I sure hope so too, but I understand if they can't because of reasons such as scheduling and budget. So far though, I think the show is trying its best in terms of getting as much alumni as possible so that is always a plus. :rock:

The amount of actors that have come back is absolutely insane, so I'm honestly fine with one or two not coming back. They could've easily just do AR stuff again.

I like the idea that if the main Rider can't come back, an 'alternate' version of them can take their place. New Den-O, Future Kiva, Proto Drive etc

Chase coming back as Another Drive is such a good idea I'm annoyed I hadn't thought of it first.

After seeing what the show did with Blade, I’d be down for Another Hibiki being Asumu.

I hope Otoya Kurenai (1986 Kamen Rider Ixa) and Kazumi Sawatari (Kamen Rider Grease) will be meet each other in Kiva Tribute Episodes because that's will be really fun and interesting. :D

Need tie in "gingaman" and also final forms as well as summer movie. I'm curious if Tendou can comeback. Time vs time. Maybe the summer movie will be an alternated ending. Future rider deno?

KR brain might feature drive ride watch if they're do ryuki tie in like that.

Brain mini-series is Drive Saga, not Rider Time, so I doubt it will be Zi-O related.

So far in Blade, they not only got Kenzaki but also Hajime.

In Agito, they got Shoichi.

My hopes for the later tributes would be:

Den-O: If they can't get Ryotaro, I hope it's either Yuto or Kotaro.

Kiva: I hope Wataru comes back along with Nago, Taiga and Otoya.

Drive: More than just the Drive cast, bring in Double cast since they did a special crossover with it.

Hibiki: Unsure.

Kabuto: They can still bring Tendou and Kagami.

Well, toys need to be sold. It's not csm, so I doubt people buy drive add on since they're no rerelease drive driver like decade with update. I want to say drive ride watch might be tie in because with movie, new forms, etc we can't do 2 eps tributes. Also, more cast will return if they have more lines and development in brain. They're doing continiuty instead of retcon now like with recent arcs.

What I wonder is who'd be the new candidates for their Another Rider counterparts?

If Tsukuyomi is really a Time Jacker, maybe she can go back to where Sougo met Swortz as a kid. Maybe she can help alter his path in order to become king the right way without his influence.

Never seen Hibiki before. Is it really as disappointing as I heard?

Last I watched was Kamen Rider Shuki arc (episode 36 I think?) but I already watched the show knowing that it'll be disappointing so it ended up lessening that impact.

Needless to say from what I've seen in the retool so far, it was your standard Kamen Rider series, but the sight of Oni fighting in the city is very jarring to say the least.

You can tell why they retooled the show heavily. The toy sales are low, and the show is expensive due to majorly filming in forests. Not only that but the early Hibiki is very artsy, there's some scenes where multiple shots are used I imagine they took a whole day to film a simple scene.

Does that mean no Yuuto if Kyosuke is showing up here. If so, who are they gonna get for the Den-O tribute.

it was always going to be imajins anyway. That's the easiest option they had.

We~ll, just because he comes back as Kyosuke for the Hibiki episodes doesn't mean that he ONLY has to do that though. I mean if the writers decide to not focus on Zeronos that is totally fine, but they can always pull a Kenji Ohba with the episodes like they did with the Gokaiger winter movie where Gavan, Battle Kenya, and Denji Blue made an appearance together(who are all played by Kenji Ohba btw). Same with Rina Akiyama. She made an appearance on the Agito episodes but she can always appear as Naomi as well if they want her to cause at the end most of us are always open arms with those kinda meta fan service. But bottom line, I would like it either way if it was only Yuuto and Deneb or Kotaro and Teddy or just the main 4 Imagins.

I absolutely hated Kyosuke Kiriya, but...

This is honestly perfect. Asumu chose to abandon the path of Oni to become a doctor. Hibiki accepted that. "Being an Oni isn't the only way to follow in my shoes."

But we know Kiriya continued down that path. We finally get to see where he ultimately ended up. It seems he has inherited the role of Hibiki. We'll see if he has improved as a person.

