I feel bad because this was supposed to be Bluefin's first foray into Kamen Rider and its been riddled with issues. Let's hope the DX and CSM stuff rolls out cleanly enough to warrant continued support.

In this case it's not really anyone involved's fault at all. History took a real sharp turn so because of that everything they were planning to roll out got postponed or pushed back indefinitely. That said I don't think it should effect any deals or collaborations since no one has control over current world events and all.

If anything I was shocked they were able to get it sorted out this soon. I was sure I'd have to wait a couple more months to see Zero-One given the current state of things.

So I was cleaning up my Figuarts and I realized that the Gaim mold is starting to age. He still looks amazing, it's just he's a bit skinny, although that may be because when we see Gaim in show he's a bit beefy due to Takaiwa's physique.

Maybe in 5 years he'll become outdated to warrant a Seihou release.

Got my shipping notification for Zero-One! Very happy they were able to find a way to ship their stock. Just hope it's not at too much of a detriment, of course.

I also pre-ordered the CSM Double Driver through Gamestop, so I hope this means Bluefin is now able to get their other goods to vendors.

As I understand, their warehouse had to shutdown due to COVID-19 but it is operational again now as of this past weekend.

Like with the Blade SHFs, I feel like it comes down to coloring. Baron and Zangetsu look fine, apart from the fact that it took them five years and three figures to figure out how to get Zangetsu's white coloration right. And yet Gaim himself seems a bit off.

So...for the eventual SS Blade, what are the odds we get an extra head that had the more gold tint to it that keeps showing up in recent stuff? I think it's either suit degradation or a repainted Jack Form helmet?

I believe it is degradation. The helmet is finished in vinyl which can yellow over time from UV light.

There are some reddit posts online that show a conscious effort to photoshop the helmet in promotional materials and show stills, but then it was left as-is in the Zi-O appearance.

Makes me wonder if the Ghost and Specter armor pieces are going to go yellow too.

I want a P-Bandai release that's called "Ver. ZI-O" in which he'll have a purple stomach and a yellowed out horn. Hell, why don't we just yellow out the entire armor so it looks like the armor got old.

I -finally- got my SHF Births! Even though Seihou renewals would of course be so much better, the originals to my eye hold up extremely well and I love how they look with my Seihou Tatoba! Until they make an Aqua, my little gathering of OOO Riders is complete! :D

Same. My Mach has some yellowing in some places. The joints, the torso, and, well, places that aren't painted. Makes me worry about the white parts on Vulcan (which hasn't arrived yet...).

I wanna pick up one of the Births too and the BIRTHDAY set but those thighs look pretty narrow for my tastes. Also, what do they look next to SS OOO in vanilla poses? Bit short I take?

Oh dude you don't want this. Twist Action was an experiment in doing articulated figures with no joints by using wires and malleable plastic, and it turned out just awful. Look up any videos; they tell it better than I ever could but they're so limited and wrong in every way.

Kinda wonder if you could, for lack of a better term, skin them and use the solid parts as a base for a custom. Especially if you used one of the Body-Kuns.

The Twisted Action line was a cool idea on paper, but it turned to be awful. I remember people not being happy with them back in 2009-2010.

Totally random thought that most likely won't happen but would still be cool: Should we ever get Seihous of the rest of Kuuga's' Forms, it'd be really cool if, say, the Rising Forms all came with Black copies of their weapons, since it's stated in lore(but sadly never shown) that Ultimate Form can use all the weapons of Dragon, Titan, and Pegasus.

The original SH toys even came with them!

Oh that's actually really cool. Makes me wish they'd reissue the Ultimate Form Seihou with those weapons included(but with improved sculpt, obviously).

...Or, heck, maybe have a future Seihou of Rising Ultimate with them. Which, my distaste for all things associated with Onodera aside, I'd totally get just for those.

Looking at my set-up, as much as I love the SS release, I feel Kabuto either needs a reissue immediately or another slight update. My Kabuto doesn't seem to have aged well QC-wise. His right elbow joint cracked apart randomly when he's never taken a bad fall and the joint shows no stress mark signs so it wasn't an impact or mishandling and his left elbow doesn't feel structurally sound since trying to bend the elbow almost feels like the assembly itself is trying to forcefully bend itself rather than the joint.

And given how insane his aftermarket prices have gotten, I don't want to touch mine at all at the risk of breaking him further.

Yeah when I saw these two announced I decided I kinda wanted Zero One's. Only for Tokucollectibles to be out of that one. But then I learned Kiva's getting one and I somehow totally missed that, so had to grab it to add to the Rider display.
