I would definitely rather have it this way than what they ended up pulling with Decade. But the fact he's Tamashii Nations exclusive is still a bit insane.

What really strikes me as especially odd about these exclusives is that none of them are brand new reveals. All of them were seen at a previous Tamashii Nations event.

These event exclusives tend to just be remolds/repaints of already existing figuarts so with Diend's suit being based off of Decade's own outfit this was bound to happen, especially when all that needs to be made are a new chest, shoulders and head.

True, but as Kurona said they tend to be alternate forms not outright main characters. It makes sense from the remoulding sense but it’s pretty unprecedented.

And here I was hoping we'd get Shinobi... but at least I don’t need to pay through the nose for an event exclusive, I don't need any of these.

A buddy gave me a great example of this...Figurise =average 4 seater Car from Ford, SH Figuarts =the Rolls Royce of 6 inch figures, get it while it's still less than 60.00,it's a cool figure MINUS the Weapons you get with the Bike...

Well, I'm going to wait for the Geiz Revive release.
I mean, I only bought the Zi-O Figure Rise because :
It was cheap and it's greatly detailed.
The figure rise is of better quality than I was expecting and has a little bit of weight.

I was planning to get Zi-O II and Geiz Revive at first since those were the two forms the Riders used the most when they unlocked said forms.

This is the way I'm going, yeah; if there's a figure-rise, I'm getting it instead of the figuarts unless it's a character/series that I REALLY love (ie seihou OOO).

In the case of Zi-O and Geiz, it's even easier to justify when the Figuarts have unpainted watches and don't even come with their friggin' weapons. As figures it would be difficult to say that they aren't better -- Figuarts just keep getting better at this whole Kamen Rider thing. But I just feel that in comparison to how much the Figure-Rises cover, I would end up disappointed.

But yeah, if you are getting that much out of the Figure-Rise, I would go for that. The big thing I would warn against about the Figure-Rises is that they have nowhere near as much heft as a normal action figure and that you really feel like you have to be careful when handling them. But if you feel that's not an issue, then yeah, go for Geiz. Especially since you have Zi-O already; Figure-Rise Geiz is gonna look better next to him than one from a different line.

So...hu, I think I will get the figure-rise for Geiz.



As you can see, Zi-O isn't finished yet, but I don't think he looks too bad with SS Decade and Lightning Collection White Ranger.

Of course, he will tower older releases such as Black RX and Black, but otherwise it should be just fine.

So...what do you think about this?

Yeah, it looks really bloody good! I find that you do have to be a bit creative to make sure the FRs don't appear taller - usually by using crouching, or the included stand for jumping and rider kicks - but I find they fit in very well with other figures otherwise.

Apparently DiEnd went up for pre-order on Toku Taku but it's now soñd out. Ugh getting this figure won't be easy

Has anyone got a size comparison between Seihou OOO and the original? I haven't been able to find one anywhere.

It's like night and day between the two. I probably won't get OOO renewal until Christmas since I can't afford toy collecting anymore.

Wow, that's... not as stark as I thought (in terms of height, anyway). I thought Seihou would dwarf the original...

That's really good news for me since I'm considering getting the original Birth and Proto Birth. Makes it that little bit easier to get all the OOO riders :D


Also, yeah, as said? Holy god this might just be the greatest Seihou-shits-on-the-original comparison yet. Bloody hell.

I wonder if we'll see the Foundation X Core Medals in a Toridevendor set or something. They're of course extremely minor, but they're easy repaints made out of tiny single parts that I could easily see them happening.

Would anybody recommend pre-ordering a Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen rider ooo Tatoba from gamestop?

My preorder's still standing with them when I checked. According to their computers though he's not due with them until Mid-October.

So I got Seihou OOO today.

First of all I wanna say that I kinda wish he came with more open hands, like the Agito one attached below. I almost feel gree(e)dy asking for more hands when he already comes with so many, but especially for the type of character Eiji is; a more relaxed pair of open hands (as opposed to the open 'clawed' ones he comes with) would add a lot to his posing. Those and an alternate mask with purple eyes would have done wonders.

Otherwise though? I bloody LOVE this figure, and I want to stress that those are the things that would rocket it up to nigh-perfect for me. I'm so, so happy to see my favourite Rider get the premium treatment he deserves and every detail and point of articulation is just immaculate. Beyond absolutely bizarre ones you'd have no reason to do - though even then, he tests the limits there - I've yet to really find a pose I can't get him into. This is a stupid good figure and I cannot wait for TaJaDor!

Hey, quick question about those Figuarts Ridewatch stands -- are you able to take them apart once fitted together, or are they locked in?

I'm trying to find out whether I can in theory, say, have a Fourze stand one day; but change it to Drive the next.

I don't quite understand the question. Do you mean if you can exchange the Rider image within the stand for another? If so then yes, they're hold together by simple pegs.

Or do you mean that you can remove a stage arm once inserted? If so then also yes, they have to since no arms are included with any of them.

I did mean the first one, yeah -- I didn't know if it was the type of friction where once you put the two pieces together they're practically impossible to pull apart. Thank you!

The normal version with no accessories bar some hands first; and then the glow-in-the-dark version as a set with the bike, weapons and phone.

I would love to have it be with the normal release Figuarts, but knowing Bandai, I doubt it especially since they're trying to go super cheap "entry" figuarts like what they've been doing with main rider Figuarts currently. Flourescent Zero-One Figuarts will probably be at one of their Tamashii Nations special release much like what they did with Unicorn Gundam.
