Makes sense though. W and Kabuto both sold extremely well in the line, and it's easy enough to retool them into new Riders (Eternal is basically the W mold slightly modified, repainted and new parts slapped on). Hibiki sold poorly IIRC so they're probably being cautious when it comes to Kiva.

I'd reckon it's why we haven't seen the rest of the Agito riders or any of his other forms yet, because it doesn't seem like Agito himself sold all that great (purely based off of the fact that it's easy to find him for below his original retail price).

@Topic: Since we had a little bit of time to see all the new stuff from the Tamashii World Tour in Osaka now, what was your favorite Toku reveal?

I think Shinkocchou Seihou is doing some great stuff, Eternal with a cloth cape looks gorgeous and the SS Ichigo figure continues to look perfect (please put this one up for pre-order soon Bandai) but I think what got me the most excited is the Jugglus Juggler Figuart.

I never expected them to get into the really new Ultraman stuff until Orb Origin was announced and even then I was skeptical that we could get a villain/antihero from this (even though they do release a lot of monsters these days) so seeing him on display made me really happy. Can't wait for this one to come out, I hope it's not a matter of years but rather months until we see Juggler up for pre-order.

Well when the Orb stuff originally went up I remember them having that little box with a "?" next to the two versions of Orb on the page, which is the same as they did for Zetton and Zoffy when the original page went up.

The turnaround for those was fairly quick, so I hope the same will be said for Juggler. That said, the space could end up going to Specium Zeperion now so who knows.

Yeah I remember the box and the Ultraman line itself is on fire right now so I don't really fear that these specific prototypes will be shelved for an entire year but...

I think my favorite reveal is Eternal. For me, it's for several reasons:

1) Eternal is an awesome design
2) They're showing that they're willing to do movie Riders in the S.S. line
3) Between this, Batman and Vader, cloth capes may become standard in the Figuarts line

Eternal looks good, which I am surprised about because I usually hate cloth capes. Cloth miniaturizes terribly, at least most of the time, but they really seemed to have solved that. I didn't even realize it was cloth at first.

The winner for me, though, was Retsu Ichijouji not being a display piece this time but having an actual price, even if we're still waiting on a release date. You can't go wrong with Kenji Ohba and I hope it sells well enough to drive the release of the Takeshi Hongo.

Juggler is probably my favourite as well. Eternal is great but I kinda had a feeling he'd happen sooner or later.

They already did that with Skull ;)

I never had an issue any other time. This is the first time they my figure is just sitting there. It sucks as I was really hoping to have it for my birthday tomorrow.

It doesn't happen often with me but there may have been a couple times that my order would take longer to ship than normal and I usually just send them a message on the order page. It usually ships pretty soon after or they just had forgotten to update my order with the tracking info.

I remember when Figuarts used to come with all sorts of weird little accessories that fit the character, even though they technically didn't make sense. Like Beast coming with mayonnaise, or the Hopper Brothers coming with a bowl of Ramen, or even Bravo coming with wine.


Now we're lucky if they even come with all of their weapons.

Yeah, it sucks. Thankfully I don't feel like I'm forced to buy those, I just skip every figure that lacks accessories like this.

I would've really liked to buy Neo but oh well.

So I picked up my first Shincouku Seiho figure, Kamen Rider W Cyclone/Joker and was impressed I've been hesistant to look into said high-end line because quite frankly, the Figuarts price creep has been staggering and I've pretty much been priced out of the line.

That said, while the Ryuki line of Figuarts was pretty solid, I am hoping to get Souchaku Henshin versions of Ryuki and Knight, mainly to replace my Ryuki which for some reason has the red plastic for its joints faded....almost to the point of looking like stress marks. None of my other Ryuki-series figures have this problem so its a bummer that the titular character of the show has his figure literally kneecaped by some weird plastic degradation.

Was I mistaken in thinking that pre-orders for Figuarts Genm were going up today?

Er, never mind. I guess I order web exclusives so rarely I simply forgot that they don't go up on AmiAmi, HLJ, or similar.

Looks cool, but that seller has stolen my photosfor his Gokaiger auction. I was checking the auction out that you linked to and only noticed while scrolling threw his other listings. So thanks for that. But forget this guy. I could have appreciated his work if not for that.

The new Shin Ichigo figuart looks good. The original Shin Ichigo figuart was my first figuart and it's going to be hard for me to get rid of it. I'm not sure if anyone had that feeling before.
