I'm usually a big enthusiast about the Shinkocchou Seihou figures, but I think I'm cooling on them. First, it was one of the horns on Hibiki breaking after a short (low) shelf dive onto a carpet. Then it was the normal-sized scarf for W breaking.

Yesterday, I was posing Kabuto's arm - gently, not applying a lot of pressure or anything - and the plastic ring of his elbow joint snapped in half. I don't think I can realistically repair the joint with superglue without permanently losing the ability to ever use that joint again. It's making me less inclined to spend upwards of 60 dollars on a theoretically-high-end toy. Sadface.

The packaging is quite nice at least, makes me want to get a Gaim to keep MISB.

But the Faiz mold is beyond ancient at this point, the shots next to Grease are... not very flattering.

I should have Faiz coming next week. I hate rebuying a figure I already own but there was something wrong with the red painted over the silver on the helmet of mine that has always bugged the shit out of me.

Very unflattering. Also unfortunate because the accessories on Faiz are really good. (Although not quite as good as the original release; I didn't notice the phone in phone mode, f'rinstance.)

Once Shinkocchou Seihou OOO is announced, I think Faiz might be my next main-Rider priority. (Torn between it and Fourze, but I think Faiz is a little more dated given the absence of fitting holding-stuff hands.)

Say a preorder is set to begin on the first of the month. What time of day should I be on the lookout for preorders to begin if I'm in the Pacific Time Zone in the US?

Currently, at midnight. That's for AmiAmi anyway since they keep consistent times. HLJ is usually around the same time.

What are some Kamen Rider reveal predictions you guys have for the Tamashii Nations events coming up this weekend?


Obviously Kiva is going to make an appearance. I'm thinking we might see some combination of the following:

Ex-Aid Hyper Muteki
Evol (either Phase 1 or Blackhole)
Shinkocchou Seihou The Bee, Sasword and Drake (at least one of them, but I'm hoping they pull what they did with Hibiki's line and just show all of them off at once)
Build RabbitRabbit and TankTank
Shinkocchou Seihou G3-X (okay, this is more of a wishlist one than one that I think will actually happen)

I would say Shinkocchou Seihou OOO, but I don't know if they'd reveal him at the same time as Kiva. He might be later on for next year.

Genm Level X-0 is nice for the ones who missed out on the Zombie Gamer, and the bloody versions of Amazon Alpha and Omega are pretty good answers for people who want reissues of those as well.

Hyper Muteki and some form of Evol for sure.

I would want more Kabuto Riders but I'm not sure.

What I want to see most is more Shinkocchou Seihou Showa. It's cool that Heisei gets so much focus now, but just one new Showa figure would be cool. V3, Stronger, Super-1, whatever, just one.

I see that they found their target audience :D
