Hearing about the difficulties with preordering a PS5 and being eerily reminded of what it’s like trying to preorder an SHF Kamen Rider

I'm ashamed to admit that I forgot that Yahoo Auctions existed until you brought it up Jello.

So my new job might be fast tracked to full time. Their recently hired full time designer got fired.
|
I hope you get the full time position!

I had a toku-related dream, about a non-existent Sentai. From what I remember, it featured a mixed race (half-Japanese) female red ranger called Valentina (though she wasn’t the leader). The series also had English DVD releases.

Just to make your life easier 変身ベルト ゲーマドライバー That's the Japanese for Gamer Driver. Feel free to add a "DX" to the front or back to widdle down the search. |
So I heard that Nintendo is discontinuing all 3DS/DS consoles, leaving the Switch Lite the only exclusively handheld console device. Now I am new to gaming so I have no nostalgic dog in this race, but I do feel for those who may be upset by the news.
What doesn't make sense to me is those who claim that this is the end of hand held games. No it's not. We have the Switch and the Switch Lite. The Switch is essentially a handheld console that you can switch to your television. Hence the name "Switch." And the Switch Lite is essentially a one screen DS with Wii U aesthetics. I know it's a "newer" video game experience compared to the DS, much like how the DS was a "newer" experience to the Game Boy consoles, but they're all functionally similar. For those who will miss the 3DS family for the games I understand being upset. But I'm sure those older games will be released digitally for the Switch. But understand that it makes sense for Nintendo to focus on functionally similar newer product that's selling like hotcakes compared to the older on-the-go consoles. And anyone that says "this is the end of handheld games" are just fear mongering. |

Oh no! I cant get ALMIGHTY out of my head!
Everytime I want to read a book all I can process is "THE SABER IN YOUR HAAAAAAAAAND..." |

Then again, The World Ends With You came to Switch. |
I think it would be interesting if Bandai revived the WonderSwan with an updated version now that the handheld gaming market has shrunken down to just the Switch.

Caught up on Saber today, and also the OP wormed its way into my noggin.
aLMIGHTEE-! Work still sucks. |
I played Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth today. I'm enjoying it. Though it would like it better if it was more focused on the Digimon and was loosely based on a season.

The new Hot Rod figure from Studio Series got leaked and it’s so amazing that it’s the second transformer I’ve wanted to get in a long, long time. Got a few niggles but it just blew my expectations at every aspect.
(The first transformer i wanted to get in a long time was black roritchi, because transformers king joe) |
Meanwhile I'm still waiting for Hasbro and/or Takara Tomy to remember Armada Hot Shot exists.

Well, shit, now I know! They definitely seem to aiming for Masterpiece Before Playing With It Was Something You'd Have To Schedule, which I am totally down for. (That Masterpiece Hound can go straight to hell.) A Voyager price-point Hot Rod with that level of accuracy and polish? That actually improves on elements of the Masterpiece figure? Sign me up! |
Waaaaaaaaaaiiiit they made my boy?
Er wait, is it the Bayverse version? |

I’m quite excited to see their Dinobots now too, gotta say! If they make an even better Swoop than PotP...

Hasbro: "We love all our series equally! G1... Beast Smores... Oh yeah, the movie! Live action? No, we meen animated. Anime series? We did an anime? And a whole series called "Animated"? This all sounds very fake."

It's the same for Beast Wars, which is finally getting a moment in the sun next year. (I remember being at a BotCon just before a big Beast War anniversary, and when asked if Hasbro would be doing anything to celebrate it, fans were told that they should import the Takara Tomy Masterpiece figures that were about to be released.) Akiba mentioned Animated, which probably has some folks who'd love to get those designs out in the market again. (Or maybe just get a shot at some of the Japan-only figures.) Transformers Prime looks to be getting some attention for its 10th anniversary, if leaks of a Breakdown/Jet Vehicon 2-pack are any indication. Anyway, yeah, there are probably a lot of fans who came into the franchise through the Unicron Trilogy and would love it if Hasbro acknowledged those characters. |
Hi everyone, I hope you're all well. I'm resisting the urge to buy things for myself so that's good.
