The plus side is I was able to revise my original three selections. Originally I was so focused on monsters it never occurred to me to ask for a human. So this time instead of Ragon I put Anne Yuri.

Kinda wished there was a suggestion for accessories, as I'd really like to see a VTOL included with a figure/set. Or another reuse of that PET screen that looks like the respective background during a rise. But hey, I'm just happy they're open to this, even if I have to jump through a few hoops.

I'm still giggling over the fact that Ultraman Geed Primitive is just listed with every other figure released and/or coming out like it's no big deal.

Oh yeah me too, that'll probably be the next Ultra I get after Seven. Much as I enjoyed Orb I'm loving Geed even more from the designs to the show itself, which oddly feels better put together. It's kinda weird that it's more continuity heavy yet so far it doesn't feel like an important chunk of the story is missing in the same way Orb did. If and when Primitive is released I'll at the very least pick that one up. I would like Solid Burning as well, but I know chances are it's just not going to be feasible from a monetary standpoint.

Yeah it can't be a mistake that Geed is there when that list is so specific to things that are either out or we know are coming out. It's more likely a nice little surprise for those who bothered to fill out the form.

We likely won't see him til February at the earliest now, but hopefully it's sooner rather than later.

HLJ processed payment for Orb yesterday and he's sitting in my Private Warehouse now.

Gotta say, I was a bit wary about HLJ changing their payment system a bit but now I don't have to click Paypal links anymore and I get better conversion rates than before, so I'm happy with the changes they made so far.

I'm really considering picking up Ultraman Orb Origin. CSToys will have that up along with some Ultra Capsules that I'm interested so I might bite and buy it as my first Figuarts. When's the release date again?

Love what I see in galleries for Skull, though. Thinking of keeping my original around swapped to the Crystal head, but it really just doesn't compare.

Eternal looks fantastic, but at 65€ + Shipping and if I get really unlucky, import fees, it's just not worth getting him after I skipped both Accel and Skull.

Thank the gods I have no interest in Eternal because him being a web exclusive sucks.

Just got my Skull in and he's lovely.

Only odd thing to me are the heads. They don't just pop onto ball joints like we've become accustomed to. Rather, there's a central stem that's attached the ball and the front and back half of the heads peg onto that. There are some very, very tiny pegs along the outside as well, but they're completely ineffective at least on both of mine, leading to the unfortunate side effect that the heads just slide apart when not on the body. Which isn't really bad, just a little annoying when moving his parts around.

But other than that (which is so small I wouldn't even call it a nitpick), I love him. With what little time I've spent so far heh. The scarves look great, the briefcase accessory is really cool, the hats fit well, and most importantly for e he has no hip defects so they actually function right! Stupid original Skull Crystal... Anyway, he's great, and a must have for W fans out there.

Honestly the new head swapping method doesn't bother me since my Ultimate Kuuga had an issue with the interchangeable heads fitting so tightly on the ball joint that it'd pull the whole joint with it and it would be very difficult to take it out, so now my Kuuga is just stick with the default head.

Oh yeah, it's by no means really a problem. Was just not expecting it and was quite confused when I went to swap and had only half a head in my hand lol.

So my Orb Origin broke :(

Took it out of the box, tried to articulate it a bit and while I swiveled the right leg out the whole leg came off, the joint was cracked in two. Was really surprised too, I used no force whatsoever.

I don't really expect this to be a widespread issue considering I haven't heard of it by now but that's still a bit of a bummer. First Figuart that broke one me too.

Anyways, I'll try to get a replacement or my money back, should be no issue, but what I wanted to talk about initially was: Did they alter the articulation scheme for the Ultraman figures? I see no swivels on the upper arms and since I could look into the leg after it broke I see no thigh swivels either. Are you supposed to use the shoulder and hip joints for this now? I guess it works but I'm not a huge fan of it honestly.

Also filled out the Ultraman survey, didn't forget to mention Pigmon for you Zeo :)

What do you mean he doesn't swivel at the thigh? Is he different than what is pictured?

Now for the arms, he doesn't have a normal bicep swivel as the bicep does swivel on the inside, it just takes the outter shell of the arm with it.

BTW, I had no idea the other forms for Orb were shown off last month.

Sucks to hear about your Orb though :( hopefully it won't be too hard to replace. The Ultraman Figuarts have had a few issues with joint tightness on both sides of the spectrum. Den-O and Sentai Tamashii will give you plenty of stories about their Ultraman figures being ridiculously loose but while I've not had that problem, I have had a few tight ones. Both my Ultra Seven and UAxSHF Ace Suit had ridiculously tight hips, to the point where they would have easily broken if I'd applied any force. Only times I've ever had to use Shock Oil on figures.

I've sent it back today and should get a new one for free so that's sorted out already. And yeah, I guess mine was just too tight, after the one leg broke out of nowhere I still tried to swivel the other at the thigh but it wouldn't move at all, which is why I thought they removed that swivel alongside the one on the bicep. Guess someone at the factory tried forcing it in a QC test and it was already cracked when I got it?

Oh well, first real lemon I've had, it happens. The paint wasn't too stellar either, nothing major but mine had scratches on the face and some black paint splatters, the silver was rough in a few spots too.

Also, I was surprised that Belial was not an option in the survey so I made sure to mention him was as well. If Geed is popular we really should get new figures of Zero and Belial.

The only one I have had an issue with is Ultraman himself.

The first one had extremely loose legs. The replacement was tighter, but his wrist peg broke. The third one had really loose arms, but since it was Amazon, I hadn't shipped the one with the broken wrist peg off yet and just simply switched the arm. Sadly though, his knees seem to have loosed up over the last six months.

Everyone else I have is perfect.

Anyone have an SHF Double Action gamer pre order they aren't interested in?

Is there no Kiva figuart or am I just not seeing it? I see Ixa, Rising Ixa, Emperor Kiva, and hell even Kiva-La, but no Kiva.

There is not, nor has there ever been, a Kiva.

As the community is quick to point out every single time something new is so much as alluded to.

Is there any reason for this that we know of? It seems weird to have all of the other ones but not Kiva himself.

The actual suit was a bit notorious for it's weight, supposedly the same issue may be the cause of why there hasn't been a figuart, specifically the right leg being too much for the joints.

Now this wasn't an issue for the SIC so I'm not entirely sure how believable that speculation is. But that's about the only thing to go on besides the fact Kiva's merchandise didn't sell too hot, which honestly still isn't much of an excuse. But this is Bandai, some of their decisions are truly baffling.

Maybe Kiva default form Figuarts will be releaed in 2018 for Kiva 10th years anniversary. Maybe SHF Kiva will be released as Shinkocchou Seihou just like Kamen Rider Hibiki.

The second part is a given, but when it will come out... yeah.

I personally think they will wait until every other pre-Decade Heisei Rider is done as a Shinkocchou Seihou and then they do Kiva last to advertise him as the missing puzzle piece everyone needs.

He fits that description already but Bandai's marketing team might want to pour even more salt into everyone's wounds to earn money.

I can see Shinkocchou Seihou Faiz and OOO happening next.

I swear I nearly want Wizard and OOO more than Kiva. Nearly. They just look so bad next to my other Riders. Although OOO is not unrealistic for 2018, I'd be shocked it Wizard happened any sooner. I also suspect you're right about Faiz, but he just doesn't seem to be in as severe need of a re-do. I couldn't even hazard a guess about Kiva. Once they produced Kiva-la - at retail, no less! - I gave up.

At this point, I probably won't even buy Kiva. I've come to the decision that I only need to buy the Kamen Riders that are either from my favorite series or that are my favorites rather than buying every Kamen Rider in existence.
