So Gatchaman Crowds is over and I quite enjoyed it, it had it's flaws but overall it was an entertaining story, even if the G-Crew were mostly supporting characters in what truly was Rui's story.
The ending was way different from what I expected but it was true to the show. Sayonara CROWDS. :thumb: |

Episode 22 of Clannad…
http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mezqiqT0Mj1qlg5tr.gif Episode 23 was cute, but sweet. Episode 24 made absolutely no sense. Episode 1 of Clannad: After Story leaves me guessing about what the story will be about… just like last time. :lol |

Episode 2 of Clannad: After Story involves Sonae deciding to pretend to be Tsunohara's girlfriend… what could possibly go wrong? Also, the triumphant return of the dictionary! Episode 3 features Tsunohara being a compplete and utter scumbag. Well, okay, the ending does show a scrap of humanity, but still… |

Episode 4 of Clannad: After Story managed to not make me feel bad about laughing at Tomoya's injured face. I cannot say that about any other TV show I have watched. |

Gundam Wing endgame. Even though I finished it a week ago, I still want to talk about it.
Wing was very boring until the end. Everything came together and the story was resolved pretty well considering Sunrise knew that they were going to make a movie. Characters were fleshed out, plotlines had decent payoffs. I actually have a Gundam Wing review on my youtube channel if you want my thoughts in one convenient package. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nq-zbGbdqaU Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Damn, this was as good of an ending as Wing proper. But the villain was kinda weak, all of the Gundams have terrible new designs and the end fight scene was just against a bunch of generic suits. But damn Giving the back story on Operation Meteor along with the Gundam pilots really did make not only these characters better then before, but the original series better too. Zechs piloting Tallgeese 3 was also badass, and I didn't hate the suit design. And all of the characters got better resolution after the war had ended. Gundam 00 episode 1-13 Damn, this beginning is a hell of a lot better then Wing's. We get backstory on some of the characters and the political stuff is more relevant then Wing's at the beginning. I like how celestial being knows they are being used by everyone else to get better support and the moral dilemmas of what missions to go on due to that. I liked the Anatistan storyline, pretty much the modern conflict in the middle east except with Mobile Suits. I loved how Gundam 00 analyzed what a near indestructible force could do to these centuries old conflicts and how celestial being tries to stay neutral. this a very post 9/11 conflict built story with Gundam's peace message thrown in. There's rampant terroists everywhere, centuries old feuds going on, and the most powerful are taking sides with a neutral force everyone is against. But it still flips modern conflicts on its head, by Anatistan not needing more oil, but access to a near infinite power source. Thus, making the conflict being more about politics thens that secure the further future than oil does. Allejuah's storyline was also enjoyable and messed up. I like the Gundam designs but only find the big one to be mediocre. But one of the Gundams has a "cast-off" esk ability which is cool. |
Just finished the last episode of Attack on Titan. I was getting ready to say I hated it until that very last second.
They changed things up a little bit, but everything that should have happened sort of did or is implied to happen soon... We just need another season now for any of it to occur. I really do feel that this wasn't an ending, even in spite of Armin's speech haha, so I hope it continues. |
Just watched all of Danganronpa. Loved it, reminded me a lot of other manga I had read before about people being trapped and murders/deaths needed to occur for freedom (i.e, Life Is Money)

Episode 5 of Clannad: After Story might finally have begun the explanation for the spirit robot. Now whether the robot is the cat or Shima is the true question... Episode 6... and I finally realized that the past two episodes were a flashback/dream about Misai... yeah. Well, I guess I was right on both accounts—it seems that the spirit robot is both Shima and the cat. Misai took that news fairly well. Episode 7 introduces gangs and gang wars… okay. That's an odd way to give Yukine a story. Tomoyo engaging in minor vigilantism is rather amusing, though. Episode 8 ends the gang wars. So much emotion… |
Gundam 00 14-25
God Fucking Damn. The Gundam Trinity arc was really cool and I like the girl miester was really cool when she wanted to get with Setsuna, but then..... she killed a bunch of innocent people. I thought the couple was pointless in the story until the massacre happened and I realized something, these two were my relative relation to normal people in this series. It connects the combat of Mobile Suits to a normal individual, making the world feel more connected, something I think Wing failed at. We've had every Gundam Miester except Terria give their backstory and motives for joing Celestial Being. We even get some sympathy from the Tactical Strategist lady. But before we go, we've got to have a rescue and Deus Ex Machina somewhere. So before Setsuna gets his ass kicked by that middle eastern guy in the Gundam Trinity, he pulls some clock up bullshit out of his ass. First Cast off and then Clock Up. How much more could they rip off from Kamen Rider Kabuto? That final fight though, was so epic. Psuedo-DN particle engines attached to normal Mobile Suits fighting the Gundams and a golden ship with the dick in the series piloting it was awesome. Even though i know there is a second season and the show itself knew it was going to have one, I felt like this was a fitting end. Overall, this first half of Gundam 00 was better then Wing's first half by miles and could be better then Wing including the second half and the movie. |
^ Virtue's cast-off I give you but Trans-Am is a reference to Char Aznable aka the Red Comet whose Red Zaku was 3 times faster than the average one.
Season 2 is different as it downplays the political aspect of the show, but it's enjoyable nonetheless. |
Episode 9 of Clannad: After Story features Tomoya graduating. Now what?

