I don't even get how that new helmet would even work on the old base head. The crescent is part of the original sculpt. This new headpiece - the flared horns - are clearly of the same sculpt on the new head. There's no way it could just slide over it. The new mouth and facial details also give it away. The back of the head, sure, that looks like it behaves like all of the other ACs thus far.

I don't even know how anyone could possibly think it's not a new body underneath. Or, modified. For one, the belt lacks the Musou saber hilt or hole for it. The forearms are new, and the new head crest is MOULDED onto the old one, which is a different shape. The moustache is also clearly moulded on.

The only thing that is the same about this figure's head and the old one is the eyes. That's not saying they didn't reuse 80% of the original AC Gaim's body, if the head and forearms are the only things different though.

That said, I absolutely LOVE the Kachidoki Arms design. I stopped getting the AC figures in favor of just waiting for Figuarts (especially since it's so difficult to get the AC, and it's been really easy to grab the three Figuarts), but I feel a bit of regret for not grabbing the AC of Kachidoki Arms.

Well, I never did like the AC's so now wait for the masterpiece of a Figuarts.

Seeing as we're not likely to get Gaim Banana Arms in SHF format, my options are kind of limited.

Pity they're all so fraggin' difficult to get.

If they do make Gaim Banana Arms, then it will probably be a Tamashii web exclusive.

I think we're far more likely to get Ichigo Arms, though.

Well it at least happened in the series, so the chances of getting it are higher than say, Gridon Melon Arms.

Which isn't that bad if you consider all the ones that appeared for 1-2 episodes will probably be exclusive, along with Gridon, Kurokage, Bravo, and Knuckle definitely being exclusives, and considering that, all the non-Zangetsu Energy Riders being exclusive as well.

Hell, doing all the Riders and Gaim's upgrades, Shin Zangetsu, Baron's upgrade form is more figures than doing the few form changes there are in the show. And they've done all of Ryuki's Riders and their form changes (sure, there's only three but still!. With the exception of Femme anyway. And doing all those figures for Gaim is MORE than the Ryuki releases!

Considering that the only differences between the jinba arms is the panels on the front that show whatever fruit the energy lock seed is, couldn't they make the panels and belt swappable and just release one Gaim Jinba arms that can be any of the jinba forms?

I just had a thought. the myth cloth stand from saint saiya, with it's cracked concrete looking stand, would be perfect for the deliciousness that is the bravo figuart, and I guess the other gaim figuarts.

I was actually considering getting myself two sets of these for my Sentai Figuarts since it comes in sets of 3 and actually has 6 arms and claws unlike the Act 4 which only comes with 3. Haha

Seriously everybody should buy Cloth Myth stages. They are the most superior of the Tamashii Stages. Literally the best.

Bravo is a September release. We only have up to June releases for regular releases. Ryugen is probably July, or August at the VERY latest.

So yes, technically Bravo is before Ryugen, but Gridon was before Zangetsu, and ultimately Zangetsu is being released before Gridon in the grand scheme of things.

Dude, get both! I think both line has something to offer. SHF for the aesthetics and AC for playability.

What's the general consensus on the 66 figures? Are they any fun?

Super cute and pretty fun, it's the toys that you leave on your desk to mess around with, the articulation range is less than I thought, but what do you expect? it's just barely bigger than the US ranger key and it has a ton of details!

Seeing how popular Gaim is, I think it's likely they will do figuarts of all of his forms. I mean W got all of his forms made into figuarts from what I can remember. Gaim is more popular then Wizard, I think all of his non movie and hyper video forms will likely get a retail release.

The 66action figures are the best, sad to say OOO is the weaker of the four for me, his articulation is oddly less than Gaim who has shoulder armour. Gaim though is perfect.

Fuck, I hated Wizards SHF. All his base forms were virtually the same. they shoulda done one base form release with 4 heads and chest plates, sold it for 100 bucks with a few effects parts as a first run bonus

I finally saw a detailed picture of the DX Kachidoki lock seed. Holy crap that thing is huge. It looks more like one of the vehicle locks. Still, I'm glad I preordered it.
