Any difference between SH Kamen Rider Skull and SH Kamen Rider Skull Crystal?

Crystal Skull has an alternate head without the line crack, and the photos makes him look like he has a gloss finish, rather then the matte. I could be wrong though.

Regular Skull has a glossy finish while Skull Crystal is matte black.

Crystal Skull also comes with a plastic cap you can put underneath the fedora to prevent it from sticking to the head and/or leaving paint marks.

They're all mass retail. And the first run bonus with red is a set of 3 tamashii stages for the team. Actually even the other 3 Sentai reds that come with the penultimate power cannon parts will be retail. Deka Red is already out with the cuffs. Bouken red and Red Hawk will also be retail. Actually even the Itasha Robo will be retail. Just ridiculously expensive retail :lol

In other news, my preorder that took forever from ToyArena finally arrived last week. I was late to preorder Meteor and they were the last ones to still have the order available (or at least until BBTS reopened the preorder a week later :( ). I need to get a stand for him, though, because I'm afraid of him falling off my shelf if I keep him in his Bruce Lee pose.

Got my Fourze Firestates from AmiAmi late last week. Unfortunately, I think this is my most disappointing Figuart I've bought so far. The plastic seems cheap and the red colors don't match at all. I'm glad I only paid 1,000 yen for this guy! :(

Yeah, both fire and Elec states were going for 1000 yen on AmiAmi,, but Elek sold out relatively quickly, fire hung around for a little while.

I'm referring to the Fourze weapon pieces. I figured I would take a look at them, because I liked the chainsaw leg piece when I saw it last night, but the cheapest I can find that set is like $40-50. That is nuts for a couple of weapon attachments!!! The most I would be willing to pay for those is $25 shipped, and I don't even think I would do that.

Wow, I could see the difference in the reds before you even said something. It looks like the body was painted in red while the legs were molded in red. I hate it when companies do that. Mattel is notorious for that.

So can all of the Figuarts split apart at the waist that easily?

Module set 1 at Shibuya 600 Yen
Module set 2 at Umeda 800 Yen
Module set 3 at Umeda 1200 Yen

Caveat, if order under 5000 yen, add 500 yen processing fee. But even so, if you got sets 2 and 3 from Umeda, that'd be 2500 yen plus shipping. seems decent to me.

My Figuarts collection has exploded recently. It's not even funny. I now have all of the Ryuki releases (except Blank Form), Den-O Sword Form, All of the Fourze releases including Scorpio, Kuuga Mighty Form, Agito Ground Form, Gills, G3, Faiz and I just got Decade in today. All within 2 months. My wallet. It is dead.

So I have an odd question...I got into the whole Figuarts in January...so I have been catching up on certain figures and such...I saw when cruising the web that they had W effect parts, were they ever released? Or just a trade show teaser?

some were released in the heat, luna, and cyclone sets but thats it

Honestly, if I had the money, I would. Gai was the last remaining free money I had for anything Figuarts related. The rest of it has to go to next month's rent and for next month's anime convention. Of course, I don't even know how much I will have for that if I don't sell off the rest of my GI Joes, Transformers, and MOTUC I have on sale.

On the other hand, I don't really think I like Fourze enough to buy the module sets. I would rather buy Putotyrannosaurus over anything Fourze at the moment.

And I may have led you into thinking I was totally against Mandrake from my comments earlier. I'm not. Mandrake is where I got my Knight from, and the service was great.

Tell me about it. Kamen Rider Black is my first Figuarts. I ordered him on June 5th. I now have Black, Shadow Moon, Kuuga Mighty, Agito Ground, Ryuki, Knight, Ouja, Raia, Gai (not in hand, but he is paid for), OOO Tatoba, Fourze Base States, Shinken Red, AkibaRed, and AkibaBlue.

Figuarts are a deep hole to fall into.

Decade and Wild Tiger were the first two I bought back during last year's NYCC. Shinken Red was soon after when he and Gold started hitting TRUs.

Now I have Gold, Gokai Red, Barnaby Brooks Jr., Rock Bison, Sky High, Origami Cyclone, Agito, Kuuga, Faiz, Black, Black RX, Riders 1 and 2, Skyrider, V3, Amazon, G3, Kabuto, Ryuuki, Knight, Ouja, Skull and Fouze Base States with no signs of stopping anytime soon.

gods the history of Figuarts...snagged Ryuki, Kickhopper and Kabuto to see what it was all about...then got Knight, Faiz and Kaixa...oh and Mrs. Screamer got me a set of stands because she is that awesome...then it started...Fang Joker...Ouja...Black, Black RX...then I just HAD to have Shadowmoon...watched Agito, saw the reviews on it's figurarts...had to have em...I am up to freaking 20 figuarts now from shopping sites, sniping clearances and of course shopping my fellow fans sell threads...it has to be the fastes collection I have ever amassed...and zero regret.

Well I'm perfectly fine with my figuarts. Its I good thing my brother watches Sentai and Kamen Riders, not me. I just buy what I kinda know about and looks cool.

lol in a way yes...but no because when you find a character you like and you are "I want him!" then you see him at twice the retail (theBee!)...unless you are lucky to get a re-issue of the figure (Cyclone/Joker)...

Oh I know. I had Tiger on pre-order. Then I realized "wtf am I doing? I need Ryuki first atleast!" Canceled that order real fast. With Daizyujin and Cosmic states coming next month as well I gotta save up.

I am passing on Cosmic States, not a fan of the coloring, plus I really liked the asymmetrical look of Meteor's base states...now why we never got an effect set I will never know...
