There's an ongoing theory that they're sticking to the original release pattern, and we DID sort of have a marathon of Kabuto releases before we really got into any other series. Though as an interesting note, assuming this old checklist is correct, Hoppers came out before even Kabuto so technically we're overdue for them, and TheBee was third from last for Kabuto's releases, followed by Drake and Sasword. But Accel is roughly where he was in the original release order if we discount W's alternate forms and Decade Violent Emotion, so if the theory IS right, we're actually keeping to schedule, which means we should be hearing about SS Faiz "next".

Or possibly G3 and/or G4. We seem to have skipped them. Which is a shame, I love those designs.

As far as I can tell, unless I forgot modifying it in some way, the skirt just popped off.

I removed the skirt because it hindered the articulation too much imo, and without it I still think he looks okay. ^_^

I guess Bandai figured that the SHF Den-O we have now is substantial enough, so a Shinkocchou release isn't really a priority right now

Will probably skip the First anyway. It's a bit too plain/like all the other Ultras and I'm trying to cut back on Figuarts in general. Standard Origin is a must have though.

Yes! Finally. I enjoyed Orb so much; it's great that we're finally getting SHF's. Also I just realized the whole idea behind the First Origin form is that it's the Origin form from the show repainted red... never noticed that. But to be fair I don't care much about the Amazon prequel, even though it's probably good.

Anyways, Orb Origin is a must have, no matter how they choose to release it. I really hope those do well so we can get more. I would be down for all of Orb's forms (especially Thunder Breaster) and of course Juggler.

That might be rather unrealistic but man would it be great. At least give us Orb Spacium Zeperion Bandai, that one can’t be too hard to do now that you've done Origin.

Well the SS Faiz shouldn’t be all that far away if their previous release pattern holds up and considering they seem eager to get at least one upgraded form of each main Rider out of the same mold I'd say chances for a SS Faiz Axel aren’t that bad :)

Oh, yeah, I meant his main form that he had in the show. The other one might have been his original form, but that came into the show last, thus, to me, Orb's main form is when he is combined with Tiga and Ultraman.

Ya know, this doesn't have anything to do with SHF, so I'm sorry if I upset anyone by bringing it up, but I was thinking about this today and figured I'd throw it over to you guys:

Remember the scene in 555 Paradise Lost, where Pysga tries to run away from Faiz, so Faiz turns Axel form, chases him, damages his flight pack, and Pysga crashes?

If Faiz needed Axel to keep up with Psyga's jet pack, do you think it'd be possible for Psyga to keep up with Faiz Axel without his jetpack or was the jetpack all he had?

Do you think Psyga would also need an Axel bracelet if he wanted to fight Faiz Axel without his flight pack?

Is the TaToBa figuart worth picking up? I know it's inevitable that he'll get an S.S. release hopefully next year, but Eiji is my favorite main Rider and it kinda sucks that I don't have a single figure to represent him in my collection.

Not really. He has infamously weak ankles that makes standing him up surprisingly difficult.

If you love OOO then maybe (and I can't imagine he goes for much these days), but honestly it's one of the worst Rider Figuarts in my collection (second only to ZX). Terrible ankles, sloppy paint and gummy hands/claws do not a good figure make :(

From what I gather I may have just had some really bad luck with him though, as others have had much better experiences. Still, I'd only really recommend him if you can find him reasonably cheap.

It's probably worth it, if you can get him for less than $20 shipped, otherwise, no, don't.

He looks pretty good, but honestly, it feels like a cheap figure to me, and the super very unposeable ankles suck, and can make him difficult to get into a pose that looks right.

If you do get one, go in with VERY low expectations, and then maybe you won't be super disappointed. Just a little. I'm glad I have one, but I agree, the OOOs figures are the worst out of all the heisei figuarts.

Super TaToBa isn't perfect, but is a much better figure, maybe get that one if you can, instead of regular TaToBa.

My TaToBa figuart does not have any paint issues (I got mine in 2013) but I feel like he is a bad figuart by today's standers. His hips feel very lose and his head is too small. I do think SHF Putotyra is not too bad though.

Definitely not. I bought one and its leg broke at the knee the moment I tried using the joint. He doesn't look quite right when displayed among the more modern Figuarts. I'm with you on being impatient, though. Even though I technically own it (I repaired the leg with superglue, but the knee can no longer be used), it still feels like a hole in my collection. It is literally the worst Figuarts Rider I own, now that W has been replaced.

If you're die-hard for OOO, look for him for cheap. Otherwise I'd just wait. Mine's fairly okay, but if you're used to the current quality of Figuarts, he'll be a massive disappointment.

Given the discussion of relative sales and what is and isn't getting made in Shinkocchou Seihou, it just occurred to me that we only saw the Hoppers and Accel recently, and they're already being released, whereas we saw Diend previewed some time ago, and it hasn't materialized. I wonder if this means SS Decade's sales weren't up to Bandai's expectations.

I can see Diend being a Tamashii Web Exclusive similar how Gatack was. However I could end up being wrong when the figure ends up being released.

Yup, the one on the left with the red suit is "Origin The First", the exclusive form of the Orb prequel which is only available through Amazon.jp's streaming service, so it makes sense that the figure is also exclusive to Amazon.

The black and silver one on the right wielding the Orbcalibur is Orb's Origin form from the show and will be released through normal retail :)

Official pictures of Ex-Aid Dragon Hunter are out. (I suspect TokuNation will have them up in an eyeblink.) I dunno. It doesn't look like the waist moves. The paint is drastically improved, and the articulation is a little better than the LVUR. Sounds like it just comes with additional hands, although I wouldn't be surprised if the Gashat(s?) turn out to be removable.
