I know she and Grease aren't on the same level, but what are the chances for her getting a SHF release? Both her and Grease Blizzard were both end-series forms.

Well just found this out Bandai May webshop preorders are comin out in June push back another month cause lack of parts and production ugh. I hope it wont be delay anymore.

Was browsing MFC and came across a FUCKING GOLD MINE of Figuarts protoypes that likely will NEVER see the light and is probably just sitting inside a Tamashii Nations office or something. GODDAMN, I WANT THAT RINGO ARMS BARON!

Delays are fine really. Cancellations would suck big time. I can wait a few months more, that's not too bad.

Ah yes, the prototype graveyard. Back when Tamashii used to reveal a metric ton of prototypes and release maybe 1/10 of it. They had a really bad rep for showing off figures they would never release.

Thankfully that seems to have changed a bit nowadays. But I feel your pain as there are lots of those unreleased prototypes I'd love to have.

Think about it, now would be the PERFECT time. The offices are probably operating with the bare minimum amount of personnel. That vault would be as good as ours...

I try not to get hung up over the older prototypes, but I shed a tear for Apple Baron and Dragonfruit Duke.

BBTS has Genm God Maximum for under 100 shipped so I figured I'd bite. Since I already preordered 0-X I figured I'll go in on his alternate forms so I have all three post-revival forms.

Just need to get one of the Kurotos to round it out and I'll be satisfied with my Genm representation.

That said I'm sure the bike will come at some point. Haven't missed one yet.

I've been wondering about that too actually. Not because I want to buy it, them including the Attache Calibur with Vulcan killed any interest I had in this release (which is a good thing) but I do ask myself why this isn’t available for pre-order yet.

I want to see more Zero-One releases go up by the way, I hope we're seeing something at the end of April. A double announcement of Assault Wolf Vulcan and Thouser would be cool.

Yeah, it's also slightly weird to me we've seen nothing on Assault Wolf and Thouser. All the other stuff is late enough that I'm not expecting it for another few months.

Also, I hadn't seen this announced anywhere, but Riderwiki's saying that Hyper Muteki and human Ankh have both been pushed back from May to June. I'm kind of glad of that because it'll make getting Ankh earlier, but did I just miss an announcement or something? I'd only seen it reported that Den-O was getting delayed.

I cannot wait for more Zero-One SHF's. After Assault Wolf and Thouser there are even more awesome suits waiting to be turned into figures - Metal Cluster Hopper Zero-One, Burning Falcon Jin, Rampage Gatling Vulcan... oh man this will be fantastic.

So, do you guys think Agito, Hibiki, and Kabuto will ever see re-issues? I don't think I can justify the current prices for them.

I know OOO is getting a re-issue...I'd love if they would too.

I think every Seihou main rider should get a re-issue. Not just those guys; but Kuuga, Decade, W, even ones as recent as Kiva and Wizard go for exorbitant amounts on the aftermarket.

I'm really hoping the recent trend of re-issues extends to all these figures.

Completely agree...though I think Kuuga and Decade deserve it a little less than the others, having the Decade and Zi-O versions and all.

Those certainly helped, though even those new versions are now going for a lot. I don't think it'd be too bad to ask for re-issues of them every, say, 2-3 years?

That would be perfect...there are always new people getting in the line, it feels silly not to have a decent version of the main Riders in circulation every once in a while.

Well it's not quite as much, mind you; the original figures still go for a lot more and you can still sometimes see the new versions going for decent prices on Mandarake. But most of the aftermarket easily pushes them into triple figures.

Hopefully Bandai will realize the potential of re-issuing. They can't be benefitting from the exorbitant after market.

I wonder if the combination of 2021 being a big anniversary year for the Kamen Rider franchise, and every company in the world figuring out how they can increase revenue without increasing costs, might lead to a huge raft of reissues.

Bandai could pretty easily churn out accessory-light versions of nearly every primary and secondary Rider from the last few years worth of toys, package them up as 50th Anniversary Special Editions (instead of We Make Way More Profit On These Because All Of The Design And Tooling Has Been Paid For Editions) and make some money.

But, yeah, I'd love for an evergreen line, some way for newer fans (like me! I'm selfish!) to get a decent collection without having to pay aftermarket prices. I don't think it'll happen, though. I think you'll see something like the Transformers Masterpiece line, where every few years the engineering/sculpting/deco gets slightly better, so they release a new edition. It creates a new toy that's accessible for new fans, but it's also an upgraded toy that appeals to older fans. Best of both worlds for the toy company, financially. Keeping an old figure in production indefinitely means you can't get old fans to replace their figures.

It makes you wonder if a Gundam Universe-style KR line could work. Which they technically did kind of try when Zi-O hit. They did the repackaging of all the non-SS renewal Riders (Minus Fourze and Ghost) with less accessories for about $45 a pop.

If they do like a second run in that style for some SS releases with maybe less hands or accessories outside of say important posed hands and key weapons or items for a smaller price they could sell just as well. Then again some of the Rider Kick rereleases didn't sell as well as others so who knows.

Reissues would be fine. But honestly, not just main Riders. I'd like to see poll of sorts asking the community what figures they'd like to see again. So we don’t just get Kuuga or Decade or something, but also stuff like different forms, secondary Rider etc.

Ideally they could also ask which older figure we want to see being redone, a Shinkocchou Seihou of our choice essentially.

As for the one figure they could make on their own to celebrate the anniversary - I'd be down for a remold of the New Kamen Rider 1 suit into its original, blue-ish form. Making a figure of the suit that started it all seems like a no-brainer to me.

I agree with this one...another No-Brainer would be Amazon*Late (around episode 10-11, his chest went Red with no explanation),with Red chestpiece and darker Green than current SS figure,an easy cash-grab repaint, RAH did a version like this..

The original blue-green with pale pink eyes is my favorite Ichigo deco, I've been hoping ever since the first SS Ichigo that they'd do a release of him in those colors, hopefully as a retail version

I want reissues too for people who missed out on them. I want to own Fang Joker since I missed out on him and he is very pricey now. Mandarake is helpful, but you do have the casual fans that probably don't know about those type of websites and would be easier to get it at your local retail stores.

Mandarake is helpful...but for most of the SS releases, they are still $130-$200+.

Though agreed on FangJoker...a while ago I had a pick between Skull and him, and chose Skull...I made the wrong choice.

Speaking of the original Blue KR1, I know I'm most likely in the minority on this, but I'd personally love Seihous of the "The First" versions of KR1 and 2. (and of "The Next" version of V3 of course)

So I asked a few friends privately, but might as well get as wide a variety of opinions as possible. Hopefully that isn't rude?

I've purchased the Figuarts N Daguva Zeba, the one from I believe about a decade ago (wow...). I would like to make it look more like the more recent renewal, meaning it has a more aged or bronze-y gold, and a dirtier white to it. What would be the best way to accomplish this? A black wash? Brown wash? An aged gold paint?

I'd say repaint the gold parts with an aged gold paint and then give it a dark brown wash. That should give you something similar to the renewal.

Also, has anybody preordered Zero One via Bluefin? I know they won't be shipping out anything for a while (which I totally understand) but I've also noticed that the product page for Zero One isn't even there anymore? Is that just because the preorders sold out or is there something else going on?
