Surprisingly, Keiwa is older than Michinaga. He feels barely older than 18. That's what having an older sister means.
Also: there is no age specified even for some of the main riders? At least they could have come up with it in hindsight.

That age chart is really interesting. I think one of the things that surprised me the most was the age gap between Kouta and Micchi. The under 18 group is also kinda funny because while there are plenty of normal school-aged humans in there, there are also plenty of guys like Humagears and Kagerou who don't really conform to normal human standards of aging. Kinda hope some.of the characters in the unknown group get canon ages one day...

The list is fan-made, but they claim that the data is taken from the official website. I'm too lazy to check if this is true, so I'm just sharing the information.

It does feel surreal that I'm older than 90% of the kamen rider cast

As usual I'm obsessing over Kuuga. This time, I was thinking about the Linto characters and writing all over Kuuga's body in its forms, which translates to a description of the form and what it does. However, I thought it was interesting that Ultimate lacks any of the writing except for glyphs on the back of its hands.

I've decided to make it my headcanon that the Linto characters are more than just descriptors, but also similar to binding spells (the Arcle is already sorta bio/magical, so I'm sure there's some spiritual/mystical stuff going on there). Ultimate's lack of writing implies that this is, for better or for worse, all of Kuuga's power unshackled and unleashed. (I like this idea because it also suggests Kuuga's normal forms are deliberately designed to a point, but also falters when you consider the Rising forms didn't exist yet have their own writing, unless this means the Arcle is somewhat sentient and added it on the spot...which I can kind of see?)

Back to the hands. The Rising forms feature the element they are based on, with Mighty/Dragon/Pegasus/Titan having the glyphs for Fire/Water/Air or Wind/Earth, and Amazing having the one for Lightning. However, Ultimate's appropriately has the word "Fight" inscribed on his fists. I think this could be taken as two ways: the obvious intent is that there's no other way to describe Ultimate beyond its function: the strongest warrior that lives only to fight, or with my own sealing headcanon in mind it's a representation of Godai actively keeping himself in check and sealing his own darkness away.

That's a lot of words for a design we don't see much!

The one show that has similar inscription elements that I could think of would be Saber. The WRBs and I think some of the swords iirc have letters/glyphs known as Rider Mojis etched into them.

I noticed that Rising Ultimate has a different glyph on the back of its hands. Anyone got a translation for it?

I took a look at both SHF (Seihou) figures, but it's the same glyph (Fight); Rising Ultimate's is just black on gold opposed to Ultimate's gold on black color scheme.

So it's the same glyph as this one then? Just making sure. Missed opportunity if so.

This is what recently occurred to me. It's quite a popular claim that Hibiki and Kabuto are not the main characters in their respective shows. But do not forget that the riders, with all the reservations, are still designed for children. And, if you look at children's stories, it is also quite obvious that Mary Poppins and Carlson, who lives on the roof, are also not the main characters in their books. And yet, it is also obvious that these books are named after them for a reason. Without them, these stories simply would not exist.
So I think Heisei's sixth and seventh riders should be treated the same way. Hibiki generally fits perfectly into the concept of “an ordinary child meets a magical mentor.” Kabuto is not so obvious, but Tendo and Mary Poppins clearly have a huge ego in common.

This is just me but I suppose we could say, based on this, that the titular characters are still the main characters and characters like Asumu and Arata are more of the narrator/eyes of the viewers. Which Asumu was for the Takatera episodes in Hibiki at least.

In a Reiwa anniversary, they should do a Super Sentai Encyclopedia like with Boukenger.

A thought suddenly occurred to me. What would the Another Rider look like for Kamen Rider Shin from the '92 movie?

Like a "normal" Rider and he wouldn't be evil but heroic.

I think it would be neat if the mirror works both ways. The "Another"-version of traditional Riders are hideous monstrosities, the "Another"-version of the hideous monstrosity that is Kamen Rider Shin is a super-powered dude in a jumpsuit with a bug helmet.

But Shin Kazamatsuri is also a hero. He's just the thirteenth rider, an unlucky number.

He is, but his Another Rider wouldn't since they are the bad guys by design.

I just like this idea because Kamen Rider Shin's design is basically an Another Rider-version of Kamen Rider already, which I assume is the reason that sparked your interest in the concept to begin with.

So instead of trying to make that design even more crazy, we simply turn it upside down.

What if Reiwa's rider anniversary goes the Batman Beyond direction? Like a legendary KR who had a downfall, forcing him to retire from that poor choice until a possible successor comes into the picture to take his place?

This makes me think that if Geats is Reiwa Faiz, how terrible would Reiwa Kiva be? In general, I assume that just next season there will be the first female main rider. Somehow I don't think Rinne will be at the top for long.

And don?t forget Gotchard is Reiwa?s Blade. Let?s hope Majade doesn?t go down. WE NEED MORE FEMALE RIDERS!

Plus I?m worried how the next rider will go. Don?t want the same problems as Hibiki did. PLS be done good with ?Henshin?!

I think that the first female main Rider wont be in a main series show, but rather an adult-oriented spinoff along the lines of Amazons or Black Sun. Just a gut feeling that Toei is still scared of alienating the young boys audience but also knows there is demand for a female primary Rider and doing this will let them have their cake and eat it too.

I actually really like this idea. Then I?ll change my assumption a little: at the end of 2024 or in 2025, an adult spin-off with a female protagonist will be released and, if it is successful, then we can already think about taking risks in the main show.

It's a possibility.

But anyways, how would we picture the sixth Reiwa Rider after Gotchard, where since Showa's Amazon & Heisei's Hibiki & Drive?

Are they gonna go the supernatural & feral routes again?
