At the same time I finally got dynasty warriors reborn it has so fare five main story mobile suit gundam 0079 zeta and chair counter attack with unicorn and both seed seasons. though I loved the other three and the fact the other had the ocean production cast of the anime it same they just kept reborn with the japanese only track. At the same time if remember corrscy char original VA passed away so they had to recast him for this game

That same old magic with build fighters try, love the G-Gundam reference with the picture. Action was solid as usual. Now to find G-Reco.

About to watch Try myself and I am massively excited for it!

I did however already see the first two episodes of Reconquista and man am I not sold on this show. The G-Self is a great design, the opening theme absolutely rocks too. So far that's about all the praise I have though :( The characters are very bland and one-dimensional as are their designs. I can't stand these Eureka 7 style character designs as is, but the animation feels so stilted and lacks fluidity. I'm just not impressed so far with Reconquista. From bland characters to a plot that so far doesn't feel very original, I'm sad to see Tomino has lost his wild sense of creativity that flourished with Turn A. It's gonna need to do a lot in the next few episodes for me to get interested.

I like the Eureka 7 character designs in Eureka 7. But somehow, despite G-reco coming out 8 or 9 years later then Eureka 7, Eureka 7 ' s animation is still far better.

It's soooo good to have Build Fighters back, I absolutely loved the first episode.

Sekai seems like a good mix between Reiji and Sei's quaities. The G-Gundam refferences were glorious.

I do wonder what the deal with the Build Burnning Gundam was though.

I really like the scratchy outlines and animation style used for G-Reco. It looks really fluid and helps it stand out from all the generic mecha shows there are these days.

Just saw BF Try ep. 1, and that was great. The Lightning Gundam looks awesome, and the appearance of the Burning Gundam was so over the top that I can tell that's it's a G Gundam reference without even having seen the show. I personally thought it was a bit TOO over the top, but it is a good explanation as to how someone with no Gunpla experience would end up with a gundam that wasn't crap.

Yeah, though they came out about 20 years after the show. Whereas the Mobile Suit Gundam theatrical films followed up relatively soon after the series. The Zeta movies are collectively called A New Translation.

Excellent adaptations of an already incredible series. Though they retcon the ending of the series for some reason leaving things weirdly open ended. When Tomino did these films he was more or less trying to reverse some of the decisions he made when originally creating Zeta Gundam. At the time he was suffering from some of the worst depression of his career and the characters suffered for it, but it created a great story too. The show is very dark and most of the cast don't survive. But the movies give it a more positive outlook that I'm not entirely a fan of as it invalidates ZZ.

Well I don't care for ZZ in the first place...

Can I start BF Try with out watching Season 1? I'll eventually watch BF season 1, but I would also like to watch something Gundam related during the Fall season since G Reco isn't doing it for me as I hoped.

yea i understand that i been meaning to watching them due to how hard it is to fin them on DVD now i had resort to downloading them and i only found the original gundam series trilogy in DL formate. any way can some one as well give me a clear list of the Universal centry universe time line of gundam cause i want to watch them first before i see any of the Ac ones. i seen 0079 and zeta i just want 2 know the rest.

We're getting an RG Wing Zero and that's good enough IMO, Real Grades are fantastic.

Turn A is the peak of the UC timeline. G Gundam, Gundam Wing, and After War Gundam X took place in between Victory & Turn A. They ere technically AU series but Tomino wrote them in as previous human histories that had been forgotten in Turn A.

It is. But as something that's currently ongoing and still very early, it will in no way inform one's opinion of the rest of the UC timeline. But yes it is a prequel of sorts to Turn A, or at least that's been stated by Tomino.

Two nice things I liked about the first episode of Try.

1. Sekai saying "I can heard this suits loud roar.." before he even realizes it's the Burning. Pretty sure a certain G Gundam main character uses the phrase "loud roar" before he finishes a guy off too.

2. The guy who awarded Yuuma the trophy at the World Cup for Gunpla Building. Pretty sure it was Tatsuya

Finally sat down and watched G-Reco and it has, unfortunately, been overshadowed by the return of Build Fighters. So far the story is standard Gundam fare (all two episodes) and I agree that the animation for the characters ended up feeling a tad dated. The Grimoire, however, stole the second episode away from the G-Self. I'm sold on it and am looking forward to purchasing it's kit.

Hot damn! Finally got to watch BF Try and loved it! Sekai seems like an incredible successor to Reiji, honestly it sounds like they even got a pretty great sound alike voice actor whose quite similar to him.

Burnings' unique reveal was great stuff. At first I was all like, the fuck does he want with that Dom :lol and then boom comes the dynamite with that reveal! Really loving Fumina too. She's just a great fun character, and it's so damn refreshing to have the story framed around a female lead.

A kit, inside a kit, inside a trophy, Sei made sure to keep it safe. :lol

Yes, Fumina is simply great, she might not get the lead suit, but she's undeniably the one moving the story.
