Yes. Tsunenori Aoki portrayed Sky Bow Knight GAI/Aguri Kusugami in Garo: Yami o Terasu Mono. Coincidentally, both his roles (GAI and Duke) are knights and archers (Aguri is a Makai Knight and uses a bow as his weapon, Duke has a European Knight and Archer motif and uses the Sonic Arrow as his weapon).

Yeah, both use bows. What does that say about the actor? Maybe he has a thing for them IRL? But lets not forget that just recently it was revealed that LS Duke used a rapier, another European weapon.

So I wanted to try and get back into Garo after I only saw the first season many many moons ago.

So I´m asking in what order do I have to watch all the Shows, Movies and Spin-Offs?

For the Saejima Garos: Garo, Garo Special: Byakuya no Maju, Red Requiem, Makai Senki, Soukoku no Maryu, Makai no Hana. Optional: Kiba Gaiden (set near the end of the first season, Kiba's backstory), Tougen no Fue (set during the same time as Soukoku no Maryu, focuses on Jabi and Rekka), Zero: Black Blood (set sometime after Makai Senki and Soukoku no Maryu but doesn't touch the main Garo story/stories at all)

For Ryuga's Garo (set sometime in the future after Makai no Hana but doesn't mention the Saejima Garos): Yami o Terasu Mono, Gold Storm Sho prequel film, Gold Storm Sho

Garo: The Animation is standalone and doesn't affect either 'eras'.

Can someone tell me the Garo series order or point me out to soemthing that list's em all? I've seen the first season and that one cool movie where Kouga, Rei, Jabi and the whit Makai Knight (Jan I think) all attacked that huge as horror thing.

Dunno what exactly comes next though.

What about Makai Retsuden? Does it fit anywhere? I know it is a collection, but when will it make the most sense for understanding? Same for Garo Ashura.

I am so confused. With all the different name translations it's becoming a chore just to find a complete viewing order list. Most are old and not updated. As someone who just discovered the series I have no clue.....

I'd just watch them in the order they aired. Makai Retsuden generally works well if you've seen all of the shows and movies up to that point.