Todoroki was a junior under the eye of Zanki. Hibiki's theme was passing down knowledge through generations. This works extraordinarily well on a thematic level.

Also, it's a very clever workaround regarding actor situations. Hibiki's actor has bad relations with TV Asahi after a scandal and Asumu's actor has retired from the industry. So this is the best we could've gotten regardless.

And at least it means we get to see the Hibiki suit in action as well (though I wish they made a new suit for Kiriya).

Also, I wonder if this means we won't be getting Zeronos in the Den-O tribute? Or will they end up double dipping for the same actor?

Episodes 1-29 are the show as intended and are some of my favourite toku ever. Post-staff-change, 29+ is a different, less thoughtful and rather bland affair. 29 has a satisfying conclusion, though, so it's quite easy to pretend that the show finished there! :D

They did. There was reportedly an Asumu suit too but it was cannibalised to improve Kiriya's when they changed the plan for the last episode.

Decade route zio going. The remaining tributes will be playing a bigger role with alumi vets. If asumu returns as hibiki it would be legendary, but he retired to take oer his family business and hibiki himself is busy prime time. Ironically, zeronos and naomi are back, but for their lesser roles not better known deno roleas. Heard hoppers are replacing tendou, so not even swasword, gattack, drake, or bee system. Maybe decade and dark kiva/ixa will be back with ghost Grease. Curious if final form, ginga, and summer movie will be alternate ohma zio plan and what involvement it'll be with the rest of the tributes. 4 more left. Drive, deno, kabuto, and kiva. Seriously, deno and drive can be done already because of Christmas movie and brain specials.

I was surprised the full supporting cast didnt return like decade dneo and hibiki arc. I saw a few months ago they did some reunion as well.

Zio look so short compares to his costars as well as returning riders. I didnt expect diend was that tall. He's even shorter than chalice.

The Den-O tribute was covered by Heisei Generations Forever, hence Another Den-O and Ryotaro appearing there.
Of course, he didn't get the Den-O watch, so I'm not sure if they'll just do a second tribute (if any series is popular enough to deserve it, its Den-O), or have Sougo acquire it some other way - maybe during the Ginga arc.

I hope Ginga arc is not it's own single arc, not gonna lie the Quiz and Kikai arc felt padding the show and Ginga could easily be paired with Den-O or Kiva (assuming they use Masao)

Okay, Kiriya is about the most disappointing character they could have gone with for this. Todoroki returning is cool, but as someone who considers the last 19 episodes to be apocrypha, this physically hurts me. At least we're getting a Hibiki tribute, though. I wouldn't have been surprised if Toei had just shoved the watch into the summer movie to get it out of the way like they did with W.

It's a masterpiece, just stop watching after episode 29.

I'm only up to Ep 40 of Hibiki, but I have to say that I'm probably one of the few who favours post Ep 29.

Granted the first "Half" was exotic in an interesting way, but the focus on non-rider characters and lack of action dragged it a bit for me and I didn't like the voice switch of Hime and Douji. After 33, I'm much more comfortable with the show, with the better opening theme, Hime and Douji having their proper voices, Kiriya spicing things up and more focus on the Riders.

I mean it's like with the Transformers movies, with the humans "stealing" the focus of the show when it should be on the superhero alien robots.

I disagree, mind - I think everything post Inoue taking over is absolute bullshit, especially when you take into account the absolute horror that was going on behind the scenes.

For episodes 35 & 36 everyone's favourite suit swapping, water diving writer Toshiki Inoue will be doing it. So If I where to take a guess what the next tribute after Hibiki will be, it'll probably be Kiva.

Honestly I was kibda disappointed that W didn't get a proper tribute (heard that it was tacked on in the movie compared to Kuuga and Den-O). Even if they couldn't get Shotaro for some reason, they can always have Accel.

IIRC the movie was supposed to be the Double arc, but Suda while wanting to is booked for the next two years. So instead they opted for Den-O

Huh so that's why only Kuuga and Double Armor are shown. But it is weird that Renn Kiriyama is unavailable.

I think it might be a case of they wanted them both back, so they just opted for neither.
