Yeah, official subs for the entirety of OG Rider popping into existence out of nowhere is most definitely not an unpleasant surprise.

If it's anything like Shout's Sentai subs, they should be pretty solid. I've only watched Kakuranger, and while there were a few timing errors, some inconsistent terminology, and a lot of lines that were sort of "compressed" in their translation, I don't remember there being any real mistakes, which I'd say is what counts.

I could nitpick things about the style, or particular bits of intent in the dialogue that maybe got lost, but even then, it's leagues better than some of the fansubs we put up with. Hopefully it's the same deal for Rider.

From my understanding that's mostly a problem with the pre den-o ones so anything from before 2008. Aftet that point things got better I think.

They mean filming it in the US which won't happen, they film in Nrw Zealand all the time because it's a lot cheaper to do so, not that it affects the shows

Picked up Time Ranger this morning from Amazon. Hopefully they resume DVDs from Shout soon as in either case I will be caught up after Jet Man , Go Go 5 and Growl Ranger.

Hurricane Ranger released on March 29 2019 so almost a full year ago. I'd love to see the Jetix era on DVD.
