Dino Charge was excellent in its first season. Cast and characters were great, Sledge was a memorable villain he appeared in later PR shows. The second "Super" season was... okay at best. There were a lot of writing problems and the ending was a giant fudge-up.

Yeah, but that's also not unique to RPM, ya know? Heck, my second favorite season, SPD, is also like that. Being a great balance between a cop drama and alot of inherent goofiness the genre is known for.

Note: I also like RPM, but I do agree with some others that it's a bit overrated.

Was Sledge in the original Sentai? I'm watching a lot of past PR seasons on Netflix trying to see what the popular ones are like. I guess it just comes down to the aesthetics for me. If I don't like them I just can't get into it. Dino Fury, Knights, Swords, Armor, 9+ Megazord forms, I'm all over that.

One of the forms for the Kyoryuger "Big Bad" was used as the Dino Charge monster Greenzilla, but the final form has never been seen in any incarnation of Power Rangers!

I get Sentai is generally going to be the better of the two most of the time, but are people really now preferring Kyoryuger to Dino Charge or Go-onger to RPM?! I could at least watch Kyoryuger but what I disliked about it the most was how the entire thing felt a bit manufactured, how it was trying to make Sentai be a certain way when while I agree Go-Busters wasn't exactly one of my favourites either, at least it was slightly more interesting in terms of characters and story in my book! This is probably a controversial opinion but I actually prefer both Dino Charge and Dino Force Brave to Kyoryuger on that occasion, I think for some reason I must tend to be a bit picky on characters and story moreso than giant fights and so on.
