Now granted it's definitely much improved over the original digivolving toy. And does look good for what it's doing.

But is not at all something I want and definitely feels overpriced with just this to go off of.

I believe we weren't supposed to learn about this until the end of this week since the countdown was the 26th, so maybe more will be revealed then.

Meh. Slightly better gimmick toys is not what I expected from Tamashii really.

Money saved I guess? I hoped this would kickstart a new Digimon SHF line.

I'm productive so I have been playing a copy of the crappy Digimon World: Data Squad game for the PS2. It's pretty fun in a mind-numbing way.

Well, I didn't expect that...7000yen for it is a bit much to ask for, though.

Been trying to figure out which is the worse home console Digimon game. Digimon World 4 or Digimon World Datasquad/Savers. World 4 had an unique combat system for a Digimon game but there was no real digivolutions in the game. You get to choose one of four rookie Digimon to choose from and through leveling up they can then digivolve into one of the other three rookies at level one. To get a digivolution that doesn't turn you into one of the rookies,you have to beat a minigame/side quest. Savers has actual digivolutions but they have requirements that can be a annoying as hell to do. For example most of them require you to defeat a certain amount of Digimon of a certain type and/or level. This would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that it doesn't count as one for the Digimon you want to digivolve unless they are the one to finish off the enemy. One weird thing for World 4 is that if you play with two or more players, the story only progresses for player 1. This means that if the group got to the final area with the same person as player 1, then player 2 to 4 decide to be player one, the whole group would start from the very beginning of the story.

I actually had a few of those Digivolving figures! I had that one, Gabumon into Metalgarurumon, Imperialdramon (Dragon Mode into Fighting Mode) and MagnaAngemon into Seraphimon.

I had one for Metal Greymon.

I had Patamon to Angemon.

I had XVeemon to Stingmon to Paildramon.
He was a neat figure~

I had the chromed Wargreymon, the boxing wolf thing from Data Squad, a Weregarurumon with missing parts, and Growlmon. I think I might still have Growlmon somewhere. Oh course, I never found the ones I really wanted when they were new and the aftermarket prices make it not worth it anymore for what they are.

Honestly hope this does well. It looks like a huge improvement over the older toys.

The only Digimon toy I have nowadays is a talking Guilmon.

Wotafa has been uploading reviews of old Digivolving toys for a bit now, so I was kind of interested in their revival, but man, not $70+ interestd.

....Throw torches at me if you want I think the old toy looks better.

The Agumon sure does but I think Wargreymon looks better on the newer one

I hope the thing has die-cast or some amazing possibility because that is not worth it. If I was going to pay that much for a digivolving Digimon toy it woud for one of the more unique ones. As for the what toys thing I had the digivolving Patamon but one of our dogs chewed Angemon's head not long after I got it, the US WarGrowlmon, Rapidmon, The spirit evolving Agunimon and BurningGreymon. A BladeGarurumon action figure. Two D-Tectors and the entire first wave Digimon Fusion. For anyone who gets the American Dorulumon toy be careful with it.

It is more complex than I expected, too. I'm down.
I'm excited to see more of the line. Also curious over whether they'll all be the Ultimate forms due to Tri, or the Perfect forms because they were more familiar in the anime.

Yeah, it looks way better than I thought - plus it has diecast.

It's still rather pricey but I'll place a pre-order just in case and then see how my finances look in November.

MetalGarurumon looks great. That seals the deal for me, I'm getting both Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon! :)

The video does impress me. They certainly are more intricate than I expected. And for what they are do a good job... So yeah I'm impressed now.

Still don't really want them though. :/ Just would rather have posable (non-transforming) action figures... And we haven't heard of any in a long while.

I hope the box in the background is the one the toy comes in, fully enclosed boxes with great artwork like that make for some nice display pieces :)

MetalGarurumon looks pretty sweet.
I wish I could put my foot down and declare that I'm getting them, but the price is the most offputting part about them, since they do look quite good.

I'd like to get them as well, since as I mentioned, I did have the original releases.

Also, show of hands, who here besides me wants to see a Blackwargreymon repaint?

Surprised so many so soon. Glad it's not just more rehashes of the old ones. They definitely seem to be taking the line seriously which is cool.

Diaboromon I'm actually interested in since I doubt we'll ever get any other sort of articulated version of him.

Oh hey, they remembered X-Evolution happened. Here I thought it was the black sheep of the franchise that they just pretend didn't happen :lol

I'm excited for the two of them, Diaboromon especially. I never thought we'd see an articulated figure for him, let alone a transforming one.
