If those are P-Bandai then I think they might not do another retail release at all.

That is the MOST scummy thing they could do right now. And it even seems possible! Jin and Valkyrie had both equal chances of being the third retail rider and yet weren't. And Thouser's possible to being P-Bandai too being a late rider.

Honestly, I'm hoping they're more generous this time around. They were already generous enough to give 01 and Vulcan their respective weapons.

But hey, maybe they can surprise me and have Shining Hopper AND Thouser/Assault Vulcan as retail. Just like the good 'ol times of Ex-aid where we got four retail releases!

Went in and pre-ordered Jin because I might as well. I think that one thing I would've loved to see them include was a ZetsumeRiser for Jin to hold and, maybe, slap onto a fellow 1/12 scale figure's waist. Just a little neat interaction gimmick you could do.

Ankh (arm form) showed up in the mail today. This release is almost certainly more scale-appropriate than the original, but it's so tiny, it's a little hard to appreciate the added detail. To an extent, I wonder if purchasing this when I already own the original Figuarts release was a questionable idea. The pre-release materials suggested the cloth strips hanging down from the arm are poseable, but there's no wire, and the cloth resists posing. One point I really appreciated is that the end of the hand's ball joint that connects to the peg is straight rather than a ball: attaching and removing hands is easier than normal for Figuarts, but the connection is satisfyingly stable. Not sure how they engineered it, but if it translates to larger figures, I'd really like to see more of this connection style in future releases.

The tiny cell medals come on runners, and are easy to twist off without the need for clippers. Since they're exceptionally small and easy-to-lose, I'm glad the portion of the clamshell for the runners can be repurposed to hold the loose medals. I like that Ankh comes with trios of core medals to hold, but the choice for one of them to be Taka/Tora/Bata makes little display sense unless Bandai is planning on releasing a pre-transformation Eiji. (If so, I suspect the likelihood of that will depend on how well Ankh's human form sells.) Also, why include TaJaDor when they already had the release of GataKiriBa scheduled?

I'm glad they provided a Tamashii stage, arm, and adapter for Ankh. The release really wouldn't have felt complete without it.

Somehow, I completely missed the Figuarts blog post that confirmed a detail I hadn't realized: this release can, in fact, be attached to Ankh's human form. I guess that leaves me glad I picked up this release!

Yeah, because of that I'm more or less considering this 'DLC' for Human Ankh -- which makes it a lot more worth it

While I can't confirm for myself as my Ankh Arm hasn't arrived yet, it sounds like the same type of pegs that Bring Arts uses in alot of their figures, which ensure easy hand swaps and strong grip when holding weapons. If that's the case, that'd be great if Tamashii kept it for future releases.

Surprised no one has posted pics on anywhere sticking Ankh arm to any other 1/12 figures. Seems like a great gimmick.

Not many other figures have removable forearms.

I'm wanting a regular, base form Mach figure. I prefer that to his other forms, however it is easily his most expensive one. What isn't expensive though? Chaser Mach, and Deadheat Mach (which I own already). Would it be possible to buy a Chaser Mach, and take his upper torso, head, and shoulder pads,, and Deadheat Mach's lower half and arms, and create a base form Mach?

Would this be difficult...or should I just keep looking for a good price on a regular Mach?

Finding a decently priced Mach isn't too difficult, it's just a matter of timing. He tends to go fast, if you'll excuse the pun. Here's a cheap one on Buyee:

Huh, I didn't think base mach was expensive. I actually bought him for roughly 30$. I mean, it wasn't brand new and had a paint chip on his foot but yeah.

Also, I've been meaning to get a Mashin Chaser cuz I like Chase and Pseudo riders but I'm hesitant since he looks thin-looking in photos. This wasn't a problem with Mach and Drive but it IS for Mashin because his suit is usually bulky.

I'm quite surprised this one is so expensive myself - I vividly remember arguing with myself if I should pick one up back when it was on sale for like 10 bucks because no one wanted this figure.

But Drive was still airing at the time, it might've taken people until the finale to fully appreciate this character and then they wanted to buy it.

Also, the figure does have a certain age and considering that - being able to find it for around 70 isn’t too bad.

Really? Watching the finale made me want to hunt down Deadheat Mach much more than base mach since Gou utilized Deadheat more than base did and I'm not really into Mach Chaser and Chaser Mach.

To each their own tho. Liked Deadheat mach for its gimmick in the show and the mexican standby sound.

I own Mashin Chaser, and he is a bit to thin. But my biggest gripe is his articulation. I know it's the design, but it feels too hindered IMO.

Thing is...I hate Gou, and I hate Drive. However, I have recently given an appreciation to the Mach suit. I bought Deadheat long ago because it was cheap, but recently I've been wanting to just get a few designs I love. Orga, Psyga, Mach.

Got me a Lazer Level 3! He was up on Mandarake for 55$ and I HAD to get him and he is ONE C H O N K Y boy! Although, his hips down are the worst part of the figure. Boi can't even kick right or crouch for his finisher.

Aaand that's Yua ordered. Very happy to have all 5 main Riders for Zero One secured. Feels good to be really back into a Rider show. :)

Tried to put him in a DIY black light (Phone flash light + tape and blue marker) and... Honestly, I didn't what I was expecting.

Pre-ordered Aruto, Fuwa, and Jin. Tho, I am hoping that Shining Hopper gets releases soon. Hopefully retail.

No matter what combo they do it'll have the swap gimmick; it'd actually be harder not to integrate it at this point given it'd require creating an entirely new base mold. That said, unless this line is even more popular than I realise; I doubt we'll see the movie-exclusive forms.

Well, OOO is now at two retail-release forms, so that's gotta say something about popularity- the only others to get that treatment were Kuuga (2, 3 if you count the Decade version) and W (2 as well).

OOO may very well have the staying power to get the exclusive forms made, but we'll see. Either way... Gimme an Aqua and a Poseidon.
