First of all it's his opinion. And second of all this is "Contrpversal Roder Opinions"

While Sento and Ryuga are absolutely in love, to the point that ghe show joked about it a few times, I never saw Shotaro/Phillip as a romantic thing. While I haven't even started OOO yet, I've seen enough clips to be pretty convinced of Eiji/Ankh as a romantic thing, which makes me very excited to someday watch it

Personally I never saw Eiji and Ankh as romantic, but maybe that's just me.

Eiji & Ankh is too much of a strained "friendship" for there to be any romance. Any time I see them shipped it just feels forced.

Shotaro & Phillip however is damn near blatant. Almost canon IMO.

I don't see that one. I get really big asexual vibes from Philip.

So far the character who comes closest to being ace is Terui IMO. It came as a genuine shock to me when he hooked up with Akiko out of nowhere.
