I've been playing Wind waker HD today.
I ended up taking this picture.https://d3esbfg30x759i.cloudfront.ne...zSFCqts1f2PuIi |

The main story was always something I did when I got bored of the other side quests. |

The rubberbanding in Fifa 12 is some of the most infuriating gameplay I've ever had to suffer through. You can have fantastic, ridiculous, leads and watch it vanish in an instant as the game breaks to catch up. I know that just sounds sour, but I even found an official statement from one of the devs in EA who said they had to put "scripting" in the game because the AI is too stupid to be competitive against a human. Fucking bullshit.
|
So i started off Professor Layton and the unwound future, the final chapter in the series.
|
I have been playing HyperDimension Neptunia V Victory and I am really injoying the game play of it and the hole it gamer based type game with some hints of referances of other video games

I liked Skyrim's main story. But I felt it did wind down pretty fast after it started heating up.
Elder Scrolls stories have never been that crazy awesome, but recent ones force you to take up the main quest too much. Without doing at least some of Skyrim's missions, for example, you can't have dragon encounters. That means to get the full-experience of the gameplay you must at least embark on the main quest. In Morrowind the freedom was such that there was absolutely no need to do the main quest at all. Heck, with a good enough lockpicking and combat skill you could waltz right up to the final boss and take him out, bypassing the story entirely. |

Either way, it's a great way to level up if you're lazy. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TH7Zqd3P7Yc |
I played my best round in Titanfall yet :lol
Best thing was when I shot one guy and he respawned pretty much right behind me so I could shoot him again :lol |
I kinda find myself bored with current console games... I fairly enjoy my apps game like Infinity Blade for the iphone, and Transformers Legends.
|
So I started playing Child of Light and its really quite something. Ubisoft crafted a nice little JRPG style game. The Story is nothing too spectacular yet and the game is not very complex but if looks really stunning. The world is beautifully realised and the whole design of the world just gives me this warm feeling. The painted look of the game makes it feel like one of those old fairytale books I had as a kid.

Its pretty good so far. Its not very hard or complex (this may change the further I get) but it has great atmosphere to it.

Playing GTAV so I can take a needed break from Skyrim. Enjoying the Hipster update, the Blade's a great old muscle car. And I like giving those to Micheal. I think later though I might start a new round of Xenogears.

Been playing lots of FTL, this is probably the only game in recent years that can repeatedly torture me with failure and keep bringing me back for more. |

We still need someone to create a crew for the site... just saying. :p Anyway, I'm enjoying the Buffalo S they added for online, nice upgrade over my original one. I do wish they would add some different weapons in their updates. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the variety we've gotten so far but I would like something a bit more unique later on, like a revolver. But that's just me, and I can't really complain when everything is free. |

It sounds like such first world problems, but man the constant PS3 updates border on infuriating for me. I work for a living, and if I have to update my PS3 like every time I use it and it takes half an hour - that is a LOT of time for me. I can only fit maybe eleven or twelve hours of gaming in a week and if four hours of that is updates, fuck man.

