currently watching the english dub for GBF they actually managed to make Sei sound more like a girl and Reiji's voice ... is just too different . They nailed Sazaki though

It felt rather awkward though Sei sounds more girly, Reiji sounds like a 20 year old man and Ral has a cowboy accent they did a good job with Rinko , Takeshi, China and Sazaki. and the battle system sounds less awkward.

In fact the dub is rather similar to the inazuma eleven dub with sei as mark and reiji as axel

This isn't anything new, as Tomino has reflected on all of his Gundam works, including Zeta. He even bashed his own decision to let Sid Myed design the Turn A. But I just find this fascinating as we might have the director and the fans in agreement over hiw the show was handled lol.

I don't see why he would, it's an excellent design once stuffy fans who can't accept change or flavour step outside their comfort zone and realise it's okay if not every Gundam ever has the same damn design philosophies.

Then again clearly the guy has no idea what he's doing if he thinks he keeps making so many bad calls. I do agree with him about how all anime these days is just pretty girls and nonsense, that's probably why I don't like 99.9999999% of anime, it's all the same generic stuff. But BF is also pretty stupid, so he shouldn't feel too bad.
