Blue Senturion and Space Silver V2 right now are available on Entertainment Earth. Well restocking right now.
Ignore Hasbro release dates because BBTS, EE, Amazon, Gamestop, Pulse...etc don't have release dates. They have an expected month where they think they will get inventory. BBTS might say they get them in April, they could get them in next week....or if Hasbro is slow in June. Blue Senturion's drop downs on mine seem fine but they also don't seem all that functional. I forget he has drop downs because they don't really do anything good/bad. https://www.tokunation.com/forums/at...1&d=1676222734 In case anyone was wondering what a part swap looks like. I put the new limbs on the old body. I just couldn't pop off the upper torso of V2 with heat while the other popped no problem. So I would like Hasbro to ditch the drop downs or scale up the parts so they are tighter. I'd take tight as heck over wobbly. Keep the upper torso but use the old butterfly joints. The new ones are too short and exposed the cavity. The old ones never did that. On a different note. Bandai for the Space Rangers for example actually sculpted in the torso patterns. They actually sculpted in the visor patterns. I felt that added a bit of depth(and maind correcting paint errors easier with masking). I think Hasbro really needs to start sculpting the torsos more. It may even help with paint apps. |
That hybrid body you made looks great!

If current rumors/leaks are to be believed, we should expect Turbo, Lightspeed Rescue, Samurai, and more comic figures to come to the line soon. Turbo premiering with Red and Lightspeed with Blue. Meanwhile the figures for Samurai and Comic are unknown.
If I had to guess, Samurai would likely premiere with Lauren given how she's become a fan favorite over the years, meanwhile it only makes sense to have an Omega Ranger for the Comic figures. That or another of Drakkon's' forms. Personally if the leaks are true then I'm all for it. Would love figures of Turbo Red, Titanium Ranger, Samurai Gold, and Omega Black. |
Omegas make the most sense to me too. Been a while since I read the comics but those seem to be the most prominent things not covered by the line yet. I could see them doing a full team pack...
|
If the Omegas come with a Yale plushie, I'll buy every copy.
|
Red Turbo ? Good! I love me some Carranger
|
I've been watching Carranger lately (well, 2 episodes; lot of stuff I'm watching right now...) and been really really loving it so this could be something for me as well! Cool they already put out both extra rangers, too; so it's just the main team of 5 to cover
|
We've got a more direct leak on what the upcoming "comic" figures entail, and yes, it's the Omega Rangers. More specifically it's a 4-Pack with Red, Yellow, Black, and Blue.
If I had to guess, the 4-Pack is probably gonna be Amazon exclusive too, given that both the Psycho and Alien packs were. |
That makes a lot of sense -- they're a 'secondary' team in the comics since those are still MMPR comics
|
I just hope we get a Yale Of Saard figure.
|
Still patiently waiting for Jungle Fury to get anything
|
At least give us RJ and Jarrod.
|
PSA on the Remastered MMPR Yellow figure. You can actually extend the torso joint to get better mobility out of it.
|
for those Power Rangers fans who are collecting Lightning collection when they can get a new figure before can have Quality Control issues is make sure to put hot water or a hairdryer that will make warm the material or plastic of the figure just take care your Power Rangers Lightning Collection figure nice and be nice to Hasbro because is a recommendation for the collectors by me or Bruno from MMPRtoys.

The usual sources have leaked that our first Battlizer figure will be of the Wild Force one under the Deluxe line.
|
wow the battlizer was awsome like from others seasons.

This was the transitional period between Saban and Disney. Fox Kids was fading out and Wild Force moved to ABC Kids and ABC Family before it even finished! Despite the Exclusive aspects like the constant and ever-changing subplot involving Master Org/Victor Adler, and the inclusion of the then-obligatory Battlizer as well as the Jungle Blaster, Wild Force maintained a certain adherence to the source material at its core. There was no reason to expect that they would ever change Morphers in contrast to the source material cause that wasn't the mindset at the time! It wouldn't be until Jungle Fury, under Disney. In fact, you could argue that the Wild Force Battlizer Morpher was one of the first of its kind! Lost Galaxy was the only one prior to Wild Force in which the Battlizer Morpher was a new prop, and that thing was never a part of the Lost Galaxy toyline! This was the first real instance in which the Battlizer Morpher was something similar, but unique, and more importantly, something marketable in a toyline. Given the evidence used to back up your argument, one could argue that the Mighty Morphin' Power Morphers/Zyuranger Dino Bucklers were the direct inspiration for the Wild Force Battlizer Morpher! |
I just realised that if the Lightspeed rumours are true, then that completes a full 10-series throughline of shows that LC is covering -- and about half of those are complete already, too. If nothing else you might be seeing that Forever Red lineup within the year...

