So I got in my Tajadoru and Meteor. They're both a ton better than I thought they would be. I was worried that Meteor would look really awkward from any angle other than the front, but wow, he looks cool. Tajadoru looks every bit as good as the costume, and for that I'm glad. I actually got some really solid joints this time around.

Does Meteor feel cheap? I noticed, depending on the light and the angle, he looks cheap in some of the pictures I saw. Especailly the chest.

Now that is a cheap feeling figure. My Meteor is actually pretty nice aside from an odd white smudge on his torso.

There are white dots all over meteor, so it was probably a paint defect.

I'm kinda worried that if Meteor falls off my shelf, then the pointy comet bits on his head will end up breaking off.

Honestly, it depends on what you're using as a reference for "cheap". If you compare him to something like VE Decade, then yes, he feels like an American toy. If your line of thinking is along there with more recent Figuarts, then he's perfectly fine, and a solid figure.

Animated Sentinel Prime cheap.

In that regard, he's Masterpiece quality.

I wouldn't have said Meteor feels cheap at all. I think they did really well with the paint considering how busy the design is when it comes to the stars. Mine is pretty solid too, hasn't fallen apart but is as flexible as a Meteor figure should be.

Did somebody say Gavan figuart? I would buy that in a heartbeat! I really hope this happens. Is animated Sentinel Prime really that bad? I am not the biggest transformer fan but I had him and loved him. He was my favorite of the bunch. I could transform him in a flash without frustrating me.

He is the absolute worst figure from that line. He was fun, for why you said. But the plastic just felt hollow and cheap.

I'm not entirely sure, actually. I'd assume it'd be VE.

Bluefin brings over MMPR rangers, and Zeo/Turbo/Lost Galaxy to hopefully, I hope they come with the right accessories. I don't need interchangable power coins, for example. But Tommy's chest shield being able to latch onto other figures I would like. Also, like someone else said and who I forget said, combining weapons would be epic. I know coming with a BaF Megazord would be asking much, but still. Knowing Bandai it'll be a BaF Figuarts Zedd just to force us to buy every figure. A headswap would be nice. Between actor and helmet. I'd love to pose them all with the actor's heads on, and them holding their helmets tucked under their arm.

I'll try not to go into a rant about this again, but I think it should be stressed again that while Bluefin will bring over the Zyuranger figures, they're not going to be based on MMPR. All they do is buy stock of the Japanese figures to release here, they're not in any way responsible for actually making the figures or even deciding which ones should be made. So things like interchangeable power coins won't happen, even if there's that much detail included, because it didn't happen in Zyuranger.

Dragon rangers armour probably won't be detachable, because the gold bands will most likely be moulded onto the figure. It's pretty safe to say there will at least be an Amoured Tyranno ranger release though.

Swappable heads probably won't happen, since the anime heads have never seemed to go down well and it wasn't really something that happened in Zyuranger (I'd think Go-onger would be the series to include something like that) and if it does happen they'll be based on the Sentai teams, not Power Rangers.

I would settle for a repainted pink ranger body with a tiger ranger head when they wind up over here. That is , if we get a mmpr boxed set at sdcc next year. If its just a guy body in yellow I will just put it in a femanine pose and call it a day. Beggars can't be choosers.

That's the one Power Rangers specific thing I can see them doing. It wouldn't require any new moulds or anything, it's a simple repaint and it could be sold as SDCC exclusive. It definitely wouldn't be a mass release though.

Despite the odds , getting human swappable heads , Zedd , Alpha , b.a.f. Zordon , 5ft Megazord that fits all the rangers and a Bulk & Skull 2 pack would be amazing. But so would winning the lottery and getting bit by a radioactive spider. They just aren't happening in all likelyhood.

Meteor Storm is in stock on HLJ. They just threw him in my Pile of lo, er, Private Warehouse. Can't wait!

There's something else. I want Battilizers. Especailly Mystic's SPD's, and Dino Thunder Triassic Ranger.

Guys: They're making American Figuarts. We've all seen the polls, we've all been watching the news feed. To say otherwise is to ignore reality.

Eh. I'd much prefer something like Zedd or Alpha to something like a Battlizer (And some would pretty much require an entirely separate figure, like Andros's or Shane's).

They'd be pretty shortsighted to not produce a Lord Zedd. Release it as an exclusive in Japan, fine. Even if it doesn't sell there, it will do *extremely well* in the US.

I don't like Power Rangers. AT ALL. It became a hit as I was cycling out of my afternoon kids show viewing, and I resented it for taking the spot of what could have been another cartoon. Whatever. The Sentai material is superior, though since I didn't discover that for myself until I was a lot older it doesn't hold much nostalgia value for me now. Buying the Jetman figures because I like the designs. But anyway, I despised MMPR for years.

That said, I would buy a Lord Zedd figuarts in a heartbeat. He was the best thing about the show. He had a good design, he'd make a good toy. And there's tons of US Marvel Legends and DCUC fans who grew up on MMPR that have been clamoring for a ~1:12 scale Lord Zedd for years. People would buy Lord Zedd that would skip the rest of the line.

Tamashii Nations is just the name of Bandai's subgroup that works on these adult collectables.

It's only been "defeated" by means of blind hope and ignorance, there's no point of arguing it further. Notice how every single one of the polls only mentions characters that were in Sentai? Even the original question of "would you like to see PR villians?" only used Goldar as an example, not Lord Zedd or the Psycho Rangers, who would obviously be far more popular with PR fans. Bluefin are going to more effort to distribute the figures, but they're still only distributing them. Not making them. With Shinken Red's still self warming in Toys R Us, what sense does it make for them to release MORE figures on a mass scale just for the small US market?

I don't want to be a jerk about it, if you guys are having fun discussing possibilities, but it just seems like one big fan dream with people refusing to see logic.
