I'd kinda want Kaito to become an Overlord selfishly. Kaito's development into a hero is really, really enjoyable but it seems way too obvious for his final act to be a selfless one because that is how all these arcs end.

I'd much rather he, because it'd be so fitting for his character in my opinion and would break the conventions of the arc, eats the fruit because he sees how powerful Micchy becomes and realises he's hopelessly outgunned, surpassed by Kouta, by the Overlords....by everyone... and takes a bite of the forbidden fruit at a final, desperate, selfish grab at being the strongest piece on the board.

Then Kouta uses Kiwami to its fullest power and just deystroys, Kaito and Micchy.

Exactly, Kouta still goes in the same direction just with a less obvious catalyst.

So Miichi gets an upgrade that cuts his lifespan in half….he's literally Yagami Light at this point.

That makes Mai Misa Misa, that Overlord Micchy's conspiring with Ryuk, and Kouta into L?

Only problem is Kouta isn't smart enough to be L…not even close:lol

And I've yet to see him sit on the back of a chair in his bear feet while chewing his thumbnail.

So I just watched the RAW of ep 39 and something struck me. Ryoma was scanning Kiwami Arms. What if he creates a similar key/seed and gives it to Micchi.

That would explain where Micchi gets the new from from.

Love love that new form for Michi. The colors remind me of Zeronos Zero Form, but they look so deliciously evil here.

What if Kaito's infection is slowly turning him into a plant, so Kaito decides to take the fruit and become an Invess or Overlord to avoid that process?

I honestly didn't see this coming. Kinda cool that he's getting a new form (well, a rumored form, at least).

It actually reads "L.S.-Yomi" on the front, that's pretty cool.

Also, I just remembered, the Budou lockseed had these other two buttons on the side that did nothing so far, Yomotsu Heguri has these as well, maybe they get unlocked and he uses these buttons to summon his weapons? One for his arms weapons, the other for the Overlord weapons.

As I recall, Mango has the same design. It'd be an interesting application, it'd just bring up a few more questions.

It's the opposite actually, Ryugen will make a comeback with this new arms. Currently Micchy is Zangetsu Shin.

I think he will use his original Sengoku Driver so if you consider that a prototype, then yes.

dunno why they missed a trick with that design and it could work in the small scale in to today's world of techs. and have them like mini instrument you play due to the 3 buttons on the side but nope

My analysis of Micchy/Ryugen and why he's basically now the enemy along with parallels.

Ryugen is the only Rider with a Chinese theme, right? That sets him apart from the other Riders, leading him to be alone.

Why does he resent Kouta so much? Cause Kouta came back into Team Gaim and received the attention of Mai. Back in 1894 and in 1937, China and Japan were at war with Japan invading China. Kouta basically invaded Micchy's happiness. He resents Kouta for not obeying his orders. Ryugen is based off a Chinese Soldier, which is part of an army, and therefore demands discipline. Gaim is based off a Samurai, who could either serve a lord or be his own warrior. But now with Gaim taking on Kiwami as his power, whose appearance is based on a shogun/daimyo, he's his own authoritative figure to challenge Micchy's reign.

Micchy's original Lock Seed is Budou (Grape). This can be associated with Wine, which is usually a drink of the upper class, which Micchy is. They can also become sour, which, well, he has become. The reveal of his new form is similar to a raisin; he's being exposed to something that will leave him dry. Grapes also grow on vines. How do the Premature Lock Seeds spread throughout the city?

If Michy dies, Ryugen is no more.

So how will Ryugen join the final battle against the Inves?

Well I already know how will be the crossover between Gaim and Drive, micchy of some unknow way will be revived, in the final battle of the movie he will give Kouta the Yomotsu Heguri Lockseed and kouta will create a new form with that lockseed and the Kiwami Lockseded

I agreed with you when you said this in the CAH chat and I still agree with you now. If Urobuchi actually planned it like that then he is one of the smartest and best writers I know in the realms of toku (because I know him as a smart cookie overall for good old Saya no Uta).

Redue has two invess fruits hanging from her staff. Can't tell exactly, but when MIcchy uses it in the scans, it looks to have one invess fruit hanging from it.

Could be wrong but it's a thought.

I'm wondering if somehow, due to their similar DNA as siblings, Takatora will come back as Ryugen and trump Micchy. Or maybe appear to him as a hallucination or something.

It might make sense, with the whole "food of the dead" thing, since Takatora would have avoided death twice if he does come back again. Either way, this looks like it's gonna be entertaining.

I am the only one who expected another big reveal about the civilization the forest controls? Like they were alternate counterparts of the Zawame people? Once it was announced that Redyue was female, it threw that theory out the window.

I don't know, it felt like the show hinted at it a little bit, with Deemushu and Reduye being similar to Baron and Ryugen, the silhouette of Redyue's bride looking sort of like Yoko, the complete absence of people the first time they went there kind of like leaving it open for a later reveal, I don't know it all felt strange.

I think giving the main 4 riders Overlord counterparts, enforces the idea that they're no different than them, they fought in the same way and their world went to ruin. Also it shows that there is no real villain in the story. Except for maybe Sagara, but we'll see how that will play out.
