I watched episode 6 of Megaman NT Warrior Acess.
I actually remember this one!

I know a lot of his lines come from the game but a lot of his actions don't lol. It sort of takes me out of it every time I hear Yu speak, not because he is but because Johnny Young Bosch is just using his Adachi voice.

I didn't even know Yu was so masculine until the animated club scene. I bet you Locke will give a pass on that one lol.

Well... There goes for dubbing those two, Aniplex rarely dubs any of their Anime unless it becomes a huge Mainstream thing such as Kill La Kill, Madoka, and Gurren Lagaan.

Aniplex just has to get everything.

Yeah, with the same cast of the games for the most part.

Given that the entire western fandom is used to the english voice acting it'd be really dumb not to dub em.

The line AMERICA FUCK YEAH kept going through my head as i watched this episode, Ichinose is easily one of my favorite characters.

I should really pick up the game on the eshop at some point.

I actually found it to pick up once they fell for OZ's trap and killed the peaceful members. The whole coup de'trait aspect is interesting as you have all of these fringe grips trying to defeat one ultimate power, and there's even people within that ultimate power who look to be fighting against it. Plus it seems to slowly be producing some development for Heero which is great because it means he's slowly starting not to act like a generic emo brat.

So yeah it isn't fully engaging and hooking me in, but at least it's picked up and I'm not bored throughout the episode/s. Even if it stays meh on excitement I can keep watching as long as it doesn't fall into "Oh my fucking God this is boring."

I hated NT Warrior because the dub just made unnecessary edits and name changes that did not need editing. It is a kids show and needed nothing altered.

As for the Japanese version, I actually liked it until the third series (I think). I don't remember anymore but the show started to really lose my interest as every season became the same thing over and then things just got really weird with the beast changing stuff. In fact, I stopped playing the games after BN4 as BN5 was just flat out boring and the gameplay overstayed its welcome. BN3 had a perfect ending for the series so there was no need to $equel it to hell afterwards.

Aniplex has not licensed the series. Their Persona 3 movie BD is just a Japanese import. No one has licensed it yet in the US.

I remember reading somewhere that the reason they did that was so it could fit the lyp synching better.
