I only have five episodes left, but damn, this is already my favorite new show of the year. It's simply perfect (to me at least).

The show works so well because of how tight the narrative is. 13 episodes are perfect for tv shows like that. Something I think Flash and Arrow dont pull off as well.

Plus the casting is friggen great. I think my favorite has to be Scott Glenn as Stick.

The casting is just absolutely spot on. Charlie Cox is without a doubt Matt Murdock. His mannerisms and the way he talks is perfectly done. I can totally see that guy not just do the dark take on DD but also some of the more lighthearted stuff like wearing a shirt that reads "I´m not Daredevil".

We watched the first five episodes to Dare Devil today and they are all right. You can definitely tell this is the first season because they haven't figured out what they really want to do with anything yet. I do feel it is taking a little too long for Matt to take the name DareDevil and give us his damn costume. On the other hand, I like the things that are happening with Fisk, and right now, he is the best thing about the show. The acting is decent, but the female characters seem to have the same bad writing as they do in the DC stuff. I guess these writers just don't know how to write strong female characters in anything these days. Oh, and I know the comics were violent, but this is a little excessive at times. Finally, I do love the subtle hints at the movies, especially the Magic Hammer and Iron Suit comment from one of the Russians. I definitely want to watch more, but I'm glad this is not a weekly series otherwise it might not have my patience.

I'm glad that the new Spider-Man movie is skipping the origin story. All they need to do is make mention of which origin their following and continue on. I'm even alright with him being in High School, which makes me think it's Ultimate Spider-Man.

... So how about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., huh? I don't know about you guys, but Fitz-Simmons are gonna be the death of me. They've played with my heartstrings so much this season, especially in the last two episodes, what with the fighting and the hand-holding and the fake-fighting and the #@$%ing sandwich...

Looks good. Liked the end of the trailer with the villain being afraid of the train hitting him and then it just falling off the tracks. And the Scott- "Show me how to pun." Punched in face by woman. Woman- "That's how you punch."

Finished up Daredevil today and, by god, do I love this show. I can't gush about it enough. To me it's a perfect adaption of Daredevil and one badass great show. Is it the best show to come out this year, no, that goes to Better Call Saul. But Daredevil is without a doubt my favorite.

The train scene shows they know how to use the sizeshifting powers cleverly, I loved it. :lol

I decided to watch the first five episodes today of Ultimate Spider-Man that is on Netflix and it isn't bad. It isn't the greatest Spider-Man show as it feels like it is trying to keep the attention of those with ADD, but it is quite funny and enjoyable. I hate Doctor Octopus' design though.

Picked up Thor 2 from a Redbox today, so looks like I'll finally be watching that tonight. Unfortunately they don't stock Iron Man 3, so still no way of seeing that for cheap..

Thor 2 was good. not as good as the Captain America sequel, but then again, how can you top Metal Gear the Movie ft. Captain America?
