I just caught one of my old school friends playing Pokemon X so i challenged him to a battle, it was fun but... i got my butt kicked. It was nice battling him again.

they didn't have Pokemon Y at Walmart so I just went with X and put it in layaway ( ._.)

I gave up on Litleo and then felt bad as I really want one so I headed back to 22. My search time is now roughly 4 hours (my play time is 10 hours and I've not even visited the castle in camphrire yet..) so, do I just have crazy bad luck or has everyone else struggled to find a male litleo? serebii says it's a 50/50 chance... But yeah...

( I did find a pancham and he's now replaced lucario and levelling up nicely in my litleo hunt =D)

I think i'm overleveled, i'm killing every Pokemon in route 5 in one hit.

Well I sorted out my Exp Share problem. I hadn't turned it on when I thought I had. :o

I just found out there are only 69 new pokemon but I think the mega evolutions help add to the numbers. I've added Sword guy to my team but may replace him later with something else.

I found one male Litleo and it happened to be weaker than the females, so accidentally killed it... Still trying to get one.

Also, my Vivillion just evolved. Got the polar pattern in PA.

So, shiny pokes are also apparently easier to get hold of. I can wager now that I will still not see a single one in the likely (if past games are anything to go by) 100+ hours I will put into this game =p

Yeah, I know of at least 3 people in my school's Pokémon Society who already found them... One was in a horde battle even.

My brother found a shiny Gulpin in hi's first horde battle...

I think the shiny rate has been increased because i'm reading in all sorts of places that people are getting shinies left end right.

My Gamestop had a small stand that was selling Pokemon merchandise. The weird thing was that they had an action figure of Kirito and a poster of Asuna from SAO.

Been playing the game for a few hours and I'm enjoying to so far, what shocks me I think is just how alive the NPCs feel in the game.

And supposedly Pikachu is hard to find early on in the game? I ended up running into one pretty easily.

Pansage and Panpour took a while, but none have been as painful as that male Litleo.

And since I already had two Fire types on my team I already dropped him for Squirtle (hence "Sanbi," since it wouldn't accept the nickname "Isobu"...). Dx

I just got my fossil after a meet up with a certain team. I chose Amaura since I expected everyone else to pick Tyrunt. It's hard to believe that I've done so much and I'm not even at the second Gym yet.

There are signposts with camera pictures on them, when you examine it it takes a picture and it goes to your SD card.

Awesome! I've only seen like 40. I hope I find a shiny soon lol. It seems to be obnoxiously common and I hope I don't get unlucky... By the way, if the flowers are purple and black, that's definitely a shiny (of which I am rather jealous, as I love Roserade and a shiny of it would be cool).

As soon as I finish all of my Minecraft PvP stuff tonight, I'll get back to Y and try to find this salon again haha.

I'm a bit disappointed with the first salon. You can onlu choose "very short", "short", or "medium". I also kind of wish I could have red hair :lol but you only get natural colors.
