Finally got around to playing Ni No Kuni last night, and it does start out very slow. A lot of the time I just kept thinking, "I wish Studio Ghibli would have made this into a movie instead of animating a game". But it is a good RPG, so I definitely think it's a great game. I just don't have that much patience for RPGs these days.

That's why I got FES. By the way...they took out the Animated cutscenes in portable.

Yeah, that's why I said it reminded me more of a visual novel.

Still, it's neat playing as a female protagonist.

Anyways I finally finished all the linear stuff…the visual novel aspect of the things outside Tartarus is taking a little bit of getting use too, but it's still as fun as I remember it.

The graphics seems to have taken a huge downgrade from what I remmeber, but I guess that's just due to the hardware limitations of the PSP.

I made it, got Coventry into the Premier League! And then...half my contracts ran out so I've been slowly repopulating my team and honestly I've added so many new quality players I barely recognise my team.

Yeah, the PSP is kind of a PS2- Heck, I'd say Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep pushed the system to it's limits, since I remember sometimes running into lag with it.

Well before I knew it, half of my evening vanished while playing Persona 3 portable soooooo yeah.

I named my char Minato Arashi if anyone is wondering, and she's now a member of the tennis club.

So far, I like how cheerful and spunky the female MC's lines are, it's a real shame they didn't do this with P4 Golden.

Brought Shovel Knight today and so far I've been enjoying it alot.

There's some NES elements there like the difficulty, plus some modern ones too like auto saving which make playing the game easier for me since I was never a Zelda master.

One thing I wish to bring up is the soundtrack. You find notes in the stages and when you bring them to the bard he'll trade them for gold and you can listen to the game's songs whenever you want. It's not a traditional songtest but given this is meant to be a fantasy game I'll let it slide since Manami Matsumae composed the game's music tracks.

I've failed both Shield Knight parts and I'm worried I'm on my way to the bad ending; though I did beat three Boss Knights so far.

I got Shovel Knight today too, I really like it. It's basically a mix of DuckTales, Mega Man, and SMB3, all of which I loved, so it was pretty much a given that I was going to enjoy this too. The game just exudes charm, it really pulls off that old-school NES cheesiness very well. If I had to pick one thing I like most though, it would definitely be the soundtrack. I really enjoy old NES game soundtracks like Mega Man, Final Fantasy, Zelda, etc. and this game sounds like it belongs right alongside them. Shovel Knight just does all of the right things for me.

I got Zelda:A Link Between Worlds on Wednesday and I'm already at the final dungeon :lol I'll probably have it beat either tonight or tomorrow.

Just beat Zelda:ALBW. It was so fun, but incredibly easy.

Yo fellow shoveler! I'm glad you're liking the game too; it's been a real blast getting to the Tower of Fate. I'm missing the propeller from said Knight's stage and I was wondering if you knew where it was since GameFAQS isn't being helpful as per usual.

I gave up on bothering with the Trophies/Achievements when I realized there are online requirements to even 100% the single player game.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

Grinding in G-rank. I unlocked the Green Nargacuga quest but I haven't fought him yet. Been grinding Gigginoxes for Pale extracts.

I'm gonna try to beat this game before 4U comes out, but considering I suck at games...

It's very shortly after the second checkpoint. When you go up the ladder to the next screen, there's a windowed path on the right side that you can't get into because the air pushes you up too high. Climb the ladder to the screen with the row of jellyfish, bounce off the first one and immediately fall to the right. You'll keep falling, and if you keep holding right it'll be just enough to let you fall into that hidden path. The propeller is right through there!

Man, playing as the female protagonist…you realize just how many female social links there are in this game. Seriously, this game is like…dominated by women. :lol

That said though, I think this game has balances the social aspects with the dungeon crawling a bit better than Persona 4 did. Persona 4 is still great, don't get me wrong but it seems like there's so much more stuff to do in 3, it helps that the Tartarus stuff is in the night since there really isn't much to do in the evenings anyways. The overall pacing of the story seems to be moving a bit quicker from what I remember too, I'm already about to recruit Fuuka onto the team.

Yeah, I thought Propeller Knight was the most difficult in both level and fight. Can't say I minded too much though, his level also had great music!

You know what i hate? When i'm doing so well in a Mario kart cup, three races in first place, then something happens in the last race that causes me to lose...

Picked up Fifa for the first time in a while, the plague of the scripting is even more painful than I remember it being and adding that to all the injuries I've gotten lately, and how few spare players I have it's all a bit of a nightmare.

Still in second place, but we're clinging on for dear life and our fingers are clearly slipping. I just fear that once we do, or at least if we do, we may never be able to climb up again. Especially with some players out for several months due to injuries.

Yeah, I like that the dungeon crawling is done at night in 3, I feel it gives you more freedom than 4.

I am playing ff8, the graphics in the game are a lot better then the previous one and the cutscencs... well it is the same:)
But what in the hell is with the junction stuff... it is killing my brain out
First it was easy to learn the basis but suddenly you shall learn to use "EL - A/D" and some other things and I can´t edit/put something in it... just google for help does not help me!!


And why do have summons suddenly has HP!
And the limit breaks can you only use when you HP is low!
And what is all with those abbreviation... seriously dudes
And many other things I dislike...

But I will give credits for GF and their attacks... just holy awesome and that is on PS1XD

I'm currently playing through 3D Classics Kid Icarus.
This is one of the hardest experiences i've ever had to endure...

Currently (but not at this very second) playing through Final Fantasy X HD. Now I can at least understand why FF13 was so linear...X isn't as linear as XIII, but it's a great deal more linear than the ones that came before it. XII had a bad reaction, so maybe they wanted to streamline it?
