As I pointed out in an earlier reply to someone else, all of those things could have been done in Super without negating the movies entirely. There's a big difference between expanding on something and throwing it out altogether.

The big deal is it doesn't work because now they have to change everything. Plus, Beerus' awakening scene in BoG was amazing. Here, it doesn't exist becasue he never went to sleep Well, at least it gives them the ability to make the Super Saiyan God thing make sense now since there won't be any pregnant Videl to help out.

EXACTLY. Expansion is great. Give me the elements from the movies that should have been there, that he wanted to include but simply couldn't for time. I'm all for that. But compromising them to the point that they can't be cannon any more was not necessary. The entire premise of them was related to their canonicity with the series. By overturning that, there was literally no point to them existing at all.

Because 2/3 of the entire damn show is being used to retell a story Toriyama already did in animated form. It's a waste.

Actually, I think he was responding to my question if he was asking how much time passed after Boo's defeat for the last chapters/episodes, not the spelling.

BTW, it is also spelled Boo on the Dragon Box DVDs and in the booklets they come with. :-)
