Yeah, we know... It's been available to add to cart for like 9 hours now on HLJ. I have not seen anyone say they've successfully checked out though.

Do totally regret staying up so late last night though ha. Woke up around 4:30 when my wife was leaving for work and managed to get Vulcan ordered on AmiAmi. Nippon-Yasan had just reopened orders too, but at higher prices and now with pay later no longer available. I just hate that practice of theirs... Can't pay upfront right now so had to pass on Den-O there. :/

So HLJ finally working (assuming it's not actually been sold out all this time) or Bluefin are where I've hedged my bets right now.

I understand Bandai dropping several desirable items at the same time doesn't help, but they've been in business for over a decade and should be prepared for this.

I've had Vulcan in my cart and can't press checkout for a bit. Hopefully I'm able to get him; if not then it's alright, but that price is very good.

Especially in AmiAmi's case, every new hot item drop is a pain in the ass trying to place an order because of their servers.


They really need to fix it. I can only imagine they're losing a lot of business by not sorting this stuff out.


EDIT: Also, I don't get how the "Exclusive" items are easier to get than the retail stuff nowadays.

Went to be bed expecting to see That Den O at hlj would be sold out. Hours later hlj is still messed up. Unbelievable.

I got mine from NY now... they have him available for 8500¥ currently (pay now only though) which is just below the MSRP, but about the same price as AmiAmi because their pre-order discount is shit.

Did anyone else notice this? They give you like a 400¥ discount... on an 8800 base price? They knew this would sell out in seconds.

Anyways, I’m still not happy with this situation, I basically paid 20 bucks extra because I need to ship this separately, but better than missing out entirely I guess. I really envy you American folks with Bluefin and GameStop and whatnot.

Thanks for the heads up that HLJ was working. As for getting HLJed, they screwed up big-time on the Drivers but let's hope the check-out problems limited that this time.

This wasn't on my radar at all. I managed to snag Vulcan from HLJ (the sword sold me on it; I'd only planned on Valkyrie as a secondary Rider), but Den-O long since sold out there and on AmiAmi. Seems like at this point, I'll have to hope BBTS gets Den-O in the way they did with OOO.

I had to go to bed due to lack of sleep, so naturally Den-O opens up and sells out afterwards. *sigh*

Looks like I have to hope for Amazon Japan if AJ becomes a seller, or Bluefin, if they get him.

My order for Vulcan got hit with the "best pre-order price" guarantee on Amazon Japan and dropped like 1000 yen, making it much cheaper than HLJ. That one feels pretty good, after all the frustration.

I'm afraid so. Unless you got an order confirmation mail and the order is showing up in your order history it didn't work.

Dammit. You know what? Screw this, I don't even like Den-O that much anyway. It baffled me that retail is harder to get than the web exclusive stuff nowadays.

I'm with you 100%. It is insane how crazy the pre-orders for OOO and Den-O went. It was never this bad before, I always got what I wanted just by being there when the orders opened.

I missed both OOO and Den-O. And with OOO I had the same thoughts you have about Den-O now. I realized I don’t like the suit enough to hunt down a pre-order or pay more than the MSRP. Den-O I liked enough to get, but this shouldn't happen to begin with.

I always smiled at people who were like "I prefer Web-Exclusives because I can pre-order them easier" but now I'm one of them. Even the recent price increases don’t bother me too much, the peace of mind to order this when I have the time is worth it IMO.

Also, crazy how a bunch of second-hand stuff is dirt cheap now. I just checked Amazon Japan, and they're selling SHF Kamen Rider Bravo for only 2520 Yen. And I found an SHF Psyga there for 4900 Yen rather than the insane amount of money you have to fork out to get him. And the well-praised SHF Abyss? 3917 Yen.

And this is only Amazon Japan.

Granted, these prices don't have shipping cost on them, but still!

I might as well buy the second hand stuff instead. A lot of them are pretty good, and for that value oh my goodness.

Buying second-hand is the best decision I've ever made when it comes to collecting these guys. Being patient pays off. We don't need these figures the moment they're released.