Now with a next gen version, the Updatestation 4. |
PS3 updating a lot doesn't bother me, the uselessness of the updates bother me. The last one was to add CC functionality to Blue-Rays.
Does anyone else save specific cars for specific characters in GTAV? Franklin gets the Tuners and Sports cars, and things like luxery SUVs. Micheal gets the classic cars, muscle cars, and such. And Trevor I save all the odd cars. Like that new one that looks like an AMC Pacer. |
Been experimenting a lot more on Fifa mainly through trying unconventional formations coupling that with "interesting" tactics within those formations and giving my youth squad time on the pitch regardless of their stats. The results... are most disastrous, to be fair, although I've found some hidden gems in my youth players despite middling stats.
The game has an awesome amount of depth and gives a huge amount of control to the gamer who can customise the smallest of details. Honestly if it wasn't for the rubberbanding shit I'd argue it's one of the best games I've ever played - at least I can say that even if you aren't a football fan this game has LOADS to offer. |
Picture this, two players with they're hit points on red, throwing each other off the stage but neither refusing to die while fighting for the smash ball, that was my experience in Brawl earlier.
Other than that i'm just sitting here waiting for my brother to give me the Wii U so i can go back to Wing waker. |
Played another round Child of Light and I´m liking it more and more. The Story is still not that spectacular but its charming as all hell :lol
The Characters are not deep or anything but it all works together so well. Like I said earlier everything feels like an old school fairy tale. The Combat has gotten surprisingly complex and I´m liking that. |
All right, so I finished Watch_Dogs today and this review may contain some spoilers, so be wary. I'm going to avoid as much as possible though.
Positives: +The stealth aspects of the game are fantastic. It is simply so much fun to take out as many bad guys in an area as you can via watching them through the camera more than just going into the area and shooting things up. This is the game's strongest aspect. +Jordi is hands down the best character in the game. He is funny, has great stories, and is all around a badass. He is the character Aiden should have been as he is the only one that is actually likable. +There are some really great missions throughout the game. The missions where you have to guide people through an area without getting caught was really fun and thought provoking. It definitely took away from doing the same type of missions over and it was used sparingly so that it wasn't tiresome. +A lot of the side missions are great, especially the Convoy and Hideout ones. The hideout at the bridge in Pawnee is by far my favorite of them all. +There are a lot of weapons to choose from (although, too many at times) and a good selection of cars. +The story is pretty good as a whole. +The city and its people are alive. It is funny watching two women talk to each other for getting into a car accident. +Hacking. +Spider-Tank, nuff said. Negatives: -Aiden is one of the most uninteresting and boring protagonists in gaming history. He makes Connor in ACIII look good. -Driving feels like the cars are on ice to the point that it is pretty much like driving in the PS2 GTA games. -Invisible walls spread throughout the city, making it impossible to get to some rooftops to just enjoy the view of the landscape the developers have finely crafted. -There is simply nothing to do with your money. Yes, there are guns, ammo, cars, and clothing to buy, but at the end of the game, I had $973,000. -Too much repetition. There is no reason for there to be 40 required Fixer Missions when there are only four types of Fixer missions. This game could have really used some assassination type missions or something that didn't require blowing people up while in a car. -Online requirements to 100% the game. I refuse to 100% the game because of this. There is simply inexcusable to force people to play online just to entirely complete the single player experience. -Minigames are more annoying than fun. If you want to know what annoying and boredom feel like, play the drinking game. After one round you will be annoyed that you have to go through that 29 more times. -There are no rewards for your choice. Not killing anyone has no barring on the story for killing someone. -The game has one of the worst, most laziest boss battles in the history of gaming. If you thought the boss battles in Deus Ex Human Revolution were bad, you haven't seen anything until you play this one. Not to mention the boss is a freaking sponge and he doesn't even have any armor on. -The lack of being able to customize weapons and cars. -Graphics look barely better than GTAV on the PS3. There are no shadows when standing in front of the headlights on cars, no ripples in the water when you shoot it. -No helicopters or anything to fly in and look at the city from the sky. -No missions that have you sneaking onto a boat or even missions that have some type of boat chase. Overall, for a brand new IP, Watch_Dogs is not bad. It has some really great moments in it, excellent stealth mechanics, but it is very repetitive and most of the cast is unlikable, especially the main character. Hacking is fun, the gun play mechanics are standard, but the driving mechanics need to go. It is just not fun to drive and the driving is one of the reasons why the Fixer missions are annoying. It's a game that will hopefully improve a lot in its sequel provided Ubisoft actually takes their time with it and does not rush it out in a year. The story as a whole was good, there were some incredible missions, but the experienced was soured by dumb mechanics (like the online requirements) that could have been avoided all together. I give Watch_Dogs a 7/10, and while it is a good game, it is probably not one I will find myself ever replaying again. |
My cousin is rather hooked on Angry Birds Epic, on the other hand he doesn't understand RPGs very well... hilarity ensues. :lol
-Buff your party. -Do my what? -Buff your party. -What!? -That thing where they glow and become stronger. -Ahhhh.... What's my party? -TAP THE FRIGGING BIRDS!!! |

Fifa 12. Dunno whether it's because we're coming to the end of the season and my players are just worn out but SO. MANY. INJURIES. Holy fucking shit, it's like I can't even survive a training session without a player falling to bits. Luckily it seems like we might actually be getting promoted by the end of this season!

After days of grinding in Conception 2 i went back to fight the boss i was stuck in.
Got him down to half health... He still killed me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5VGZebsmEA |
Child of Light is getting better and better the more I play it. The Combat has gotten more complex overall and now that I have more party members with completely unique abiltys it makes for great strategies. You really have to use each characters abilities at the right time during a fight to not get your asses kicked :lol
The overall art design and incredibly imaginitive world are still the strengths of this game. I was floored when I climbed the top of a mountain just to realize that it wasnt a mountain but an actual giant that was carrying an entire city on its back :lol Those 15 bucks were well spend on this game and I love playing it. |
Well, I had some money kicking around so I finally decided to pick up Persona 3 Portable via PSN, to refresh myself for when Persona Q comes out. Choose the female protagonist of course.
I just started the game, but I think it's kind of a bummer that they took away the freedom of moving around, the way Portable is laid out reminds me more of a visual novel. Can't tell you if that's a good thing or bad thing yet, as I'm in the early stages of the game. |
