Kind of, they produce a good number but every retailer only gets a certain amount. It can get a bit messy if the character is crazy popular, but usually you should be fine if you just remember on which day the pre-order goes up and put one in on that day.

Thanks for the tip. I was hesitant to purchase this, despite my love for Orb and his Origin Form, but I think I'll just bite the bullet and get it. Did the site mention the specific day in April that this is going up for preorder?

No problem. And I don't think you'll be disappointed, Figuarts are generally awesome and Orb Origin looks like a great figure form what I've seen so far.

According to OOO it’s April 3rd, but as soon as Tamashii confirms it via their website I'll post a short heads-up here :)

Skull drop is Sunday/Monday @Midnight PST.

First drop is on March 27th, the only Toku figure in there is Kamen Rider Skull. Apparently there will be another drop later, most likely on April 3rd.

Base on the Ex-aid pic I think the next release will be a 2 pack of both Brave and Snipe lv 5 webshop.

After that hoping to see double mighty action brothers and paradox 2 packs.

I think Paradox Figuarts can be transformable if they used removable armor, (like in Birth Figuarts), the shoulder can become boxing gauntlet, and has two different heads.

Para-DX could easily be a single figure if they figure out how to do the arms properly. Alternate heads and chest parts wouldn't be much of a problem.

Knowing Bandai, they'll absolutely be two different figures, though.

After seeing the new PR movie, would you guys buy SHF figures of the new movie suits?

No. I didn't think the suits were bad but I'm not a fan of the overall aesthetic of the show.

Still unsure if I want SS Skull. The head of the suit just doesn't do much for me. I do appreciate them throwing in the Crystal head here though.

A two-part drop, somewhat close together, is interesting. I guess I'll get Orb, since it's a new character with no Ultra-Act. Still, (sigh).

Yup, but they were bigger, that's the problem. If they really stopped with Ultra-Act that means collectors now have Ultraman figures which don’t scale with the newer ones anymore.

For someone like me who never bought a single Ultra-Act figure that’s no biggie, but others have collected this line for years.

I have no idea how well Ultra-Act has been selling, I just imagine they wanted to have the Ultraman in scale with their other figures now. And also making some of the more humanoid monsters is easier now I guess.

That’s pretty easy actually, just ask yourself "Am I this cool?" and if the answer is no then it’s me :p

Aside from the Manga Ultra suits, which carry the line's name on the box, it's basically dead, yes.

As Kiwami indicated, we don't know. It's not clear if the line just stopped selling (it pivoted to being primarily exclusives for a long time toward the end, but then again SIC's been that way for YEARS and the line's still going), if Tamashii Nations decided to change course for specific reasons (maybe the Figuarts line is worth more, branding-wise...Stay Puft was released as a Figuart, not a MonsterArt) or no apparent reason at all (they've shuttered the D-Arts, SIC KT and Tamashii SPEC lines, and let things like MonsterArts and DX Chogokin start & stop with gaps in releases for extended periods, so walking away from lines with no reason stated isn't unusual for them).

I'm expecting that if sales for Gomora go well, we'll see the MonsterArts line canceled and put under Figuarts so they can release all of the Heisei monsters in a smaller scale.

I think this will happen sooner or later. Probably once the next big Godzilla anniversary comes around.

If they weren't too pricey, then yeah. Or, at the very least, Red Ranger and Rita.

Definitely, because the Legacy figures are near Figuart prices here anyway.

I liked these suits since day 1 and I've been saying since they've been revealed that they need more premium Figures to let these designs shine.

I would be down for Movie Figuarts if they get made.

I'm guessing Alpha and Omega did well enough for them to delve deeper into the line, and I'm more than okay with that. Not really sure what else they could give us from Season 1, except for probably Omega's Amazon form.

That was way less painful than I expected. One Skull and, although unrelated to the thread, there Destroid Defenders secured. Too bad it's already a heavy order month, I wanted four of those suckers.

Not ordering from AmiAmi ever again. Waiting for HLJ, which they don't seem to be listing it.

I did the same. It’s not much but 5 bucks are 5 bucks, especially if you buy multiple figures over the year.

I've had HLJ oversell toku stuff too many times in the past to count on them for this sort of thing unless I have to. Granted, they seem much better than they used to be, but $5 for peace of mind is worth it to me.

AmiAmi is screwing me over big time with the Ex Aid 3 pack. Changed my shipping method, making me have to recharge it back to the method I wanted. So I needed a new invoice. They are so slow on shipping things out, whereas HLJ is so quick, to the point things go out Friday and I get them Monday. Not only that HLJ has private warehouse.

I've had zero issues with HLJ, but whenever I order from AmiAmi something goes wrong.

It really depends on who stung you so badly that you won’t forget about it I guess :lol

For most people that's HLJ sadly, I consider myself lucky that that crap never happened to me. Still, I don't blame anyone for going the "safer" route with AmiAmi.

In the end what matters most are the figures anyways, not where you bought them :)
