Typical that the first lot of "electronic glide Daleks" is all re-releases :rolleyes I'll pick up Sec since the first 3.75" was a super rare variant, but I'll stick with my original versions of the other 3. KNEW Rusty would be getting a figure, that's a definite buy.

Nice to see that the black repaint of the Patrol ship is still happening, and the repaint that comes with it looks pretty fetching.

Hettie Macdonald, the director of Blink, is apparently involved in some way with filming block two. Logically, I would assume this means she's directing the episode(s) in that block, but I guess we'll have to wait to be sure.

I've heard some rumors that Weeping Angels may be back, but they're so unsubstantiated that it's probably just guesswork... Has the director done work on any other episode?

I hope they let the Angels rest for a while longer, though it's probably just me.

Macdonald hasn't done any other episodes of Who.

Same here, to do with the Angels. After Manhatten, I think they need to go home for a while and think about how to make a good episode, without any major plot holes.

Osgood probably won't appear since she's from the new series. Kate technically predates it thanks to the Reeltime direct-to-VHS films. I don't know all the rights issues, but I've heard that Big Finish has no access to any characters from the '05 series.

Big Finish announced it as "the first Big Finish release from the 2005 revival of Doctor Who" and "...in a licensing deal with BBC Worldwide" so that clearly isn't the case here.

Oh, I'm going to be getting that Six one... UNIT, not so much, but it's cool that it's the first series from the 2005 things to be getting made :)