Similarly, I saw a video from Toy Galaxy where his review came with a disclaimer from the manufacturer. They recommended the joints should be heated up before breaking them in, because changes in temperature exposure from the factory/during shipping causes the joints to stiffen up I understand wanting your products to work correctly after receiving them, but the hairdryer trick is such an easy and harmless thing to do. I'm wondering how many broken Izzy's would've been spared if they heated up the plastic too ... |

I'd say Hasbro does design their figs in a way where they aren't accounting for the stiffness that might happened once production is done. But really I can't find any toymaker using plastic for joints where heating isn't required. It's only the figures with metal. At that point, time to lube up.
Anyway ZAP Astro Megazord I'm having a far better time with this guy then Megazord. In terms of QC, I had a fix little nicks to the paint. I really had to look for them. They only stood out because the paint apps are clean. Like I wonder if Bandai Japan actually made this like some weird Sony/Marvel deal. Ratchets galore. It's like how the Marvel Team reinforced Galactus after the Haslab Sentinel complaints. https://www.tokunation.com/forums/at...1&d=1678851899 https://www.tokunation.com/forums/at...1&d=1678851899 https://www.tokunation.com/forums/at...1&d=1678851899 |
>Banana for scale
Ah... I see that you too are an Imgurian. Anyway yeah! What few reviews I've read/seen all say that the Astro Megazord came out way better than the Dino Megazord and Dragonzord, which is to be expected I think given that it's far more akin to a Transformer, which is more in the wheelhouse of the people doing the ZAP line. SPD Yellow and Lost Galaxy Yellow are also now up for pre-order, and man, I gotta say, I think LG Yellow actually has the worst accessory loadout we've seen so far for any figure? Bad hand choices, and Hasbro seems to think that the Galaxy Launcher makes up for her missing all the other stuff the other LG figures have come with. Pink has the best loudout of all of them easily. |
Those are the same accessories Red came with I'm pretty sure, and yeah, that was really disappointing too. It's so weird to me to see them come without the swords when that's kind of their main thing. I'd still give it to Red bc I think Yellow's 'devil horns' hands here are interesting at least
|
"I think LG Yellow actually has the worst accessory loadout we've seen so far for any figure?"
When we started we didn't have two gripping hands. Zeo Blue missing Tonfa's. Then other releases really not having much. It's a very frustrating release though. Hasbro has made all the LG accessories in some form but just won't put them in one package. |

Zeo Blue's' missing Tonfas were definitely baffling though. But he still came out better equipped than what LG Yellow is, I'd say. |
I prefer pose hands to fists myself, but to each their own. This is another reason I really wish they'd do at least 3 pairs instead of 2, these two figures' set of hands really show the development team struggling to balance a good variety of posing with practical accessory use

Does the Astro Megazord have ankle tilts?
|
yes but barely... provided I'm not missing that the ankle can "extend" to increase the range
|
I just realised something;
With this Z.A.P Megazord's posing capabilities, scale and accuracy to the suit, it's legitimately surprising how well this could work for a "dynamation" [Harryhauser's term for blending Stop Motion with live action footage]-style Webseries. |
For those of you who wanna get better neck articulation out of the modern LC figures.

Black Boar. Nifty.
|
Correct me if I'm wrong, but never in the Power Ranger history did the Green Ranger had the base holster just colored in black...because that's what Hasbro did...and it's pretty jarring.
|
Many of the old toys gave him a Blade Blaster, so I imagine that's why the Remastered figure is getting one.
|
That's....inaccurate to any of the source material we got. But once again, I could be wrong.
Heck, even the black stripes are wrong on the belt and shouldn't be on this rendition of the character. Edit : My god....it's actually accurate to something! https://www.grnrngr.com/cards/cardzi...ries-1/card/22 |

Yes and no... All Japanese stock footage of the green ranger has a dagger specific sheath which we got on the previous iteration of the character. However, the American shot footage in season 1 never showed this sheath as they didn't make one for the American costume. There is no in universe reason for the lack of sheath, its just poor continuity between bespoke footage and stock footage. There was little Green Ranger footage that wasn't stock in season 1 though, so usually they just threw a white holster on him. In season 2 of MMPR, they pretty much only had bespoke footage for the MMPR suits once the Zyu2 footage was spent. Since they were making more new footage using the American Green Ranger costume, they gave him a black blade blaster holster. Still not accurate, but good enough for a cheap kids show that was watched on standard def on old tube tvs. So in short, it's accurate, but only because Saban chose to be inaccurate. |

As a very casual LC collector, Remastered Blue really does it for me. Once you break the joints in, it's fun to pose and doesn't have the big issues of my previous Time Force Blue; but the joint on the chest is a bit wobbly on mine and the neck pegs still can't make him look down. I recommend hitting the heads with a hair dryer to make swapping them out easier. Couple seconds and it works great. I'm really impressed with the Billy head. The finish is lifelike and the likeness is spot on. I have no doubt the entire team is going to look great together Also, why doesn't Hasbro use the roll call pose for the front of the box??! It's so easy and recognizable. SMH https://i.imgur.com/eXkxequ.jpg |
