I'd love for Kid Goku to get a release. I wonder if it'd be in his blue outfit or the orange one he wore after training with Roshi.

It better be Kid Goku. Doing another Super Saiyan Goku, even if from the movie, would be cheap. And I don't mean his price point.

I think using his orange outfit would be the way to go since it's the most iconic. I think more pre-DBZ era characters like Young Piccolo Diamo, Roshi as Jackie Chun and Tao Pai Pai would be make good figuarts too. We already have Master Asia, so making Tao won't be hard to do ;p.

Tao would be pretty cool. It'd also be pretty cool to have the bandit Yamcha, back when he was important.

Speaking of Cure's, they finally confirmed they'll be at Tamashii Nations with some new products. More Dokidoki's? Release dates for Melody and Rhythm? Fresh renewals?

I'm still hoping to see Regina eventually.

I'm anticipating an announcement for Sailor Pluto. Possibly Chibi Moon.

I hope around summer 2015 they release a Figuart of Janperson. Janperson is one of those heroes that once you get into it you get to like it gradually. Plus, it was one of the early shows Queen Kobayashi worked on(a few eps I believe).

I think we'll see Fresh or Yes 5 again before Heartcatch, they need it way more and Yes is probably the biggest season in Japan. I'll be happy just getting release dates for Suite finally and seeing Rosetta or Sword.

I could have seen it happening, if s/he wasn't such a minor point of one episode. They might as well make Seiji though, he's been more relevant than half of the main cast.

It is bizarre to see this figure revealed at nearly the same time as the Figma. Sure the Figma will take ages to come out but it's just odd is all. I'd probably get the figuart for consistencies sake with my collection though. Not to mention Good Smile will probably barely do 1 or 2 releases and call it a day. Whereas Bandai most often completes a line much more thoroughly.

Why did both Bandai and Figma put her in a costume she never actually wore in teh show? The least they could have done was each company do a different costume. It's not like there aren't 60 of them to choose from.

I have no interest in her, but between the two, I'd probably choose the Figma just because of us lackluster the quality control on teh Figuarts has been this year. I have no issues with my Link or Samus.

Manga version?

I don't know jack about CCS, so I don't really know. Maybe it's an outfit that was in the manga or exclusive to a movie or something, and so Bandai and Max Factory picked that one to make their respective figures seem more exclusive/special or something?

Because its the one plastered all over the opening, ending, commericial bumpers and arguably the most iconic version of Cardcaptor Sakura? It isn't like its a costume they completely made up dude.

Yeah, I'd agree that the Figma is probably the way to go for Cardcaptor Sakura fans.

But ugh, too much CCS. March is a really boring month for Figuarts otherwise, too.

I honestly don't know why everyone is expecting more characters out of the Figuarts line than Figma. The only anime shows Figuarts have covered pretty widely are Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z, both of which are shows Bandai has a far bigger hand in than Cardcaptor Sakura. If they were consistent on every property that they handled, there'd be more Code Geass Figuarts than just Zero.

Figma may not give you EVERY character from a show, but they have a pretty good track record of getting most of the main ones out. Especially when the main characters are teenage girls.

I also don't get why everyone is saying "Meh, she doesn't look as good as the Figma version" when the Figma version, based on the proto, looks very manga-inspired. Figuarts Sakura looks a lot more anime-inspired instead and looks pretty spot on. You're getting two different styles here.

And a certain other magical girl show that's discussed here often? We're only two teams away from having every single character released for it. Admittedly, it's also one that Bandai are hugely involved in.

I'll be surprised if we see either company release anyone besides Sakura and Tomoyo. I think Bandai are the ones more likely to branch out to other characters, but aside from Tomoyo, I think we're more likely to see alternate costumes for Sakura than any other characters.

Yeah, I realised afterward I forgot Pretty Cure :lol But like you said, its just another example of Toei and Bandai lining each others pockets. Every other anime franchise handled by Tamashii Nations has fared no better than Figma does.

Also, you think Bandai will hit up Tomoyo before Max Factory? Li I understand somewhat, but Tomoyo is basically everything Max Factory look for in a figure.