Episode 10 of Clannad: After Story not only gives Yoshino more of a purpose in the story, but also a job for Tomoya.
Episode 11 and I've begun to consider yelling at Tomoya and Nagisa to get married already. The only thing stopping me is the odd parallels I see between the anime and my own relationship with my friends at school. Episode 12 reveals to me that I have great timing, since Tomoya just proposed to Nagisa. I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry... :D (Told you I wasn't going to cry.) Episode 13 reunites the old cast and finally gets Tomoya and Nagisa married. Now what? Episode 14... Excuse me... BABIES BABIES BABIES BABIES! *Eh-hm.* Rapper Akkio was amazing. Episode 15 brings a shocking twist—Sonae has never been to Nagisa's restaurant! Well, I found it surprising. :lol Episode 16 has Nagisa die. I can't say that I'm surprised. It's still sad, though. We also return to the concept of the micro-world within the world, which, as I guessed before, seems to have a relation with the spirit robot. Episode 17 features Tomoya's first real father-daughter interactions with Ushio, both in the series' chronology and onscreen story. |
Just finished AOT 25…
Loved the bit of irony in the beginning with the wall worshipers. |
Episode 18 of Clannad: After Story... I almost cried. I honestly did. 3 Idiots did that, Avatar: The Last Airbender did that, and now this episode stands among them as the few stories that have almost made me cry.
|
Started Anohana. I can tell that this show will eventually be heartbreaking.

Just finished Eureka Seven AO and Accel World today. Now onto Queen's Blade to see what it's all about. Wish me luck. .-.

Episode 19 of Clannad: After Story was just as strong as the previous episode. Kyou is Ushio's teacher, isn't she?
Episode 20 has the unexpected twist of being a Fuko episode… oh, and Kyou was Ushio's teacher. Episode 21 proves that the universe hates Tomoya. First his wife, now his daughter? Why can't he keep some happiness? Eepisode 22 is the finale (though there are two additional OVAs). We finally get an explanation for the spirit robot. He was Tomoya all along, and the girl was Ushio. The girl couldn't leave that world because all hope came from her. The ending was confusing, though. Why was the timeline altered? Episode 23 did not explain any of my confusion. It was a cute little story about Nagisa's first year as a senior/Tomya's junior year. Episode 24 is a clipshow. I didn't mind, though, since it at least explained how Tomoya felt about the change to the timeline. So that's the Clannad saga. Apparently, there's also a movie that tells the same story. I'll watch that... later. |
Sword Art Online episode 3:
Ok...how is Kirito level 40, when everyone else is level 20? Since he's venturing solo, and not in a party, wouldn't he have a tougher time leveling up? Anyway, I think it's good that it's written in a way where you really feel the weight of death. There was some emotional whiplash of "Oh gosh, ewveryone's dead!"..."Hey! Merry Christmas! Cheery music!" Also, what the heck was up with that Santa Claus?!? |

Don't take anything I say seriously as I haven't watched the show but iirc Kirito is a "Beater" or something like that, I suppose it's explained later. |
Been re-watching a childhood favorite as of late, Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040.
|
Kill la Kill is downloading as we speak.
I AM SO HYPED. |
Seeing the recent Figma Futayo Honda convinced me to check out Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere.
I got both seasons downloaded and I'll be check'em out later. |
