No ED song this season. Seems since Saber got one, the producers decided to skip it for Zenkaiger

The best explanation you're gonna find is that Gokaiger and all of the Versus movies take place in their own "Versus Universe," which is a distinct branch of the Toei Toku Multiverse where all of the Sentai teams exist in sequential order. Otherwise, it's best to just accept that all of the Sentai series take place in their own separate continuities. There are some exceptions to this, though, as certain producers like to link all of the shows they've produced into one universe -- which is what happened with Kiramager and Gekiranger. There are also circumstances like Ninninger, which attempted to link all of the ninja-themed Sentai into one world, or Kyoryuger, where all of the members are very familiar with the concept of a "Sentai" team from the very beginning. In those cases, it's usually easiest to assume they exist in the Versus Universe. In my younger and more foolhardy years, I attempted to formulate a Unified Theory of the Sentai Multiverse. It... got real murder-board-y, real fast. As I've gotten older I've learned not to ask too many of these sorts of questions, as they are typically not things the producers and creators factor into their storytelling or worldbuilding. These days, I let the illogical bombast of Sentai wash over me, and I am happy. :lol I posted a similar explanation in the thread a few months ago: Basically, the idea is that each Sentai takes place on its own world, but there’s also a Versus World, where every Sentai exists. That’s where all the Versus movies take place, along with Gokaiger (and potentially Zyuohger). Beyond that, there are relatively few Sentai stories that feature or reference other teams in the bulk of the show itself — Denziman/Sun Vulcan, Kiramager/Gekiranger, Zyuohger/Gokaiger, Kyuranger/Gokaiger (though they are explicitly from different universes), and Ninninger/Kakuranger/Hurricanger/Magiranger are the only ones I know of. We can probably assume that Kyoryuger exists in a world with other Sentai teams, since the characters seem to be aware of the overall concept of Sentai, but it can’t share a world with any of the other Dino teams, Boukenger, or Go-Onger, as they all have completely different (and incompatible) reasons for the extinction of dinosaurs. That said, this is just a fan theory, and multiple producers of both KR and Sentai have said over the years that continuity is not something they even consider when creating individual shows. At the same time, there have been comments from other producers that indicate all their shows exist in the same universe, apart from all the others. The point is that Sentai continuity is an extremely complicated subject, with so many contradictions and inconsistencies that arguing about it is a little silly. :lol |
Sentai only has a continuity when it feels like it. Otherwise, how the hell did Sena not know who the Gekirangers were considering the Rinjuken attacks on the city on a weekly basis just 10 years ago? :lol

Class, I want you all to memorise this and recite this daily. It will save you considerable upset in the days to come. |
We should probably shift the conversation back to just being about Zenkaiger before none of us can see it from Tokunation's main page.
