing after release, all of those aren't difficult to find for a decent price. If that's indicative of interest in Gaim cooling significantly, I'm not too optimistic of Bandai going back to the Gaim well for more SHFs (not that I had much hope left at this point, but still).

It's all based on character popularity really. If I remember correctly I saw Sigurd, Marika and Ryugen Yomi on sale and those aren't the most popular characters form the show. Sigurd and Marika never were, and most people started to hate everything Micchy related with a passion after you-know-what happened in the show.

It's not really an indication for the overall popularity of the show, I doubt that cooled off over the years.

But I don’t know if Bandai will give us more Gaim SHF’s either, the problem is that most of what’s left are one-shot villains or very brief or minor form changes and stuff.

I was tempted to jump on the Knuckle, because he's the last Gaim figure I need, but Registered SAL costs as much as the figure at ¥2,800. I haven't done business with them in a while and now I remember why. Sad, too, they had a good bit of stuff I'd have liked to have ordered over the month.

Ok, i think you are looking at the wrong shipping. You want eco sal registered, which looks like normal sal shipping ,the 2700 one seems to be sal parcel.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting different rates. It was ¥2,800 for the regular ECO Registered, not ¥2,700 when I went to order. I tried to check again, but the shipping rates are different now for some reason. Now it's showing EMS for ¥1,800. I'm fairly confused at this point.

Nah, I would never actually pay those prices, I was speaking hypothetically. There's actually three on Mandarake for 7000-7500 yen, which I'd be okay paying if the Cnd was at $1=100y like it used to be in the glory days, but nah.

The exchange rate right now is $1 = ¥103, though it's probably closer to ¥100 with PayPal fees. The Dollar has gone up a bit lately, or the Yen has come down. I'm actually not sure. As long as it stays a bit in our favor, I won't complain.

I got the new Double SHF today and I think he’s awesome. The right yellow ankle ornament thingy isn’t glued on mine so it flops around a lot but that’s not too bad. Posing this figure is scary as hell though since the Gaia memories keep falling out. I mean its neat inserting those tiny memories in the belt and spreading it apart like in the show but I had them fall out during a minute of casual posing twice already. It probably would’ve been a bit better to sculpt two belt pieces, one closed without memories and one opened with them and have it be interchangeable, but also include the tiny memories so the figure can hold them. But I guess you just have to be extra careful when posing this guy, it’s just that I’m not used to pieces easily falling out with the figures I have.

I also got the Green Wind effect set but I’m a bit disappointed with it to be honest. Not with the set itself, it looks awesome, but I didn’t manage to get any stands since they sold out before I could get them in time so I got the effect set without them… and now I can’t do anything with it. The tornado piece is way too big so setting a figure inside of it will always look bad since the wind arm covers the head of the figure almost completely. You really need a stand to elevate the figure up a bit.

This is one instance where I wish they would just include one base and three clear arms with every effect set. I have a trident set so I can at least use the separate wind slices individually, but I can’t pose Double in the center of the tornado piece like I wanted to which kinda sucks.

Bandai is frustratingly stingey with bases.

Well, it's three new Rider Figuarts, it just feels less exciting because they were already announced and solicited as a group. On the bright side, if they're all released in April, it means we're likely to get something new - likely Genm or Lazer - in May.

Given that this is a multi-Rider series and that Lazer's level 2 and 3 forms will likely be separate releases, we'd normally be looking at 6-7 months of our releases decided ahead of time. (Actually more, if they go full-on Figuarts with any of the Level 1 forms, which, now that I think about it, is likely.)

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that the Ex-Aid line is off to a promising start and that they do sell them separately at retail, but my lack of enthusiasm is not just because we saw them already. You probably haven't been around to hear me bitch and moan about these when we first saw them, but I don't like them very much.

And even if they make more Ex-Aid stuff (which I do hope since it means they're doing well), I'm basically sitting here waiting for the Shinkocchou Seihou Rider 1 or the next Heisei Rider or maybe a curveball of some kind.

That's what I was excited for, something other than Ex-Aid, even though I knew they would have their hands full with them in April, April is new Rider SHF time for like 2 years now.

Me to I want that Kamen Rider 1 hopefully it will be announced soon.

Did you get that from the text or are you judging from the pictures? Because I think it’s still the double sided blade, you can see a slim red outline around the ice blade.

I really don't get the whole "no figures of new Ultras thing". I get that apparently Ultra is a reverse Godzilla and only the Showa stuff sells well, but you'd think that while the series is currently airing would be the best time to release figures. The further you get away, it becomes even less likely masses of people will pick one up.
