I recently bought an IKEA Detolf, and it is the most commonly popular display shelf.

However there's also a pretty good one because they're wide, it's the shelf that I'm displaying my latest Figuarts in, it's IKEA Laiva

However the major con is that because it has no glass, it can get pretty dusty. But ehh, dusty shelves is pretty common for non diehard collectors lol.

I'd personally recommend Laiva, while Detolf is the superior choice (especially if you can get LED strips for it), Laiva is far easier to construct since Detolf requires two people and it's glass so one mistake = boom

The main "flaw" of a Detolf (too much vertical space for Figuarts) can also be worked around with by using acrylic risers / stairs.

The main issue with IKEA is if there's not one nearby to you, shipping is astronomical.

IKEA stores are few and far between in the USA, at least where I am at. I only ever see them while driving on the interstate. Never been in one, and have no desire to stop at the exits that do have one just to visit.

Nearest IKEA here is 3 hours away, and they apparently won't deliver to me at all.

There's one in Baltimore, but they are close at the moment.

Like so many other things, it is a... uniquely American problem to have.

Honestly, I don't want to see Tamashii Nations restart the Sentai brand, purely for the reason that they cowardly abandoned it 5 years ago.
They could have tried to better those figures, try the same thing they did with Kamen Rider but they didn't.
People would have bought a Sentai figure with the "new" Figuarts engineering...

The stuff didn't sell; it's just a logical business decision. They might try again someday but I think they will arrive at the same conclusion: The general collector audience doesn't want to pay 300+ bucks for a complete team of one figure in five different colors.

Something I have been wondering recently is that... while a full team is hardly viable unless they turn out super popular, I really think SHF could get away with just making the Red and the Sixth of the cocurrent Sentai season. Sure there'd be people who wouldn't wanna bother unless a full team is a thing, but there's a lot of people that'd be happy with just those and I think they'd easily sell well enough.

At this point you can only try making insanely popular characters from well received shows and - does Sentai even have those anymore?

The only thing they would get away with IMO is a redone Zyuranger cast 'cause MMPR.

I find that reasoning kinda funny when you look at how completing a rider group is basically no different since you're spending 300+ for multiples of one figure with different armor pieces on it.

Granted you could justify it since you have riders with vastly different remolds and weapon options compared to recolors and a different helmet.

It still sucks that the Sentai stuff never sold as well, I still like a ton of them including the older releases like Gokai Red.
