De-canonizing the movie after one episode seems extremely dumb to me, especially since the Beerus stuff added absolutely nothing to the episode anyway.

Other than that, it was a pretty good start.

Wait, they retconned Battle of the Gods? That's incredibly disappointing...

I really enjoyed the first episode of Dragon Ball Super; I love both Trunks and Mr. Satan's Japanese Voice Actors much better than the English and everyone else except for Goku is pretty good. I am excited and intrigued with where this is going.

I actually hate the Japanese voice actor Mr Satan they have now. Daisuke Gori was so much superior and it is disappointing that Toei didn't even try to get someone that sounded like him to voice Satan.

I take that the 2008 Jump Special is also getting ignore in Super if BOG and ROF being retcon to happen right after the Buu saga. In Yo Goku and his Friends Return, Videl said that the world believes that Mr. Satan beats Buu while in Super, no one has the memories of Majin Buu expect for Goku and his friends and family.

Well Battle of the Gods is still going to happen, but they're changing events around it to I assume make it fit better with the overall direction of the series. At the moment the only change is that Beerus is awake rather than sleeping for 39 years of however long it was, but I still don't see the point of just making BotG a side thing when it contributed so heavily to Super happening in the first place.

Which is how it should have been anyway since they did erase Boo from everyone's mind in Z and the manga.

I guess they could have Tarble join the events of ROF when Freeza arrives. I never like how Vegeta was not surprise by Tarble being alive and having a little brother. Vegeta said when Trunks first show up that he said that only him, Goku and Gohan where the only saiyans left. Either Vegeta likes to pretend that his brother does exist or it's another plot hole in the series.

Nope. Bulma even went so far as to mention him in Battle of The Gods. Confounding even further why Toriyama would go so far out of his way to make everything no longer sync up properly. Or at least as close to properly as it did before.
