Something neat I noticed about the Kaji is that the pommel/bottom of the handle has 3 clock hands going in a V just like the trident slash across Durandal's visor.

Also the red/pink point on the sword tip is meant to be a minute hand, while the blue point on the trident tip is the hour.

Oh that makes sense! Sword mode is 6:00 and trident mode is 12:30.

Blades Tategami Hyoujyuu Senki being an ice elemental form is similar to Wizard Water Style upgrading to Water Dragon.

Ehhh. Not that fond of Blades' new form. It's an alright design, but it just doesn't look like him at all.

It shares as much design work with Lion Senki as Dragonic Knight shares with Brave Dragon, both also using the original colour scheme as an accent colour.

I don't know how to put it, but I recognise Dragonic as Saber but I can't see any of Blades in here at all. It's probably down to the face.

It still has the wee swoosh on the right side of his visor, like Dragonic still has Saber's "X".

Oh, Kaji being designed like clock hands and literally turning around to change modes is really clever, it's like the turning hands of a clock! But I'm also so amused by how blatantly non-toy-accurate the spear mode is in the show. All the seiken are obviously scaled up (some more gracefully than others), but here it's just a completely different shape!

Man, that Blades form looks awesome

Blades' upgrade makes him look like a Polar Bear.

It might have something to do with how the top jaw of the lion comes down pretty far (at least in this shot) and breaks up the normal shape of his visor a lot.

Between that low jaw, the rough texture on the visor and what looks like an actual hair mane, the head almost looks more like a monster than a rider. I kinda dig it, but it's definitely weird.

I'm really hoping that Rintaro will be able to summon King Lion DaiSenki by using the new form. I know it wouldn't make much sense, but it would be a great way to give just a little more screentime for a form that's been used, what, 4 times in total, now? I honestly think that's such a neat gimmick. Lions are actually the most social wild cat species, after all. I'm sure the Wonder Ride Book will mention "pride" somewhere.

It'd also be nice for SO-DO/RKF collectors(and SHF collectors much later) to have some more...replay value, if that makes sense. I hate when I pick up a toy for a new form just to see it get tossed aside in the series. It still makes for a great display piece, but I really love to have a reason to display certain things right at my desk and at hand's reach.

Rintarou summons Kenshin as Fantastic Lion and then summons another generation of Blades and gives that illusion the King Lion WRB

Would be a neat sight. Even more so if Toei jokes on this on a 50th anniversary movie and Blades summons Kenzaki.

Hear me out: Ice Mane (or one of his other forms) riding King Lion!

It looks like Ice Beast Blades' book has representations of all of the existing animal Wonder Ride Books, and more.

Suppose that's not too hard to do when there's all of, uh. 5 animal ridebooks. 7 if you count what specific slots the Alter ridebooks go into.

I mean, you're right. It's not that hard.

I'm honestly more interested in the other five animals on the book. Like, where did they come from? Who's animal books are they?

It looks like another big cat, a squid, an elephant, a bat, and a hammer head shark. Why those animals specifically?

It's only a matter of time until Ren becomes a Megid. And Dezast will make that happen.

Dezast will show Ren that he doesn't need Kento or anyone to to admire in order to seek strength, but only his own and a Megid's power.

The animals on the cover are a bit weird theme wise since apparently I keep hearing that Blades' new form is him bringing out past swordsmen as summons.

I'm guessing the animals on the cover are meant mostly as a "King of Beasts" theme.

I think what surprises me the most is we have a new monster showing up.

I'm glad that while the Megid grow shorter on Generals, we are still getting Megid from them.

Something tells me Logos might become Espada.

I doubt it, considering that he’s using Gekido as well as Ikazuchi, and we’ve seen a new silver rider with a dark red master logos-looking cape that clearly isn’t Durendal. I could see him maybe becoming Espada as a one-off, but not as a lasting thing.
God I miss Espada’s suit.

It might that he uses a belt like calibur’s or saikyou’s and he uses king of Arthur, makes sense master of the swords of logos and he does desire to rule the world

Judging by the scans... I'mma say

29 is Rintaro's utter defeat
30 is our new Megid who is likely to be Mei and likely when Rintaro and Touma hash things out.
31 would then be our new toy for Rintaro.

Or they stretch the new Megid into two episodes for drama and it ends up being 32. But yeah 31 or 32 feel like the right numbers to bet on.

Does anyone else think that the new Megid is our lovely editor Mei?

You can see a hedgehog in the yellow panel and an Eagle in the Red One. This references Needle Hedgehog and Storm Eagle respectively. And the Lion (Lion Senki) is in the Middle. So maybe the remaining animals on those panels are the Animal Wonder Ride Books which we need for Gekido, Hayate, Suzune, and Kurayami. The Animals are, err, I can definitely see a bat in the red panel and an elephant in the yellow panel. So the pattern is that in the Blue Panel, you see the Water Creatures from Ocean Story. In the Red Panel, you can see the Air Creatures, and in the Yellow Panel, you can see the Ground Creatures. I wonder whether or not the final Animal Wonder Ride Books would be shown on the red and yellow panels.

You can see a wasp in the red one for Sabela and sea creatures in the blue one for Durandal.

Based on the cover, the third animal on the yellow part is some kind of non-lion big cat. I also don't think that all of the sea creatures on the blue part are from Durendal's book. The blue side shows a whale, squid, and hammerhead shark (which can also be seen on the cover). The animals on Ocean History are a stingray, a dolphin, a nautilus, a sea turtle, some angel fish, a sea horse, a whale, and a sunfish (I think that's what it's called?) The only animal that matches is the whale. Also, Sabela's book has multiple insects, but only one shows up on the red part, which leads me to believe that the squid and hammerhead could maybe be for separate books.
