Bonus funny points if Daredevil is not aware that bojack has a horsehead or doesn't care he has a horsehead. |
Just come back from Age of Ultron and all I shall say is that I enjoyed it a lot. Had a lot of good character development I wasn't expecting and made me care about some that I previously haven't particularly liked at all. Marvel just keep building on things brilliantly.

Man, Marvel just isn't trying with their symbiotes anymore. Seriously though, who accepted the return on this thing? |

I'm just going to take this chance to remind everyone to use the spoiler tags when discussing Avengers: Age of Ultron. If you don't know how just put [ spoiler ] before your text without spaces, and [ / spoiler ] after your text without spaces.
Thank you. |
Don't know what I was looking at before, but checked again and there Iron Man 3 is On Demand. So rented that and looks like I'm watching it tonight!
|
wow, FOX- I don't know what new meds you're on but keep the dosage. Jubilee looks excellent!

What are you guys' thoughts on this? This character has been a disappoint for me for some time now.

Also, has anyone considered that due to the fact that Wanda is "no longer a mutant" thanks to AXIS, that she technically committed a hate crime when she pulled that "No More Mutants" nonsense?
Because if the Avengers still defend her after someone in the comics brings that up, I am done with Cap and his ilk. |

And it's not like the X-Men exactly have the moral high ground ether. |

http://www.entertainmentfuse.com/ima...engersno1b.jpg Questioning the need for a race she nearly destroyed, regardless of her previous mental condition after a comment like this, doesn't seem like she's trying to make up anything. Rogue may be glossing over Cyclops' not always noble actions, but Wanda started the ball that brought Cyclops tumbling down hill, so putting it all on him when he was equally possessed is horseshit (and out of the Phoenix Five, he held the most restraint until the end (Emma burnt Hawkeye, Namor tried to drown Wakanda, and the Rasputin siblings held Avengers captive in a Volcanno. Cyclops didn't stop them physically, but he didn't engage or approve of most of that, and they typically did it behind his back)) I'd agree with you on the matter that she didn't intentionally kill anyone, if not for her selfish jab at her former dad resulting in an innocent kid suddenly drowning... https://p.dreamwidth.org/206bd676f73...can10023-3.jpg In some cases the changes being half-planned and lazy... https://p.dreamwidth.org/fc87aa261b5...can10025-3.jpg Or terrifying. https://p.dreamwidth.org/d5d65d61bdf...can10024-3.jpg And then of course there are the innoncent people who get hurt alongside the recently depowered mutants, who maybe can't contain the explosion that occurs when their volatile power goes out. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...amber_mday.jpg Cyclops kills one man while not in full control, he's a pariah. The Hulk causes rampages (whether you believe the retcons that no innocents were ever killed is up to you) and his closest friends banish him to space. Wanda gets untold thousands of innocent, sometimes harmless mutants like neck-lady up above killed or crippled like Chamber, and she's let back on her team and Vision's seen as a dick for being pissed that he was blown up. If we're not going to condemn Wanda, then the hypocritical hatred on Scott should take a pause as well, especially since Beast pulled similar shit in Black Vortex recently (where he attacked a Kree homeworld for standing against him), but since that takes place before Hickman's little timeskip, clearly the Illuminati and Avengers are still more welcoming of him for doing the exact same shit than they are of Cyclops, who just has to be the bad guy. |

Note: I haven't kept up with the X-Men for years. |
I think fox should give back the x-men and fantastic four to Marvel.

I know it's popular now to treat the Phoenix as this awful force of destruction, but why does everyone forget that when it first showed up, it saved the entire freakin' universe from the M'kraan Crystal? Or that Rachel used it for years and never blew up a planet or unintentionally hurt her teammates? Or that when it actually possessed Jean years later (they retconned the M'kraan Crystal/Dark Phoenix Saga into being solely the Phoenix's doing, but whatever), she had complete control and didn't risk any of her teammates or fellow planet's residents' lives? The mutant Hope was being trained to control the Phoenix, as she has some bullshit connection to it due to looking like and having similar powers to Jean Grey. It wasn't that dumb of Cyclops to think that the X-men, who have more experience with this entity than the Avengers, could use its power to bring back Mutant-kind. |

People hated Cyclops since before the pheonix force even existed. Cyclops is kind of a scumbag.
Lest we forget him cheating psychicly with Emma Watson. |

My Cyclops Sense is tingling!
*Looks up at thread.* People have been talking $#*%about Cyclops again! Completely ignoring the fact that, out of all of the X-Men, Cyclops is the one who has sacrificed the most in pursuit of a future for Mutants on Earth. His happiness and his reputation have all been sacrificed by him time and time again for what he believed to be the good of his people. Has he made terrible decisions? Yes. Has he tried to atone for them time and time again? Yes. http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/...uche_super.jpg |

You guys know the origin of the infinity gems ?
|
Remember how Hank Pym has done so many good things yet he still gets "wife beater" as a description? Yeah, Cyclops gets to deal with that too.
Doing good things doesn't automatically make a character likeable. Or negate what the character has done in the past. |

So apparently Telltale is going to make a Marvel game? I rather hope they don't try and tie yet another thing into the MCU... Especially a point and click adventure of the typical Telltale formula, because then there won't be any definitive narrative for people, which wouldn't really work for the relatively concrete MCU. Yet speculating about it being in there is all I see.
Marvel does and can do more than just the movies still is the only thing I can think of seeing all of that. |

but guess what "we don't want Hank Pym the wife beater in the avengers! fuck that guy!" Cyclops seems to have messed up so much, that I can understand that people are sick of him. hell, the hate for cyclops from characters in the comics have given us some of the best lines, my favorite being "why don't you get your heads out of Cyclops' ass?" |
I just like to remind everyone once again. Not everyone has seen Age of Ultron. And using Spoiler tags so not to ruin it for other people is appreciated. Don't be that guy.
