Love the color palate for Blades' final form
|
Blades reminds me a lot of True Brave.
|
so i guess maybe blades' final form has powers over ice, considering all the white and light blue?
|
That sword the new Rider is holding doesn’t seem to match the new sword from the preview for the next Episode. It doesn’t have a handguard, but the sword that rider is holding does.
It kind of looks like a repaint/resold of King Excalibur? |
So something I just noticed, the cape Rider everyone is rushing down seems to be using a repainted Kingexcalibur.
Curious to see if King of Arthur is coming back into play as a result. |

I'm guessing probably Master Logos corrupts the book or makes an entirely new book out of it? Either way, if it's related to King Of Arthur, it's great to see it get some actual recognition again since it's definitely a special WRB. |

http://media.discordapp.net/attachme...408/image0.png The next Rider. His sword turns into a Trident. Additionally, Crane Joe lists ‘Mane Ice Beast Senki’ for release in April. |
Hm. Really not a fan of that helmet. Rest of the suit looks alright, though something about it isn't quite clicking for me
|
Not a fan of the helmet too.
Even if I don't think that's his theme, I have a big "shark" feeling from the suit. and this I like a lot. |
He's definitely got a shark motif. I love it. I always thought that Seiken looked a bit weird...it makes sense that there's some kind of gimmick to extend it, even if magically so. However, how's the DX version going to handle it? A separate piece that attaches onto it? I'm guessing his weapon actually has two modes, and the trident is just one of them.
Love that he's got a lot of black, too. That's a good sign for the RKF release. That being said, this guy doesn't scream "final boss" to me at all, despite wielding our presumably final Seiken in the series. I'm guessing our real final boss will be a kaijin, or they'll find a way to create another Seiken. |
This dude looks sick
|
Poseidon?!
|
Super cool, but if Blades is water lion, does this mean he is a... Maybe a wind shark? Perhaps tornadoes? A sharknado???
|
Someone pointed out that his weapon has red and blue sections on it. They've come to the conclusion that his element may be magnetism.
|
Huh, so after looking at the Seiken itself in the preview for episode 28, and comparing it to what we see here, the transformation is actually kind of neat. If you look at the Seiken in its default state, you'll notice the trident is actually hidden inside the Seiken itself. Note that the Seiken, by default, has blue lines that become red as you go further down the blade. But after transforming, it's the opposite.
It seems that after inserting a Wonder Ride Book, the trident simply just spins and unfolds, revealing itself. In the show, it'll probably just magically grow way bigger, but that is for sure how the gimmick works. |
Well that's freaking awesome. A black-armored shark with a trident-sword. Can't wait to see this guy in action.

Well we’ve seen a Twelfth Rider wielding a black version of the King Excalibur, so I’d say he’s probably our big bad.

On an unrelated note, I do like the trident mode gimmick on account of it very clearly being a full sized pole arm. When was the last time we got one of those aside from the Zikan DeSpear? |
See I think this works as the last one because really, all the Swordsman of the Seiken were really all equals. The only two that really got special treatment were Kurayami and Saikou.
So seeing him as our last Seiken Rider works. Also I love his gimmick. |
the Trident wielder is officially "Kamen Rider Durandal."

While I’m really concerned about both the Megid and Master Logos plans, It’s what Desast is up to that really troubles me the most. Because whatever he's planning gotta spell MAJOR trouble.
|
So I think I figured out how Durandal's Seiken transforms based on the next episode preview.
Basically, the prongs of the trident are plugged into the handle while in Sword mode. And to switch into Trident mode; You yank the entire blade out, turn the blade upside down, and stick it back into the handle. It's surprisingly simple but effective, I really like it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote:

Wait, Durandal's helmet is a trident slash effect! That's awesome!
