Another wonderful Tuesday night with a fantastic episode of The Flash and one hilarious iZombie episodes. Both seasons have started off with a bang for both episodes. Let's see if Arrow can keep up the momentum tomorrow.

The Flash was great today. I loved the teamwork between Jay And Barry, especially when they both run to Patty with the wall in between them. I like how Cisco said he gets a "Vibe" before his visions. I guess Wells is back now?

it was because it wasn't marketed well. they constantly tried to market to kids, when it was teens to adults who were watching it. the more I look into it, the more bullshit it is.

Another great episode. I do think it was a little excessive with the flashback though. There was no need to have it broke into like 6 two minute sequences when two five minute ones would have sufficed. Thankfully, it didn't feel out of place like they did last year.

Aye, tis a shame.

So, on another topic.
I saw the new suit Jay Garrick is donning.
I like his costume but I was a tad disappointed how his helmet was not silver.
Not a big deal, I know, but it would have been nice to see the color scheme be retained.
But I will live.
Superman's story is interesting, and Batman as Winspector/Solbrain is funny.

Read the first issue of the new Superman: Lois and Clark book and it was pretty fun. Really did not expect this to take place on the main DC Earth.

Oh Fuck You, Malcolm!

Another solid episode and I liked that things are getting a bit deeper already. Oh, and it was pretty awesome having a meta-human battle Ollie even though I am not familiar with this Gambit wannabe. What is really cool is both Flash and Arrow have started to set up Legends of Tomorrow based on Barry's final conversation with Snark, the resurrection of Sarah, and that is clearly Ray trying to communicate with Felicity. Also, did anyone else get Season 1 flashbacks when Felicity started to make excuses to Mr Terrific? It was pretty funny.

Supergirl wasn't bad Certainly no where near the horror story some made it out to be. My only problem is that it felt rushed. They really should have saved the whole secret organization thing for the second or third episode. Same goes for Astrad. Oh, and I do not like Jimmy Olsen being black. On the last side of the negative, I find it stupid that they can't just say Superman. Positives include that the girl is perfect for Kara. I'm not familiar with Cat Grant, so I can't comment on her accuracy, but my god she is a bitch. Hopefully she actually learns to lighten up as the season progresses otherwise hopefully someone will toss her out of a window. I'll be back for the next episode, I just hope they slow down a bit on the pacing.

Yeah the Gambit wannabe is Double Down, a Flash villain. I knew little about him as well but he does pop-up in the post-Convergence New 52 Flash comics, where he tells Henry Allen that Professor Zoom/Reverse Flash has returned to Central City.

I do like how both Flash and Arrow are setting up Legends of Tomorrow. It's kinda like how the Marvel Cinematic Universe set up the Avengers or Agents of Shield setting up Age of Ultron. Can't wait to see more

Supergirl pilot was pretty decent. Definitely suffered from pilot syndrome and some cheese overload, but I think it will improve as the season goes on. I will never get used to everyone but Ally McBeal pronouncing "Kara" wrong, though.

As expected, another great episode. I'm so glad that Iris just didn't welcome her mom back with open arms like I thought she would. The stuff with Jason, I mean Jax, was pretty cool too. Tomatax was interesting. All I know about him is he is a Firestorm villain in a robot suit. King Shark was great and I liked that they aren't afraid to use other big baddies outside of Grodd. Granted, we probably won't see any more of him for the rest of the season, but knowing he exists is awesome. Can't wait to see what happens next episode.

And OT, but another terrific iZombie episode. Every week this season there has been some truly excellent one liner. This week it was: "I hate the term 'Made Love.' It's like Sex hired a PR group to speak for them." Or something like that.

iZombie has easily become one of my favorite shows on the air right now. It's a ton of fun and Rose McIver is kind of amazing.

It's so amazing to think that a former Ranger has that much acting ability, especially from the Disney era.

The Disney era was actually really good about getting talented New Zealand actors. They weren't just grabbing a bunch of level 1 newbies out of community theaters (Operation Overdrive notwithstanding) like Saban did with Samurai and Megaforce. A lot of them had previous acting jobs and several have gone on to other roles on TV or in film.

Pretty much my main reason for liking a majority of the Disney Era.

Back to the main thread, I really enjoyed this episode of the Flash. I like Jax but I don't see why they had to create him to be Ronnie's replacement if they already introduced Jason Rusch in the first season. I don't know but I'll wait and see how Stein and Jax work in Legends of Tomorrow. Pretty cool to see King Shark at the end even if it was a bit out of nowhere (although he did get mentioned a couple of times) but it does kinda fit the point that Zoom's 'assassins' could attack Barry whenever without notice. Can't wait to see how the Flash Team react to Earth-2 Wells.

