mine was accel, it was $20 so i bought it, then i saw the show and hated the character.... still an awesome design

Accel was pretty good in W. I think overall I like him much more than W. But That's mainly in retrospective.

My big rule with Figuarts(or any import line in general) is only buy from shows I've watch/games I've played.

Terui did have a great character arc. He came in thinking that Fuuto was a corrupt city of no worth and in the final episode stood up to Wakana because he wouldn't let her harm the city he loves. And then there is his story with Weather. He wanted revenge, but he saw that wasn't the way twice. When he took down Isaki finally, it was on terms that weren't about revenge(suck it asshole on TVTropes that said he was a Sasuke Uchiha expy, Terui is the anti-Sasuke).

I had that rule, until I found Agito Storm for for a good price. :D

BTW boys, if you have Kamen Rider Skull Crystal, is there any reason to get regular Skull? Does Skull Crystal also have the regular Skull head?

Yes, it has both heads. The only reason I can think of to get the first one is if you prefer the glossy-ish black of the costume, instead of the matte.
or possibly because it might be somewhat cheaper, being less desirable.

They're pretty much identical to me. Its why I went with Crystal.

Unless you reeeeeeally want your Skull to be all glossy and don't care for the matte finish of Crystal (I rather like it though), just get Crystal. Ignore regular Skull altogether then.

I started with Luffy. Theeen just splurged and got the other 3 One Piece guys. Then though to myself "screw this, I want a Kamen Rider." So Kiva Emperor it was, being the show I was watching at the time, and yeah... Haven't looked lost interest yet and still want tons more.

What? Villains are the main attraction. They are the reason these shows exist. Without them, we would just have some lunatic driving a motor cycle with goofy armor.

I opened up Meteor, and he's great. He has less waist poseablility than Fourze, but more upper ab articulation than him, he comes packaged with plastic in his waist, so you have to pop him apart to get rid of it, and I had to do it twice since the fist time I put the Meteordriver upside down. He has the ankle joints that Fourze has, but I can't tell if they're die cast or not. His right arm is a bit hindered by his shoulder pad, and Meteor Storm is going to be worse since he has it on both sides. I won't be getting Meteor Storm, so I guess it doesn't matter. Accessory count is really good, he comes with 4 pairs of hands plus another hand and the Hulashake is cool too, though he can't hold it. The details are all really nice, he's very show accurate, my only complaint is that if you look under this shoulder pad sash thing, you can see some translucent plastic, but other than that he's perfect. Highly recommended.

And they're for some people. But with the majority of them being exclusive in some form or another, I'd rather spend that money else where. Like the afore-mentioned bikes.

(Yes, they have those for SH Figuarts :p)

Villain toys historically don't sell in Japan. Kids want the hero, not the bad guy. Even in collector lines they rarely show up and, when they do, they tend to be limited release (or statues, like with all the Figuart Zero Dopants from W).

Shadow Moon isn't exclusive, neither were a lot of dark/evil Riders :3

Blue Buster is an exclusive for January. I wonder if that's down to poor sales of the non-Reds or because he comes with Gorisaki. Either way, collecting these teams is getting to be too expensive..

Gotten Sword form today and I love it. The effect part is cool but seems really fragile as hell. Definitely a nice added bonus but likewise to all effect parts, not gonna be in my display.

Trust me, I'll know your feelings once they start on a Gekiranger line.

Kurojishi Lio isn't looking to get a mass release. Coupled with his follower Mele, who also has the negative of being a female character.

At 3675 yen, he's not expensive enough to include Gorisaki.

Arg...That means more then likely Jin and J are exclusives too. I am thinking I might just get red, beet & stag. The rent is too damn high!

Yeah, I loved all the characters in Gekiranger a lot, with the exception of Chopper. I'm thinking I'll stick with just the reds and extra's now (and I'd count Violet as one) but I need Lio and Mele too and they're definitely going to be exclusives.

Oh well, I hope Stag and Beet are at least regulars.

Beet Buster will probably be Mass Release, at least. Although it's still disappointing that Blue Buster is exclusive.

In other news, Tamashii Nations exclusives! Fourze Effects Parts Set and Den-O Cho Climax Form!

(Also, Module Set 5 is a TW Exclusive in January as well, no list of what Modules, though.)

I like those Fourze effects parts. I'll have to get those one day. As for Cho Climax and Blue Buster's status, DAFUQ!?. So let me get this straight, we are getting a movie exclusive power up at retail, and we are getting a team member from the ongoing show as exclusive. Did Bandai step into Bizarro World or something? I swear, if Beet and Stag are exclusives too I'm going going to throw up my hands in air and not even bother to Mandarake them.

Back when Climax Form came out I always said the Wings should have been included as a first run bonus. But I was completely fine with buying a whole new figure if necessary. Now I can be even happier that not only is it its own figure but it has a Tamashii Stage as well. Couldn't be more pleased by that!

As for Blue Buster he is the one I've wanted the most/at all out of the busters. I was hoping for a 2-pack with Gorisaki but ill buy those 2 seperately. Now im just looking forward to the Beet/Stag reveals.

On the topic of blue being exclusive I think it has ALOT to do with the poor ratings Gobuster is suffering from. Reds are easy to sell, always have been and always will be. The other colors though? I can see why they're exclusive for a show that isn't popular. Better to appeal to a select market willing to spend the money than to try to appeal to a wide market and not sell many of them.

By the time blue comes out the new sentai series will have started. I am hoping that it blows me away so much that I am content to just have red, Jin & j. It would also help if the zyurangers are announced also.

They've got NO problem making a ton of Fourze accessory packs and effects part kits.

But they can't do the same for Super Climax?!

I want those freakin wings. But I already have Climax. So there's no way I'm buying a completely separate Super Climax.

Really, the only thing that would convince me to get Super Climax without a doubt would be if they included the expanded wings too.

I didn't like him because his introduction was garbage compared to GekiViolet's. He shows up in town and Shafu is all "He's the new member who I never hinted at or ever talked about. Get along with him." His power to turn Geki into a blade is rarely used (He only ever does it without the saiblade once), and he was just constantly thrown at us.

I Just came back from a shop downtown that sells mostly Gundam models and other modelling supplies. They just got in a couple figuarts, a couple of Fourze Forms and a V3...now here's the insane thing:

They're expecting people would shell out 69.99 for them! Bloody outrageous!

Here's the thing though: there's other stores in the area that carry figuarts like this one, but they're no were near as inflated...I'd like to meet whomever does the pricing at the store, cause that's just in sane.

It seems like Super Climax and the Effects Set are Tamashii Nations exclusives, not mass releases.
