Too bad Shout Factory lost rights to the sets after Hurri.
That said I had seen Bouken 27 yesterday. I'm curious to see how close Overdrive's ending is to Bouken. I've seen Crown And Punishment so I would like to see Bouken 49 out of curiosity in a few days. Having streamed Go On I actually felt RPM was really good honestly. Jungle Fury played off Rio and Mele start to finish which was cool. |

Given the fact Samurai was a carbon copy of Shinken I happen to feel that both were good. People seem to think PR is better than SS and vice versa. but I'd say let each be it's own thing.
I did like 3 of the Saban Era II adaptions however. Now I'm watching those shows on the Toei side. Including having finished Go Busters. (Skipped by Saban but adapted by Hasbro.) |
in Power Rangers Dino Thunder there is an episode the dino rangers watching an episode of Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger.

Why is Toei delaying the trademark reveal of the 46th Super Sentai Series for 2022? Was it because of COVID-19 Pandemic? The skeletal force/less workers at Toei Headquarters? Or fear of cancelling the said Tokusatsu genre?

The pandemic isn't why the trademark has been delayed. Zenkaiger, Saber, and Revice all hit their usual filing dates.
No, I think there's something to be said about there not being a Sentai next year. Toy sales and ratings have plummeted, and Bandai no longer has Power Rangers money coming in with Hasbro buying the license. Compared with Kamen Rider which is on an upswing in toy sales, and Sentai not really rebounding for a decade now isn't a good sign. If there is no trademark filed by November, then I think we should start believing that possibility that Toei is going to put it on hiatus. |
