They used to be normal release, but ever since Drive I thinknthey become P-Bandai. Even worse, Drive is the currently last final form to be release before Hyper Muteki arrives.

They had a Grand Zi-O prototype, but it is a prototype and actual release might be disappointing, since Zi-O line is pretty miss in general.

90% it will be P-Bandai, they can't just resist the opportunity. If they we generous they would include some effects as well.

Head's up y'all. Y'all might want to put your SS Den-O in hot water or sand/trim down the pegs of the armors so that they don't break when you try to remove them. JP Twitter has been going around and having problems of the form-changing process to be way too tight. Pic above has the chest armor broke, and I remember one guy having the red clear part of his belt to break one of the four pegs.

In general, submerging your new figures in warm(not hot or boiling, WARM) water for about a minute before doing anything with them tends to be a good idea. It's helped me avoid alot of breaks that tend to happen to others. It's not foolproof, but it's a good protective measure to do.

...aaaaand Momotaros preorders sold out on AmiAmi within six minutes. Naturally, the page wouldn't load before then. Why do they never estimate anywhere close to actual demand for super-obvious ones like this?

I have long since arrived at the point where that extra money is absolutely worth the peace of mind in getting it without having to go through this bullshit every single time.

Dunno if I want to pick up Rampage and MCH, but I might have to break my "3 SHFs per series only" rule for Burning Falcon, or Zero-Two. Depending on which suits my taste after the series ends.

3 per series is a smart decision. Meanwhile I'm going all in on Zero-One, it's rare that a show has 10/10 suits for me so I'm getting them all.

I really hope they just make Zero-Two early and we're not stuck with the "wait 3 years or something"-deal final forms get these days.

I think if I buy any SHFs from Zero-One; it'll be Rampage Gatling and Zero-Two. It's rare the final forms are this incredible! Burning Falcon is another amazing one, but I love the first two a lot more especially for how they're both very... streamlined? Seems an odd thing to say about Rampage when it's got a big row of robo-skeletons going down one side, but they both feel just slightly one step removed from a base form and that makes them some of my favourite final forms ever.

That's a choice I can agree with.

I haven’t really talked much about Zero-Two because I stay clear of the rumors thread, but I love it. It’s not only a clever reference to the Double Riders, but also an awesome, streamlined final form. Look-wise it's perfect so I'm interested to see what it can do.

My only gripe is the name Zero-One was binary, as in 0 and 1; the number 2 doesn't exist in binary. I guess that's the catch, it's supposed to be something cutting edge and never seen before, plus Zero-Two rolls of the tongue much better than One-Zero.

Rampage Gatling is also awesome, mostly because they take the old "all powers combined"-shtick but applied it to the secondary Rider which I think is a great idea.

I already said I'm gonna buy them all but - I really want these two!

I feel the exact same way about Zero-Two, name and all!


Rampage Gatling I'm cool either way with giving him the all-powers-combined thing, but for me what I really like is in the visuals of Fuwa shedding Assault Wolf, going back to basics and essentially just super-upgrading Shooting Wolf. The form strikes a great balance between messy and streamlined; it had an AMAZING debut, and just to top it off I adore the new shape it gives to the Shotriser!

Zero One is odd for me.

I think most of the suits are absolutely amazing, several of them fall into my "must have" categories...but I can't bring myself to buy them.

I've almost bought Zero One and Vulcan twice, they look amazing. I dunno what it is, but I have very little interest.

...MCH and Burning Falcon will change this however, I love them so much.

I managed to get Momotaros on HLJ about 45 minutes after he went up. Went through with no trouble, which was a first for me and SHF Riders at HLJ in almost a year.

Got Den-O in-hand about an hour ago. He's pretty dang cool. He comes with seven pairs of hands two versions of the pass in addition to the weapons and Gun From parts. For the belt, the red and purple symbols are just plug-ins. The separated weapon parts have posts on the back that slide into rail slots on the holsters.

I haven't switched forms yet, because the chest feels a bit tight. I didn't want to risk anything prying it apart. There doesn't really seem to be any good point to start the separation at, and the instruction sheet only shows how to put the stuff on, not take it off. The thigh pieces are easier to take off, but not so easy that you'd have to worry about them falling off.

Right now I have mine standing with a slight A-stance, so that affects things a little, but even then he is noticeably shorter than the SS Decade and W next to him. Not a lot - the top of his helmet comes to about the top of Decade's outer eye corners, but you'll still notice it.

I hope for MCH they'll have color separation like the suit and not just all silver. Coz the suit has metallic silver, gunmetal-ish undersuit and slight chrome accents.

SHF Upgrade revealed they're making a boxart slip for the Seihou Den-O, for those who only care about Sword Form and not Gun Form. Looks pretty on point.

Yeah that's a real "Why though?" if I ever saw one. I get displaying the boxes for these, they are super pretty and when I had the space I displayed them too, but why would you do this? If anything you would need two boxes and two slipcovers, one for Sword and one for Gun Form, otherwise you're just omitting Gun Form altogether. Maybe that's the point if you only want to display main Rider boxes? Sound super niche of a concept though.

And even then - why even go through this hassle and not just display the box as is? It's beautiful enough and I personally really like "special" boxes like this. I mean it is the first Shinkocchou Seihou "two-pack" essentially.

Being SHF_Upgrade, you'd think they'd tease a Nega Den-O armor pack instead of a box cover slip.

Based on the Google Translate of their announcement post, apparently they made it because alot of users on Chinese Twitter actually were complaining about how the Den-O box didn't match the others. While I personally agree with you guys in not seeing it as a big deal, hey, if they can make money off it, why not?

Guessing reveals is pretty difficult with this line. Case in point, stuff like Shinkocchu Seihou IXA and SHF Evol Black Hole coming absolutely out of nowhere, while there are still prototypes from the last big event that have yet to receive a release date.

The best guess anyone can make is said big event in October, mostly because that's their largest platform were they announce the most new stuff.

Not for Toku figures specifically, but yes. Their quality tends to depend on who's making them.

I have. I bought the Homecoming Spider-Man and the Cross-Z Magma SHF. The Spider-Man one was pretty cool and almost looks like the real thing but he is a bit loose.

The Cross-Z magma.... AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS! The plastic is some weird bendy mess that's way more bendy than hasbro's plastic, it's brittle, and weirdly uses 1.0 SHF technology on the torso and legs. The legs are a loose floppy mess and the wrist arms practically disintegrate after switching one hand. For 20$ it is literally garbage.

Avoid toku bootlegs at all cost. Recently a SS Agito and Rider Kicks Build bootlegs have surfaced and they look atrocious.

The only SHF KOs I know that turn out fine or exceptional are Iron-Man ones, specifically the mark 85 and 50 KOs.

3rd Party Dragon Ball figures have been seeing a rise over the past year or so. Companies like Demoniacal Fit and Class E Adventurer have actually had some pretty solid releases. Makes me wonder if one day they'll get to the level of 3rd Party Transformers toys.

Yep, I'm eyeing for Iron Man ones. I wanna get Mk IV but it's sold out/ultra expensive everywhere and only bootlegs exists.

Though from what I've seen Mk 46, 47 and 50s are the most produced KOs.

the 46 and 47 are not great, in my opinion. The paint was very dull compared to official figures, the joints on one of them were..i don't remember, weird? like they only had part of the movement I expected. the shoulder pad on one popped off a lot (but I think that also happens on one of my official Iron Mans, don't remember which).
Unless there's a different KO version of 46/47, I'd say avoid them.

Same. Not a fan of Zi-O but the design is cool and she was my favorite character from that show. I really liked that they made her a Rider but it happened way too late sadly.
