Recently discovered Satoshi Matsuda's youtube channel and saw an episode where he invited Hidenori Tokuyama for an interview and drinks. According to Tokuyama, the producers of Kabuto noticed how fans were positive of his reprisal as Yaguruma for God Speed Love and that eventually led to him returning as Kickhopper. For those who forgot Satoshi Matsuda was Ren Akiyama aka Kamen Rider Knight in Ryuki, Crab Orphenoch in Faiz, and Karihara in K-Tai Investigator 7.

That's probably true. Japan can be just as patriarchal as the US with society telling boys at a young age that girls are lame and boys rule nonsense. That's probably why most female riders are usually support characters or die (like Tackle).

In other talk, Kamen Rider Blade’s 20th anniversary talk and stage show introduced Leangle King Form. (All I know about the show itself is that it somehow connects the Zi-O episodes to the novel)

That?s really nice, but canonically inconsistent. We saw Leangle?s King Form on the show: the Tarantula Undead. The thing that made Blade?s King Form unique is that it wasn?t supposed to fuse his full suit of Undead, that was a byproduct of Kenzaki?s unique affinity to using the Undeads? abilities.

Of course, Toei also just throws Hajime into random monster groups in all their crossover movies, so I don?t think anyone over there really cares about consistency.

I think that Garren's King Form from the Outsiders is also not included in canon. Basically, until King Leangle appears in at least an official sequel, I see this form as just an excuse for Bandai to cash in on the anniversary.

Actually, that wasn't Leangle's King Form, but Mutsuki shifting between his human self and the Tarantula Undead form.

Side note, the SIC Hero Saga serials attempted their version of Leangle King Form as well if I recall. Of course, this one was definitely not canon. As for this new one, I get Zangetsu Kachidoki vibes in terms of where it belongs within the overall mythos/fandom regardless of whether it is canon or not.

I hope Legend will join the main cast soon! Here?s how I?ll picture his role in the show and how he?ll connect with the team.

• Gotchard/Houtaro: He?ll meet with Houtaro again at his school as a ?transfer student?. He gives Houtaro a ring given by Butler to regain his memory of him. And he?ll help Houtaro become stronger against Geryon and the Three Dark Sisters.
• Majade/Rinne: As the secondary rider, they?ll connect. Plus he might help her out too if he?ll soon gain a card from her, as well as help find out if Fuga is still alive.
• Valvarad/Supana: I?d imagine those two like Geiz & Woz. They?ll argue and fight each other, but will work together. Kaguya would teach Supana a lesson in getting along with Houtaro.
• Renge: She almost fell for Zukyunpire. But keeping Kaguya would be better and would fall for him to see him looking rich.
• Sabimaru: Sabimaru would be jealous of Kaguya getting Renge?s attention. Of course, Kaguya could help Sabimaru learn to speak up for himself.
• Dread/Minato: Get him to share everything on Geryon and the Alchemys Union.
• Ryo: Since he?s reminded Kaguya of Butler, he?ll likely protect him. Even stay over at his house for the time being.

I found out recently, but did y'all know that Masahiro Inoue who played Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade became CEO of AIC last year? By AIC yes, the anime studio that made Bubblegum Crisis, Tenchi Muyo, Machine Robo Revenge of Chronos, and Dancouga.

Do you guys think that Anno will do a Shin Kamen Rider sequel? I would love to see how he would handle V3 and Riderman.

Nope. I seriously doubt he will do a sequel.

He deliberately left the ending of Shin Kamen Rider open and played with the idea of a sequel, going so far as giving the project a name, "Shin Kamen Rider: Masker World".

So I think he's up for it. If Toei lets him is another question.

Personally, I wouldn't want it. Considering all the experience of the "Shin" series of Anno, I would say that he needs a film as an original, and not a serial. It turns out too episodic and drawn out. And if he takes on the manga... Let Shin Gamera do it better. Although, considering how studiously Anno ignored children in his remakes, I don't think he's a big fan of the fire-breathing turtle.
P.S. Although, if he takes on Spiderman, I`m ready to endure the episodic and drawn-out nature for the third time.

Even though Shotaro Ishinomori died before any of the 00s show exist, I always felt like Kuuga was probably the closet thing to his OG riders. Kuuga and Agito still had a puesdo Showa vibe to them. That's just me.

I know, it's hard to believe. But it seems AIC helping out Inoue with the production for Jisariz, his original toku show, was what led to it.

I really feel Ankh will need to find a new OOO after Eiji. Whether some relative who's suitable to match Eiji's power or someone else similar to Eiji.

And the girl who Eiji saved before his death by the king's hands, will likely be the new successor's ally who shares how Eiji saved her life once and honors his memory.

I would say there's more of that because they don't go into more plot-dramatic parts and focus on the crime investigations almost until the very end.

Maybe Kiva? It's all about love. But in general, it seems to me that despite his unusualness, Hibiki is good enough to lure non-toku fans.
