Are you comparing her to Izu, or did you forget to write the characters name you're comparing her with? If it's the former, I agree 100%.

As far as I remember, her name is canonically Is, not Izu. First time we learned about that was when they released company batches on Premium Bandai for Reiwa generations. It's also on her Progrise key:

And yet Memory of Heroez localizes her name as Izu. Makes me wonder what the upcoming official subs of Zero-One will call her.

I mean, the show puts a lot of the emotional stakes on Is, regardless if she's a bot. Same with all other Humagears in the show. And the show basically made clear that humans or Humagear, they're worthy persons in their own right.

Here's my controversial take.

I know they're "official" (really can you trust official stuff when Toei flipflops on certain terms constantly?) terms but honestly it's easier and more coherent in a conversation to say the names as "Izu" "Zea" instead of the ones they're based on "Is" and "There".

All I know is Izu and Aruto's relationship was very impactful for me in that it made me more open to the idea of Robot and Human Ships. To where I've changed my mind on certain other Ships I've seen from various franchises.
