If you rented Thor 2, make sure you watch All Hail the King on the bonus features. It makes Iron Man 3 so much better.

What's everyone's thoughts on the Marvel Legends line? I pick up Spider-Man 2099 today at Target and I really like it. I haven't bought a Marvel toy in years and I do plan to pick up more from the line.

This is my collection, http://s1366.photobucket.com/user/Dr...ideshow/Marvel. It may not look like much, but I have only been collecting the Legends line for two weeks now. |

Visuals are quite good. If it hadn't missed the mark pretty much everywhere else I might have had hope for this film.
Reed looks about 12 years old. |

But I am curious what in these trailer misses the mark for you. This story presented in the trailers is as close to FF as it gets. |

Doom looks like hes gonna be a real menace, the Negative Zone, the relationship between Ben and Reed, good comedy scenes and the classic FF trope of them struggling with their powers. |

Plus none of the Doom stuff sounds good at all. |

The Family aspect is still very present in the Ultimate FF so that should still be in here. |

First off. *clears throat and then fangirl squeal* And its interesting to actually see Mr. Storm. Nuff said. Quote:

Yeah my expectations arent high either but I'm optimistic. Looking only and stuff from the movie itself made me more excited. And the last I wanna see is a third awful FF movie. |
I admit I have gone from "hate with a burning passion" (based off of some of the ludicrous stuff like Doom is just an angry blogger) to "meh okay I'm pretty ambivalent but would consider seeing it" after the trailer. And even just seeing Thing. Couple of my friends are too.
Although Doom does look a little odd to me. |

Plus, Johnny is black. He is supposed to be white like his sister. |
Kain, they are doing quite a few racial swaps these days. Sue is the adopted sister/daughter. Just go with the flow.

because race swapping a pre-existing character is easier than making an original character that's also likeable.
you can get mad at me all you want on this, but I think race swapping under any circumstance is disgusting and should never be accepted. ever. |
|
let's talk about good Marvel stuff going on.
how about that Falcon becoming Captain America? kudos. I love it. Falcon is already a cool character and he definitely is one of the heroes who deserves to take up the mantle of Captain America. I still want one of the two heroes for hire to take up the role... |
I know you want to change it to a happier subject, but I want to say just this one thing.
If they didn't do racial swaps, we wouldn't have Samuel L Jackson playing Nick Fury. And I think he's the best man for the job. |
I don't mind because that Nick Fury comes from an alternate dimension.
that's fine. I'm okay with things like that. |
*Walks in.*
*Sees discussion on race.* *Feels social-political passion rising within.* *Walks out before receiving infraction.* |

I don't care if they want to change the super hero's race. That is cool. A black Batman is awesome, as long as he is not Bruce Wayne. A female Cyborg would be cool too, as long as she is not named Vic Stone. |
Alright every one of you engaging in the race talk can stop, now.
This is dangerous territory that's already skirting breaking the rules. Stop now before infractions are indeed handed out. |

Plus Loki genderbends at-least twice. Not touching the race stuff with a 10 ft pole. |

What was that instant noodle thing you recommended back during Ramadan? |
Quote:
D: what was I thinking? |

Which Kamala Khan should totally eat. Because that's just something you do as a Pakistani American. Also, Ramadan arc. That should be a thing. We've had enough Christmas specials. Let's go for Ramadan and BOTH Eids! |

If not, the Hulk is out there somewhere, laughing. |
I miss the Thing's costume being a practical effect.
I know people prefer the CG, but.... practical effects are nice... |

Anyway, I picked up this wire stuff at Michael's a little bit ago to make webbing for Spider-Man. http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...pskta1jt29.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...psajmc2utk.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...psoli4irmt.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...pspniah80v.jpg |
I don't recall Sleipnir being one of Loki's children. And according to myth, Fenrir, Jorgmundr (I know I just murdered that name), and Hel, were all born by Angurboda (murdered that name too). And she is a Giantess I believe, a humanoid being.

Sleipnir is the child of Loki and Svaolifari.