See, I thought the actors in NS, MF, and OO were down right awful. Well, NS had Cam, but the rangers, especially Tori, and the Lothor, were completely over the top bad. I never got to see more than the first episode of JF but I hated the dude they casted as Jared. Never saw RPM though. The most I know about that show is from Linkara's review of it.

Man, this season is just down right solid so far. It could end up being better than the second one and we are only four episodes in. Not to mention next week is Constantine, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did like the change of pace from it dealing with some down right evil villains to people just doing what they can to survive.

So I'm watching "Birds of Prey". Is the clock tower that they're using the same as the one used in Smallville? I mean just set wise, I know there are big differences. But it's not uncommon reuse material from former series in a newer series.

Watching last night's Supergirl. Apparently the villain is a Madou Horror.

Okay, so Perd Hapley is a newsreader on this show. That is a big hit on my ability to take any of this seriously.

Oh man, that was easily the best line of the night. Even iZombie didn't have anything to compete with that one. As expected, another terrific episode with some more Earth 2 stuff. Man, I am so fangasming right now. An interesting twist on doing an alternate version of Dr Light as well. I can't wait to see what happens next week.

Arrow:

A few strange editing bits, but overall, Constantine was awesome!!!! I love how they were playing the music from his show. God damn it sucks so much that they didn't continue it.

BTW, did anyone think of foreshadowing when the dude was telling Ollie he doesn't want a scandle? How much you want to bet that his ex that was pregnant shows up with the baby this season?

Great episode of Arrow! Good to see John Constantine again. His interactions with Team Arrow were funny and entertaining. They're definitely getting ready for Legends of Tomorrow. Can't wait to see more

First off, Flash was awesome. Grodd was amazing and I can not wait to see where they go with the Gorilla City storyline. Chances are though this is it for Grodd for this season.

Tonight's Arrow? Wow, the action in this episode was really well shot and choreographed. Probably the best of the entire series to date. I loved the comment Felicity made about no one staying dead anymore. A lot of great moments happened including the ending speech Oliver made towards Darhk. Can't wait for to see Vandal Savage though. OMG!!!!

Also, it doesn't seem to get discussed at all here, but iZombie is a freaking awesome show. The first season was okay. It got better as it went alone, but this season has been incredible. Last night's episode was just on fire as far as one liners go. You guys really need to check it out if you haven't already.

Wish they had the new Firestorm here, so that Barry wasn't completely surrounded by Arrow's posse. Nothing against them, but it's a bit of an uneven ratio.

Well Hawkgirl is technically Flash's since she appeared on that show first.

True, but unlike the Arrow Team they haven't teamed up yet first to make it feel like 1 team meeting the other. And she's likely to just run off to Legends of Tomorrow right after, like Firestorm and Sara, so it's not like she'll stay on the show right after.

So whats up with some of DC Comics monthly solicitations? On their site, JLA #5's synopsis is "With the League utterly defeated by Rao, only the failsafes devised by Batman can possibly save them now!" but JLA #5 was released as a Martian Manhunter story and a kind-of prequel to the Martian Manhunter series.

Like what's up? I judged by the cover that somehow Martian Manhunter was gonna be involved with helping Batman but it was a complete side-track from the JLA story.

Same with Flash #46. "Is the missing Heat Wave dead-or alive? The Rogues reunite to find out. But the search has gone bad that they need to enlist the help of The Flash to find out!" But it wasn't a Heat-Wave or Rogues story, just a continuation of the main story.

It's really starting to get confusing with what to expect each month.

I just, man I just can't. I can't even to begin to detail all the issue I still have with this movie based on what we know and have seen. That incredibly weirdly paced trailer does not help matters.

Which is worse? Goofy Bruce Wayne voice or goofy Batman voice? Giant naked mole rat Doomsday looks ridiculous. And Lex still looks like a caricature. Wonder Woman continues to be the only thing in the movie that looks half decent.

Another great episode. Not sure how I feel about the Hawk armor, but whatever. I'm curious to see if they are going to eventually find more Nth metal to turn into weapons.

However, wow, this episode had it all. Ancient Egypt, time travel, alien metal, and great dialog like "I just have to ask, did you spend all morning in front of the mirror rehearsing that speech or did you just come up with it now?" Now I really can't wait to see how Legends of Tomorrow goes down.

Great crossover episode. Definitely better than last years. I cant wait to see Legends of Tomorrow!!!
